Tara Patrick, aka Carmen Electra, to release a fragrance

Posted by Robin on 3 May 2006 11 Comments

Carmen Electra to launch fragranceCarmen Electra has announced in an interview with Metro News (link to article no longer working, sorry!) that she will be launching a clothing line and fragrance:

...but I just had a meeting with the fragrance people and they’re going back to redevelop the scent because I wasn’t really happy. It wasn’t completely me. I want to make sure that if my name is on it I want it to be true and real and a fragrance that I will wear every day. So I’m going over some new scents.

    I'll have check this out.

I think Carmen's really pretty, and yep, I'm daft enough to think I'll magicly look like her. The power of the name on the bottle…

Is this anything to do with it? http://www.carmenelectrafragrance.com/index.html

Its manufactured by the German Company LR Beauty who were supposedly responsible for Christina Aguilera's first fragrance “Christina Aguilera” which is sold exclusively online: http://christinaaguileraperfume.com/default.aspx

The site just calls the Carmen Electra perfume “Carmen Electra” and states that the Eau de Parfum has a “Fruity entrance with soft peach aromas, the middle note leads the way to an opening of an intense flower bouquet. The base is build and evolves around precious woods in this ambivalent composition”

Sounds pretty standard and forgettable to me….

Anyway it comes in 50ml and 100ml and there is also a shower gel and body lotion.

Oh and I forgot to include this link which is from the LR world website and lists other celebrity fragrances made in conjunction with LR beauty.

Thanks, I suppose that is it! It launched with no fanfare, LOL — and have not seen such a terrible website in a very long time: “Camen Electra has a lot of defferent facets.” They don't even spell her name right!!! Amazing.

Perhaps she may rebel against the fruity/ floral celebrity fragrance stereotype and come out with something different. And then again, I just won the lottery1
