Memo Paris Darling Point ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 13 August 2026 3 Comments

French niche line Memo has launched Darling Point, a new fragrance in the brand’s Graines Vagabondes collection.

Heading south. Setting off into the open. The freedom of a golden, intricate rocky coastline comes into view; the sparkle of the deep blue sea triumphs in the shade of the pine trees. A wave of Cashmeran. Dreaming on the jetty—of sandalwood and amyris, of the urge to dive into the water, as invigorating as a fruity fragrance note. Then, feeling the boldness of the Mediterranean sun on your skin, and the silent pact between ylang-ylang essence and Madagascan vanilla absolute. Rediscovering leisure—the simple, enveloping joy of gazing at the horizon where sea meets sky. Blue upon blue—pure nirvana.

Memo Darling Point is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update: Darling Point will also be available in 30 ml. A description from Memo Paris...

A neighbourhood on the shores of Sydney Harbour, facing the Opera House: Darling Point borrows its name from a place where the light never settles. Its eau de parfum ripens a perfectly sweet pear, brightened by a luminous orange blossom and an elegant rose absolute, over moss, cashmere wood and praline. An Australian encounter sculpted for infinite horizons.

And another from Skins...

Darling Point Eau de Parfum by Memo Paris opens with jasmine and orange blossom. Pear unfolds in the sunshine. A rosy, saffron-hued light lends the composition a warm glow. Apple and praline round it off with a gourmand accent.

It makes no sense that you would feel the Mediterranean sun in your skin at Darling Point, given it’s in Sydney . Maybe the Pacific sun isn’t evocative enough? Also, you don’t see the horizon but the houses and the city and the bays in the harbour, the wealthy Sydney suburbs.

Totally true, and possibly the quote is just wrong…the fragrance is not yet on the Memo website so I am quoting the niche boutique Osswald.

At least they’ve found it on the map now though it actually takes its name Yaranabbe after an Aboriginal leader and then became Mrs Darling’s Point after the wife of the governor of New South Wales ( maybe the light never settled on her)
