Jil Sander Sun Delight, Delices de Cartier & more new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 12 January 2006 16 Comments

Jil Sander Sun Delight fragranceJil Sander will launch Sun Delight this April in Europe:

The floral oriental juice, created by Firmenich’s Nathalie Lorson, opens on notes of passion fruit, reseda and Sicilian bergamot. The heart is a mix of vanilla orchid, frangipani and chocolate cosmos; the base a blend of musk, woods and cedar.

Jil Sander Sun Delight will be in 30 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette and in matching body products. (quote via moodiereport, additional information via cosmoty.de)

Délices de Cartier will debut in March at Cartier stores:

Délices borrows its name from a jewelry collection and the red cut-patterned round bottle topped with a flower (designed in-house) is inspired by a Cartier brooch. The floral scent by Christine Nagel of Quest, includes top notes of cherry with jasmine in the heart and amber and vanilla at the base. (via cosmeticnews)

Update: see a review of Delices de Cartier.

The next limited edition series of bottles from Serge Lutens will be coming this Spring. "Les Fauves Royaux" will redecorate Ambre Sultan, Un Bois Vanille, and Datura Noir with a panther, tiger and gazelle as inspiration. (via abc-luxe) Update: see a picture!

Parfums de Rosine Rose d'Amour perfumeComing soon from Parfums de Rosine: Rose D'Amour, with notes of ginger, galbanum, bergamot, aldehydes, rose, iris, jasmine, moss, musk, pepper, vetiver. (via first-in-fragrance) Update: Les Parfums de Rosine Rose d'Amour is a floral aldehydic developed by perfumer Camille Latron; additional notes include pink pepper, narcissus and nutmeg. It is available in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum. (via les-parfums-de-rosine)

Wow, how beautiful! And with cherry notes, interesting! I wil have to try this one, amber and vanilla in the base doesn't hurt either.

Delights, delices, and wild animals…:-) Very interesting. I am trying to imagine cherry paired with jasmine. Maybe it will evoke cherry blossoms? I don't know, but I am intrigued.

It is a lovely bottle. Can't decide what I think of the notes, although it isn't a detailed list, is it?

The Cartier could go either way for me, we shall see. Really looking forward to seeing pictures of the new SL bottles — and not likely I'll ever see them any other way!

The S.Lutens scents are the exported ones that are available to us here in the US.Do you know if these LE ones will be distributed here,or is this only a French launch?

To my knowledge, the limited edition bottles never make it to the States, but hope someone will correct me if I am wrong.

The new Cartier sounds like Trouble with a cherry on top. Nice bottle, though.

Hmm, this bottle is so pretty. Maybe this'll be a Cartier I like! I used to like the panther one, so who knows?

PS Rose delivery will be this weekend. Hectic week.

Oh, that Cartier bottle is really gorgeous. I hope it smells as good as that bottle looks. I am also trying to imagine cherry and jasmine together. I look forward to smelling this this spring!

It is pretty. Just struck me today that it reminds me of the MyQueen bottle…must go off & look at the pictures next to each other.

Tried on Delices at the Cartier store and didn't care for it. They also gave me 2 samples to take home. How generous of them, but too bad seeing that I don't like it!

It was a tad too sweet for me, but liked this one better than the Hypnose so we may have opposite tastes :-)
