It’s late July, so it must be time for our annual shower census….do tell us about the scented products in your bath or shower! How many scented shower gels and/or bar soaps are in your shower right now? And do tell us the names / products. After complaining last year that I had only bought one new shower gel all year, I went a little overboard. I currently have 11 (too many to keep in the shower, so they get rotated in and out of a small cabinet next to the shower). Oldies in the mix: Lush Sticky Dates, Lush Mimosa (almost gone), Lush Happy Hippy, Lush Posh Chocolate, Lush Rose Jam, Shikai Yuzu…

For the 1976 Stones song Memory Motel, inspired by the motel of the same name in Montauk, I’m in Hermès Eau des Merveilles. (I wanted to be in Comptoir Sud Pacifique Aqua Motu to match the song’s nostalgia, but I can’t find it, and maybe I no longer have any.)
