The almost-daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 2 January 2024 11 Comments

Guerlain inaugurates a new series of annual numbered edition bottles numbered edition dedicated to the Lunar New Year. We begin with the dragon for 2024, designed by Parisian jeweller Francesco Truscelli and decorating the bee bottle for Neroli Outrenoir. 1855 were made, in 125 ml with 30 ml travel spray. Contact Guerlain if you want one (I do not know the price or if they will be sold online, if you know, do comment).

I should stop looking at the daily lemmings when there’s a red bottle. This one is really pretty … I will resist!

I will. I would rather get the snake!

Fortunately I already have a red bee bottle, filled with Spiritueuse Double Vanille, sans dragon. The dragon doesn’t interest me.

I am lacking a red bee bottle, but I don’t love this particular dragon for some reason, and I really don’t love the crystals hanging off his tail.

I didn’t like the dangly bits on last year’s bee bottle of Imagine either. Looks tacky to me.

It’s 750€ and someone in the Netherlands says they can see it on the NL Guerlain website, so possibly it is available in the US too.

I’m waiting for the Passage d’Enfer bottle, since they’ve done Tiger and Rabbit already. Just waiting for it, not going to buy it.
