It’s July, and we’re officially in the dog days of summer (the summer reading poll is coming up next weekend). Meanwhile, we’re whiling away the time with our same-old open thread poll.
Talk about anything you like — the fragrance you’re wearing today, your favorite scented after-sun product, whatever.
Or, ask a question about fragrance, then see if anyone else has asked a question that you can answer…

Happy Friday! It’s also National Graham Cracker Day — s’mores, anyone? Birthdays: Jean Cocteau, Bill Watterson. Our community project for today is Cologne part 1: wear a classic citrus-based cologne. (If it helps start you off, see 5 perfumes: (great) old school summer colognes.)
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I’m doing day 2 of Eau de Guerlain, just the thing for the hot and sticky weather we’re having at the moment…

It’s Thursday and the 4th of July. What fragrance are you wearing?
I’m in Eau de Guerlain, and I’ll probably wear it tomorrow too.
Reminder: on 7/5, we’re doing Cologne part 1: wear a classic citrus-based cologne…

Donatella, Our Lady of Fragranced Forgiveness,1 is now officially a Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Italian Republic, and she’s had a chance to rest after the Pride Party she threw in June at The Standard NYC. She’s ready and willing to hear the confessions of her flock, so please tell her what you bought in the 2nd quarter (April, May and June) of 2024.
Note that if you have javascript disabled, you won’t be able to vote in the poll, but you can still record your purchases in the comments.
Me: same old, sorry Donatella…
