Fifi Awards: UK, Spain & Germany

Winners of the UK Fifi Awards include:

Women ~
Prestige Fragrance: DKNY Be Delicious
Fragrance in Limited Distribution: Viktor & Rolf Flowerbomb

Men ~
Prestige Fragrance: Christian Dior Homme
Fragrance in Limited Distribution: Jo Malone Pomegranate Noir

And in Spain, Calvin Klein Euphoria won the award for best women's selective fragrance, Christian Dior Homme won for the men's. Dior Homme also took honors for Best Haute Couture fragrance for men in Germany. Its female counterpart there was Hermès Un Jardin Sur Le Nil.

    Don't know how they managed to get the Jo mlaone listed as a men's scent seeing as it is a shared fragrance.

    I'm sure that there are many others that they could have chosen, somethings like Creed's Original Santal. It stands head and shoulders above anything that Jo Malone releases.

    Interesting, I was thinking the same about Jardin Sur Le Nil, which also won best new women's fragrance at Basenotes this year. I must be crazy but I don't find it in the least feminine, and I think Hermes markets it as a unisex.

    Unfortunately I never saw the list of finalists for any of the European countries, so I have no idea if there were better choices. It will be interesting to compare the winners in the US, and France also — actually I thought France usually held their Fifis earlier in the year, but I haven't seen any news items.
