Happy Friday and happy International Nurses Day aka Florence Nightingale’s birthday — thank you, nurses! It’s also Myalgic Encephalomyelitis/Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) International Awareness Day and National Limerick Day aka Edward Lear's birthday. Our community project for today: Italian Designer Friday...wear a fragrance by one of the mainstream Italian fashion brands we have not covered so far...maybe Versace, Dolce & Gabbana or Armani? Zegna, Ferragamo, Fendi? Roberto Cavalli, Valentino or Gianfranco Ferré? (We've already done Italian Niche, and we've done Prada and Gucci).
What fragrance did you pick? As always, do chime in with your scent of the day even if you’re not participating in the community project.
I went with Valentino Donna. It is not fitting my mood today and I will probably change to something else later. On an unrelated note, I want to say a huge thank you for the lovely prayer plant I received yesterday from NST commenters. That was unbelievably kind. Kindness is always appreciated but at the moment, even more so than usual. Thank you.
Reminder: on 5/19, we're doing Dealer's Choice, edition 7. Propose a theme for a Friday community project, and wear a fragrance that fits your theme.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2023, where I'll try (but usually fail) to have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Note: top image is from the Valentino Spring/Summer 2023 campaign.
sotd = Bottega Veneta Eau de Parfum + Notturno Fiorentino Bois 1920
Not sure if any of this goes with today’s theme, but it’s a big Italian word salad at least?
The BV smells of flowers and leather, the NF is woody vaaaaannnniiiiilllaaaa! I smell like a department store perfume counter in a nice way, so I’m good to go.
Robin, truly hope you will enjoy the prayer plant, and know we care about you!
I don’t know if BV is a mainstream Italian designer or not, but who cares, we don’t need no stinking rules. Plus, you should get extra credit for the big Italian word salad.
Seriously the prayer plant is huge and looks very healthy, and the packaging was quite well done. You guys are the best.
ha! yah, stinkin rules be gone! 😅 and YOU are the best ⭐
I say BV counts! (Scent twins for BV) 😊
hi hi, BV twin! 👍👍😊😊
BV totally counts! Plus it smells wonderful.
thank you! 😊
I’m wearing Fendi Theorema today, because it was easy to grab. Too bad it’s discontinued and my tiny mini bottle is half-way finished.
I almost wore that one. You smell lovely!
I’m in your boat, just a mini with a few shots left in it. I mean to enjoy it while I can and not mourn it too much when it’s gone, but of all the scents Fendi ever launched, even their iconic first scent, Theorema will surely be the most missed. You smell great today, that’s for sure.
I thought of Theorema and should have gone with that today.
You smell lovely, PriscillaE! It was Fendi Theorema for me too, but last night, which meant that technically I was wearing it at 12:01 am when Friday began. Too bad it doesn’t last more than about 6 hours on me, but it did sing me to sleep. Hello NancyLeandros, glad to see we both love this beauty. I’ll stalk it on evilbay once I run out, as it’s one of my fave scents, and its beauty soothes me. With all the jillions of perfumes out there, there is nothing like it. I’ve tried all the smell alikes like Mauboussin, but they aren’t the same (she wailed).
I love that mini bottle, it’s the cutest thing! 😍
I’m in Armani Code for the CP today. I’m glad I pulled this out! I bought this in 2006 when it launched. The citrus top notes are gone of course, but it quickly settled into a warm, comfortable little thing on skin. Carlos Benaim, Dominique Ropion and Olivier Polge signed it. Wow.
I looked at the bottle and gave it a little lecture, “because you still wear well, and partly because of your parentage, you have escaped the swap bin…for now…”
It’s good to talk to your perfume bottles 🙂
That’s so funny! I used to have a bottle of that too. I wonder what happened to it. The mysteries of the disappearing perfume bottles. It’s happened to some other ones too; I was thinking of “Ange or Demon” for last week’s CP but it was nowhere to be found.
I know what you mean about disappearing bottles. I am searching for my Tauer Rose oil bottle for so long, nowhere to be found !! i really don’t know what happened to it.
I used to be better about tracking bottles and decants on a spreadsheet, but I haven’t updated the thing in *insert number here* years.
Stay dry this weekend, and happy cat-mom’s day!
IIRC, my little bottle of Armani Code was very pretty when I sniffed it last.
