Regime des Fleurs Saffron Fever ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 24 March 2026 2 Comments

Niche line Régime des Fleurs has launched Saffron Fever, a new limited edition fragrance.

A fever dream in fragrance. Refined, sophisticated, endlessly lasting. Pomegranate, saffron, and oud grow more hypnotic by the hour.

"Saffron is elusive. Quite the opposite of easy or obvious as a fragrance note. That’s what made me want to work with it and to capture the full potential of these tiny, rare, red floral threads. Saffron gives perfume unusual complexity. Woody, mineral, honeyed, suede-like…all that with a subtle smolder. This new fragrance does a slow burn as it melds with your skin. Surprisingly soft, delicate but lasting, a touch delirious. It makes no attempt to please…yet it’s an addictive pleasure. You slow down and go back to smell it again and again. Then, before you know it, you’ve caught Saffron Fever." – Alia Founder, Perfumer and Creative Director

Additional notes include bergamot, blood orange, osmanthus, vanilla, musk and sandalwood.

Régime des Fleurs Saffron Fever is $220 for 30 ml.

I love saffron. In perfume? Love it dearly. It is not and has never been a note used excessively in the perfume industry but when it happens to be included in the composition it has never let me down. It makes ordinary perfumes smell extraordinary (if You like saffron like me). It’s one of those notes that when I see it listed in the perfume in the piramid, I am instantly interested. Saffron in perfume makes “my head turn” and spikes my interest instantly.
Question is: is being a limited edition a good thing or not? That technically means that once You get Your bottle and love it – it may not stay forever and also may never become Your signature perfume. Marketing-wise it’s like “get Yours now before anyone else does”.
I still can’t bring myself to order any perfumes unless they are Chanel so I don’t even have to worry about this one – but maybe Chanel will release something with saffron in the future, what a day that would be.

For this brand, it means it will be on sale for about a month, no more.
