And the prize for the silliest perfume name goes to J. Lo. Honestly, Love at First Glow?

I shudder thinking of what D. Steel's fragrance will be like. I may be proved very wrong, though I can't imagine myself ever trying it on, so I will never know if it's good. :-D

M, the possibilities for author perfumes are endless and that really cracked me up this morning. Stephen King should be next ;-)

According to WWD, this is geared towards a very young audience — even younger than the original JLo Glow. They probably won't mind…

That would be JLo Live, which is actually on shelves already.

I would be the first in line to buy that one, seriously. I would even queue for him to sign my bottle. :-) (I am a sad sad person) If he gets one though, it should be something along the lines of Messe de Minuit.

A scent strip of the new American Girl fragrance came in the latest catalog. I'd like to tell you what it smells like, but my 7yo daughter ran off with it before I could get a sniff. She seemed to like it, though. ;)

Drat — I get that catalog, although I have no idea why, and I toss it as soon as it arrives so I guess I missed the scent strip. I was in the store in NY recently with a friend who has a daughter, and I was simply blown away by the whole thing…the movie theater, the restaurant, the doll hospital…those people know how to market.

I think that is right, it doesn't officially debut until October, but several people have seen it in stores already.

The american girl perfume smells very similar to curious by britney spears to me…but it lasts longer and has a softer tone. I sprayed it on my wrist to make sure. The bottle is pretty, star shaped that stands on it's own and a light pink color. Good starter perfume for girls, or for everyday. I didn't price it though.
