Tom Ford has launched Café Rose, a new warm floral addition to the Signature Collection. An earlier version of Café Rose was part of the Private Blend Collection.
A sensuous haze of pleasure. CAFÉ ROSE captures the untamed sensuality of a refined rose infused with the unexpected twist of dark coffee.
Essences of Turkish rose and dark coffee reveal sensual depth, while Rose Bulgaria and Ylang Ylang Comores exude sparkling floralcy.
Coriander, patchouli and spicy cardamom simmer atop incense resin and sandalwood accords.
Tom Ford Café Rose is available in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum, $115-$225.

Well, this sounds really good to me. I have always preferred the Signature Collection to the Private Blends, hope I can find a tester somewhere.
Sadly I cannot even remember Cafe Rose, probably haven’t smelled it since it launched in 2012. But I think the Signatures are usually better than the Private Blend too.
I hope I can smell this at my Sephora.
I would think so, eventually.
Might be worth taking a sniff.
I’m gonna start using “floralcy” in day-to-day conversation.
snort. I actually looked it up to see if it was a real word.
You obviously never bothered to read NST’s ‘Perfumers Lexicon’ 😂

I obviously cannot remember yesterday, much less 2008.
Lol, right there with you.
Yesterday? Isn’t there a song about that?
And I’ll demand that said floralcy simmers atop any incense and sandalwood notes in my fragrance choices 😉
Thank you Robin, I have Café Rose and like it quite a bit, glad to see it back, TF discontinues right and left and then brings back sometimes it seems. Next I vote for Sahara Noir.
Given that Sahara Noir didn’t sell well , was expensive to produce & was poorly reviewed by average ‘non-perfumista’ customers (i always remember one bizarre review saying it smelled like dog food ! 🤪) i would think it unlikely !
We can hope Aurora!🤞
The original was in the standard ‘unisex’ PB packaging & sold as unisex , for this one they are reviving the packaging/bottle they used for the female version of TF Noir (‘noir Femme’ ) so wondering if when reformulating they have feminised it more or have kept the same DNA but just feel it would now sell better if aimed specifically at women.
I was able to sniff the original version of Cafe Rose when I had a perfumista meetup with NeyronRose in King of Prussia, PA. It was probably one of the best things I smelled that day, but the price tag put it squarely in the “Not Getting It” category.
Hmmmm!
I am sort of having a rose moment this sounds interesting to me…