I don’t have a whole lot of Italian designers but I do have a mini of 1981-vintage Armani with maybe 1mL left, somehow miraculously still in perfect condition. I bet it was considered some sort of apex of shoulder-padded femininity in its day, but now it reads as curiously genderless, even though it has a lot of the usual markers of a women’s scent like a big green-aldehydic top and a bunch of flowers in the middle. If you look at Armani womenswear from that period you can see where fashion was going — menswear-inspired shapes, rather severe and businesslike but not surgically precise like Montana and Mugler — and you can certainly imagine these mannequins wearing it: like the clothing it’s very constructed and self-assured, the smell of confidence, with the usual big chypre-oriental base of sandalwood and oakmoss.
It is so weird which fragrances keep and which don’t. You’d think anything in a mini would be spoiled by now.
It’s completely unpredictable, isn’t it? Like every bottle has an invisible built-in timer. I have some spray bottles from that general era that are starting to go dreadfully wrong (poor disintegrating Spellbound), and minis or pour bottles from then or even earlier that are absolutely flawless (1977 Eau de Courrèges, fresh as the day it was made). This Armani still has its entire complement of shimmering aldehydes and citrus notes in the top, untouched by the hand of time: it hardly seems possible.
Not familiar with the scent but it sounds good, sandalwood and oakmoss…yum
Shaal Nur by Etro
For the CP and its also a good fit for my birthday 🎈 its a happy fragrance!
yes, finally some more sunshine today, and warmer temperature, and this morning I had a horse riding lesson on one of my favourite horses.
Best birthday presents!☀️🐴
And tonight going out for dinner with my parents.
Hooray, it’s your birthday and you smell fantastic!
Hope it is a perfect day, and sounds like it will be.
Happy birthday, Jiji! It’s really great to see you back. 🎂🎉🙌🏻🐎
Happy birthday! I hope you have a great dinner!
Happy birthday, Taurus!
Happiest of birthdays to you, Jiji!🎁🌹🥂
Happy Birthday! That is such an unusual and interesting fragrance. It nicely fits with the Etro clothes aesthetic. I love their clothes but alas they’re pretty pricey!
Etro clothes are lovely. Some stuff is bit too “hippie” for my taste (and yeah you have to be a very wealthy hippie to be able to buy this 😅)
but I sure wouldnt mind if one of those shawls spontaneously landed in my closet. ☺️
Yep, they are paisley people all the way!
Happy Birthday!
Happy Birthday, Jiji! 🎂
Hurray!
You smell amazing and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!
Very best wishes on your birthday.
Have a happy day and a great weekend and peaceful year
You smell wonderful for your day 😊
Happy Birthday, Jiji!
Happy Birthday!🎉
Happy birthday!
Happy Scented Birthday Jiji! Sounds like it has been a lovely one. 🐴🎂🎉🥂
Happy Birthday! And I agree with you on your two special presents today ☀️🐎. Wishing you all the best in the upcoming year!🥳
Happy Birthday, jiji!
Happy birthday a day late! Hope it was wonderful!

Nice, thanks!

Quick question: does anyone use wax melts? What brand do you like? I’m interested in something nice, but not too expensive. Subtle scents that don’t yell too much. Thanks!
I use Santa Maria Novella wax melts. They are beautiful to look at, have a light fragrance. Can get at Aedes or Beauty Habit I think.
Thank you, apsara! I’ll look for them. 😊
I used to use Yankee Candle wax melts, which are not at all subtle. But they did help with the aroma that comes from multiple cat boxes.
I’m thinking I could split them in half if they are too strong. Worth a try!
I chose Profumum Roma’s Acqua di Sale for the CP, and thank goodness that we don’t need no stinking’ rules because, while Profumum Roma is definitely an Italian house, I can’t seem to find the name of the perfumer who created it. AdS is a very beautiful salty/woody “ocean” kind of scent with an undercurrent of something very slightly sweet to keep it from being too mineral-y. I’ve enjoyed all the Italy-adjacent scents I’ve worn this week — fun project!
You smell great!
Acqua di Sale is still on my wish list.
Glad to see this brand is offering smaller sizes now. Like 18 ml…
(Not so long ago that was not the case, so I have a huge bottle of Arso that will probably outlive me 😅)
You and I have a lot in common — I have the huge bottle of Alba (will definitely outlive me), and a travel spray of Acqua di Sale is in my LS cart as I type this. 🙄
I am choosing my new bottle of EL Desert Eden. My client from EL from two years ago sent to me for my birthday.
How nice!
Wow, that’s a class act.
You smell wonderful. I liked all the EL Luxury Line; probably Radiant Mirage was my favorite, and Desert Eden was right up there.
It’s going to be too hot here to wear Roberto Cavalli Oro, so I went with a light fruity floral Armani–Pivoine Suzhou. It’s pretty and undemanding.
We are up to 84, not used to it yet so feels too hot for anything but cologne. But I will be used to it soon enough.
