I never get tired of this

Posted by Robin on 27 March 2024 5 Comments

I never get tired of this. I put it on in the morning and it stays with me all day. People in New York, Europe, and Australia have stopped and asked me what the scent is. Some actually have taken out pieces of paper and written the name down. It has a mixture of spice and floral scents that really works for me. I don’t have to look up the notes — I know what’s in it as soon as I smell it.

That is interesting, I would guess Angélique Kidjo can have all the perfume she wants 🙂

I try really hard not to idolize celebrities or project my own ideals on them, but damn was this a fun read.

Poor Anderson .paak switching from Black Orchid to Terre d’Hermes because he was tired of smelling BO on everyone. (I saw an interview where Henry Winkler said he would TdH parfum too.)

Weird that he switched from Black Orchid (which not many guys were wearing) to Terre d’Hermes which at the time he’s talking about was, for guys, even more ubiquitous than BO was.

Amy Sedaris definitely made a commitment : “I have 13 bottles of Comme des Garçons’ Avignon perfume, just in case they ever stop making it.”

So interesting, I would have thought Terre d’Hermes was pretty “recognizable” too but maybe not quite so much as BO.
