Tom Ford will launch Taormina Orange, a new fragrance in the Tom Ford Private Blend collection, later this month.
This citrus fragrance begins with bright, effervescent green mandarin and lime heart for a tart, citrus, fruity, and floral opening. Cardamom follows with fresh green spiciness, adding a duality of coolness and grounding warmth. Orange flower absolute is lush, luminous and intoxicating. The orange flower’s petals glisten with the vibrant juiciness of Sicilian blood oranges. The fragrance rounds out with the woody depth of patchouli oil, earthy richness of oakmoss and salt-inflected second-skin musks.
This fragrance is inspired by a private hilltop resort atop the sunlit cliffs of Taormina. The perfume captures the blood orange groves, crisp winds, and dramatic sea vistas of Sicily. The fragrance rounds out with the woody depth of patchouli oil, oakmoss, and salty skin musk.
Tom Ford Taormina Orange will be available in 10 ($75), 30 ($195) and 50 ($300) ml Eau de Parfum, and probably in other sizes as well.

Well I absolutely love oranges in real life, my 3 favorite orange-y note perfume: Serge Lutens Mandarine-Mandarin, of course the absolute perfect candied mandarin perfume ever created and long discontinued, Memo Winter Palace with its beautiful spot-on orange and Lapsand Souchong tea that somehow lightly scratches the itch for Mandarine-Mandarin, and Coco Mademoiselle EdT, with it’s absolutely most beautiful, impressive and truly juicy and yummy (juiciest and yummiest to be exact) orange notes I found in perfumery.
Orange and some saltiness, mossiness sounds possibly good but I think generally as a person I prefer it on the sweeter side. Blood orange – just saying it out loud makes my mouth water.
I am not a huge TF fan but I do like orange + cardamom.
I am also not a huge TF fan. Orange + cardamom sound good together. In my opinion orange and any spice sounds good.