Happy International Nurses Day to the fellow nurses around the world…as a nurse of 30 years I know how hard you work. I went with Armani Si today for the community project.
Thank you for your hard work–you and all the other nurses out there and on our page. Having had too many surgeries and hospitalizations in recent years, I truly do appreciate the work and skill and attention and care I’ve been fortunate to receive from nurses.
Thank you for sharing your gratitude and appreciation for the nurses you’ve had. I wish you well!
Thank you for sharing your gratitude and appreciation for the nurses you’ve had. I wish you well!
Thank you, Nurse Tea Thyme 🙏.
Thank you!
Happy Nurses’ Day to you!
Thank you!
I’m going with Armani Privé Bois d’Encens for the CP. It’s such a good incense fragrance – Viva Bois d’Encens!
You smell great! Bois d’encens is a fragrance I share with my husband. Just like Hinoki (CdG).
They are both very versatile, you can wear those to basically every occasion. so I think one of those bottles will be the first to be emptied in my/our collection.
I want to try Hinoki – it sounds like a good one and versatile, like you say.
My husband thunks bottles at a much higher rate than I do, but then again, he’s working with a much smaller inventory😬
I live vicariously😁
Happy Friday!
Armani Prive Iris Celadon on one arm this morning for the CP points 😛 I am seeing a friend later and might switch to something more comfortable.
Sweeney Todd on Broadway was so good!! Josh Groban was a fine Mr Todd but the real star of the show was Annaleigh Ashford as Mrs Lovett. She had so much character and her sense of humor is impeccable. The staging was gorgeous as well, it was a true aesthetic experience. I would recommend catching it while its still showing if you can.
Thanks for the review, glad you had a good time!
I watched Sweeney Todd years ago in London, with Emma Thompson, it was amazing!!
Sounds fun! Not that same, but my girls and I have tickets to see the Lion King this coming Thursday and I can’t wait.🤩
Thanks for the info on Sweeney Todd. I doubt, though, I’d be able to take my eyes – and ears – off Josh Groban long enough to appreciate anyone else! ❤️ that guy!
We were up and at ‘em early today to try to beat the heat. Currently doing laundry. I’m working the next three nights so we are going to be holed up in a local motel to avoid the predicted 90*F+ heat the next few days. Then four days off and laying down rubber as we zip over to the coast as fast as possible to wallow joyously in the 50-60*F temps. 40*F difference just an hour and a half away!!
SOTD is Ninfeo Mio and I still love it. The only good thing about summer is summer perfumes. I’d like to find another refreshing scent this summer because I have so few in this category. I’m a total loser with the CP, as per usual. 🤷🏻♀️
Hope everyone has a peaceful and relaxing weekend! ✌🏼
Hope your nights go fast! Happy Nurses Day, you rock!🤘✌️
Happy Nurses Day, Deva!
Happy Nurse Day, Deva! 🌷
🌹Happy nurse day, stay cool.
Happy nurses day, Deva! Enjoy your relief from the heat.
Happy Nurses Day Deva!
Happy Nurses Day! Enjoy your cool weather as soon as you get there!
Your 4 days off will be here in no time!
Happy Nurses’ Day to you!
Happy Nurses Day, Deva. Glad you will be getting out of the heat this weekend. Temps are ramping up here as well!
International Nurses Day, and I have the day off! Fitting.😉
I’m afraid I’m a fail at this cp. I have none of the mainstream Italian brands listed, but I did go with something Italian: 10 Corso Como. So I smell good anyway!
I was up bright and early for a dentist appointment. Just a clean and check. My favorite long time hygienist got promoted to an administration position so sadly no longer cleans teeth. I have been cycling through the other hygienists in the office and have yet to find one I like. The one I had today was quite rough! Even the polishing at the very end, which I usually enjoy, felt torturous. Won’t be scheduling with her again! On the plus side, my teeth are probably the cleanest they’ve been in some time.😁
At 10 corso como you can shop lots of italian designer brands
So a very meta approach of the CP 😉
Awesome.😊
Yeah, there’s one particular new hygienist at my dentist who’s really rough and leaves the suction hanging off the side of my mouth the whole time, so it sticks to my cheek. I cringe when they book me in with her.
Oh yeah I hate that! Today she let me hold the suction and use it when I needed. There’s probably a note in my chart that I have voiced complaints about that lol.
You smell just wonderful.
Thank you! It’s been awhile since I’ve worn this one because I’ve been reaching for Tam Dao a lot lately. Every time I wear either one of these two I’m like “this one is my favorite” which is probably why I have both!😆
Oooooooof. I hear you on the rough oral hygienist. A cleaning should not feel like you’ve been mugged!
