Lush Toothpaste jellies are currently available only at the Liverpool and Shinjuku stores; I hope they're going to become more widely available. Flavors: White Fang (mint), Megawatt Smile (bergamot, sea salt and "electric daisies"), Purple Bananas (fruity with chamomile, cardamom and calendula), Blue Tooth (lemongrass and eucalyptus), Tornado (pine cinnamon), Plaque Sabbath (activated charcoal and clove), Tang-o (tea tree oil and aloe vera), Tooth Fairy (bubblegum), Strawberries & Clean and Spearmint Bubblegum.
The daily lemming
My latest Lush want: Groovy Kind of Love shower gel. "Lost your mojo? Bring it back with this refreshing twist of bergamot and freshly squeezed orange juice that will get you feeling groovy, baby! Take a trip into the shower and feel the flower power as alluring ylang ylang and rose petal infusion soothes your body and mind, whilst rosewood tones the skin to leave you radiating positive vibes." It is available in the UK; in the US so far we have the bath bomb only.
The daily lemming
I don't use bath bombs, and I'm not going to start, but I love looking at them. Lush dropped a bunch of new ones this week (although some of what I'm showing above is old). Tops on my list: Bom Perignon (above left, citrus), Lucky Cat (center, jasmine absolute, neroli & ylang ylang), Blackberry (top right, berry & olibanum), Rose Bombshell Egg (bottom left) and Hi Ho Silver (bottom right, citrus & olibanum). Also worth a peek, Fairy Jasmine, which sounds like Silky Underwear (not shown, jasmine, vetiver & ylang ylang).
Lush Junk & SOS ~ new fragrances
In conjunction with their new store in Liverpool (their largest), Lush has launched two new fragrances, Junk and SOS. There are also 27 reissues available in the store’s “Perfume Library”, some of them can also be found online in the UK…
The daily lemming
Lush lemming, day 2: the 29 High St shower jelly. Now, don't cringe, but it's supposed to smell like walking in a Lush store — hopefully, without the overload. "A clash of citrus, floral, and sweet scents collide in this refreshing treat to cleanse your skin and inspire your senses. The fragrance inside this jelly, named after the first ever Lush, was created in the labs that are still used today above the shop in Poole, Dorset. This perfume was created to bring to mind that unmistakable Lush scent that greets you when you step inside. Lemon and lime blend with ylang ylang and jasmine along with warming tonka absolute and sandalwood oil." 240g for £12 at Lush UK.
