Unfortunately, things that are drought resistant often to not tolerate extreme rainfall well. I used to have rosemary next to my patio. We don’t have a lot of ticks where I live, but we do have lots of other things, and the rosemary seemed to keep the aphids and the mosquitoes at bay. Unfortunately, we got a tropical system that dumped a foot or two of rain on us, and the rosemary drowned.
