Whistling in a golden cage

Posted by Robin on 16 November 2019 Leave a Comment

From Vanessa Paradis whistling in a golden cage in the 1992 advertising campaign for Chanel’s “Coco” perfume and Estella Warren fronting the Chanel No.5 videos to the cheeky girls bowling with the “Chance Eau Vive” scent bottles, highlights of Goude’s humorous work for the fashion house were lined up in a long dark hall of the Milanese location, which further enhanced the signature, popping colors the artist mixes in his images.

From Chanel's Les Exclusifs collection, Huile Douce: "A gentle hair and body oil that layers with any LES EXCLUSIFS DE CHANEL fragrance for the ultimate scent experience. This exceptionally sensorial oil combines citrus notes and White Musk with a Jasmine floral accord to subtly scent hair and skin." $180 for 250 ml. (oops, stick with the soap?)

We’ve posted it before, but it deserves a repeat: the 1990 Jean-Paul Goude spot for Chanel Égoïste. Below the jump, le making of (in which they go to Rio and build a copy of the facade of the Carlton Cannes), followed by the spot for Égoïste Platinum. (No English.)
