Posted by Robin on 21 July 2006 6 Comments

Hilary DuffTeen pop star Hilary Duff will launch her first fragrance, With Love Hilary Duff, this fall under the Elizabeth Arden label. The fragrance was created by perfumers Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Stephen Nilsen: "Top notes are of mangosteen fruit and spices; the scent’s heart is also of mangosteen blossom and cocobolo wood, and its drydown includes amber milk and amber musk." That actually sounds pretty good! I just heard on the BBC that Kylie is teaming up with Coty to create a range of perfumes.

I'm thinking the durian fruit is waiting for its closeup, celebrity perfume-wise. Heh. I need to go look up cocobolo wood, but please extend my heartfelt congratulations to Hilary. xoxo

LOL! Will pass on your good wishes :-)

Just found cocobolo wood on wikipedia…my favorite source for all things, and elsewhere found that the scent is supposed to be similar to that of rosewood.
