The maker of Burberry and Gucci fragrances now sees like-for-like sales growth of 8% to 10% in the fiscal year that started in July. That’s up from the 6% to 8% sales-growth forecast the company gave in August. Sales are expected to accelerate at a faster pace in the first half of the fiscal year, Coty said in a statement Wednesday.
The recently launched Burberry Goddess fragrance is selling particularly well and helping to power the more optimistic outlook, according to Coty.

I just smelled a scratch and sniff of Burbrrry Goddess whic came in a magazine. It smells like a pleasant dry down, totally undistinguisahable from half a dozen other Amberishy perfumes I could mention, but won’t. But, scratch and sniff, you know. Perhaps it has some top notes or other hints of personality when dealing with the actual juice….If someone smells , please let me know. Having written this, I feel snarky.
You nailed it. It’s pleasant. The drydown is a chemical smell. It’s being heavily promoted on fragrance youtube right now. That’s probably why it’s doing so well.
Feel free to snark.
