Love the teacup! I have one by this brand I bought a few years ago sitting right next to my Glasshouse Dragon Candle holder that I’ve now repurposed to hold utensils. They make a cute couple. ☺️
After Recovery Monday, I’m fully rested and ready to get stuff done. A bunch of chores on the list, some more food prepping (mac&cheese and beef stew!), and putzing about doing errands. It’s a bright, cool, windy day with bluebird skies. After several days of rain and grey skies, it’s a lovely change and a delight to be outside.
I’m wearing JM Vanilla Scotch from a travel spray that arrived yesterday. I was really missing my travel spray of Devotion. The last time I was in Ulta I was going to get a replacement but they didn’t have the travel size in stock. Vanilla Scotch scratches the same itch. It’s great for fall, and an easy everyday no brainer perfume that flies under the radar at work or around perfume phobic folks. It’s one of the few Jo Malone perfumes I like start to finish. For me, it was a successful blind buy. YMMV.
I’m in Ambra Aurea this morning and really enjoying how its aroma enhances my coffee. Makes it smell almost caramel-y.

Venting: though I am new to SMN, I rolled my eyes when I read yesterday there was three new changes, a new CEO, a general manager and an external creative something or other..hmm… me thinks the important question is whether this new direction will preserve that old-world Florentine character or move the house towards a more contemporary lux fragrance identity. Who knows. These people.
