French niche line Memo has launched Cap Camarat, a new fragrance in the brand’s Fleurs Bohèmes collection.
Cap Camarat by Memo Paris evokes the radiance and vitality of summer on the French Riviera – that feeling of warm sunlight against the skin. A burst of pink peppercorns and crisp apples blend with a heart of crystallised vanilla and warm benzoin, settling into a velvety sandalwood base.

Head southward. Set sail. Drift away from the shore and into a trail of scent. It carries the soft sounds of bodies moving through summer and velvety labdanum. Welcome the sight of a little fishing harbour turned movie backdrop. Follow the echo of a shell. Let your eyes drink in this placid port of pink peppercorns, the Golfe d’Azur and French Riviera, recalling all the legendary scenes, dreams of patchouli and jasmine-eyed actresses. Suddenly, in the course of the voyage, nature takes the leading role. A magnificent lighthouse appears, its giant light projected on Cap Camarat through a mirage of benzoin. Golden rocks jut out in a freeform filigree while the sparkling, blue expanse prevails over the shady pines. Cashmeran laps like the waves. You daydream all the while in sandalwood and amyris on the pontoon of a boat, delighting in a dip that offers the briskness of a fruity accord. Your skin tingles, then, with the mighty Mediterranean sun – a tacit agreement between ylang-ylang essence and Madagascan vanilla absolute. [...]
“I imagined Cap Camarat like the sun’s rays beckoning us into a caress of light on the skin. I wanted to create a radiant, joyous fragrance that would enfold the wearer in a sensual, tender, deliciously addictive cloud. My hope was to let the fragrance merge with the skin, becoming almost second nature. It enshrouds the wearer in optimism, imbuing gentle joy and leaving a luminous trail in their every step, akin to a promise of eternal summer.” [perfumer] Nadège Le Garlantezec
Memo Cap Camarat is available in 30 ($170) and 75 ($340) ml Eau de Parfum.
