French niche line Neela Vermeire Créations has launched Neith, a new fragrance. Neith is named for the Egyptian goddess.

Black pepper ignites the opening before the fragrance descends into a deep, myrrh-laced incense drydown. Frankincense, oud, opoponax, cypriol, vetiver, cedarwood, labdanum and castoreum give Neith its ritual density, while rose and carnation move through the centre, flickers of colour within the smoke. Ambergris, vanilla and sandalwood bring a slow, resinous warmth to the base. Deep, rich, spicy and heavily threaded with myrrh, Neith feels like incense rising from the edge of creation: radiant from darkness, rooted in shadow and impossible to fully unveil.

Yep, it’s their standard size for extrait. It is $415 at Luckyscent.

This is the first new release for a while that I’m excited about. I’ve got a sample on the way, but I very much hope it don’t like, because it’s an awful price!
It’s not really a bad price per mL for an extrait, but offering it only in a 60mL size is an issue. Smaller sizes usually are more per mL, so if she offered, say, 10 mL for $100, it would be a lot easier to consider.
The bottle and juice are giving me Youth Dew.