Ha! Right!
No credit for me–in Eau de Protection.
Sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do 🙂
I seem to be short on Italian designers in my collection because the only one I could find this morning was Teatro Alla Scala by Krizia, a raisin-y spicy amber totally inappropriate for the season. I guess I could have gotten partial points for Ungaro Diva since Emanuel Ungaro was Italian-French, but ah well. I’m wearing Clandestine by Guy Laroche.
I did Diva yesterday!
Thanks for mentioning the Clandestine. I’d not heard of it, and I love seeking out vintage perfumes.
Oh, I never thought of it, but I do have some K de Krizia in my perfume cabinet. It’s a scent I used to love.
That’s what I’m wearing😀, I hesitated between Krazy and K.
Great choice – I love Teatro Alla Scala.
Wearing Theorema today but just a little dab. I probably will wear copious amounts after work. I have no idea why Fendi discontinued this one. I am happy that I stocked up when I did.
And all these years later, they have not come close to doing any better fragrance.
In AdP’s Iris Nobile, discontinued but have an enormous 3.4 oz bottle, so set for life–easy to wear but not insipid.
Just back from visiting my 95 yr old Tante who lives in Manhattan’s Carnegie Hill neighborhood. Walked around the reservoir, up & down 5th Ave and Lexington Ave. Since PJs are all she wears anymore, got her a new pair at Bloomingdales. Passed the Malle store on Mad but didn’t have time to go in. Spotted a very niche-looking perfumery, also on Madison Ave by the name of Fig-something (Italian-sounding). They had very elaborate bottles in the window display.
My fave museum, The Frick, has some of its collection temporarily housed elsewhere. The original location’s under an extremely ambitious reno–supposed to reopen next yr, but that sounds very optimistic by the looks of it.
That sounds like a good day, and you smelled just right for it!
Friday!
1) My mom was an RN for 35 years- I got to see how hard she worked, and how she had to fight for pay. Thank you to the nurses on the blog and around the world.
2) No Italian Designers, unfortunately but I am in Bagetelle de Gabriel- very light edt, needed as we are going into a heat wave. Just last week we had chilly temps at night, now we are going into temps of 80s/90s (28-33C).
Good luck coping with the heat.
I’m in Ferre EDP today, my only other perfume that fits the brands listed for the CP. It’s a good one! It’s going to be a warm day so I went light on the spritzes.
Echoing what tiffanie said, Robin. We are glad the plant brought a bit of joy into your day, as we all care about you.
Thank you therabbitsflower! And taking care of plants is a good distraction 🙂
No points for L’artisan Coeur d’Vetiver Sacre today, which is really blooming in the (finally) warm weather.
Errand-running today. Get gas, drop off clothes at consignment, stop at the bank. Also meant to go to the dry cleaners, but three things seems to be my limit lately 🙂 I’m bushed!
Errand running can be exhausting.
Ha, ditto…went out to run 4 quick errands, did 3 and it was too dire to go do the 4th.
I’m complying with the CP in Armani Sensi, another old old bottle from way back when. This one is now only about 1/8 full so I think I must have used it a lot. It’s a heady sweet floral with a lot of benzoin. The main player is the black locust blossom. It’s the kind of floral you’re going to love or hate, I believe, both in a perfume like this one and in the world. In that regard it kind of reminds me of linden blossoms. Where I grew up we had both locusts and lindens and if you walked under one you’d think “Oooh” at first and then, for me at least, “Ugh.” Something about them is cloying. Fortunately I went pretty easy on the sprayer so I can tolerate this.
Robin I’m glad you like your plant. I had to look up prayer plants. I’ve seen those before but never knew their name or why they got it. I hope it thrives and will be a good addition to your home.
It is an extra bit of entertainment to watch the leaves fold up 🙂
I have an old mini bottle of Schiaparelli Shocking and that’s it. Literally. That’s to say, an old empty bottle which I thought might have a drop in it. So, wearing La Dolce Vita because of the Fellini movie link. Saturday here and off op-shopping with my son later.
Thanks nurses. I have fond memories of one of my night nurses, a huge heavily tattooed guy called Steve. I would smell him as he stealthily entered the room in the early hours, the glow from his torch lighting his path to the bed. Spicebomb.
Have fun with your son.
Spicebomb Steve! In the small hours of the night, quietly checking vitals with soft beep beeps in the background. I feel there is a poem in that.
Enjoy your afternoon.
He was such a nice guy. Looked like a biker in a blue nurse’s smock , was very quiet, and could fix anything … all by torchlight.
Great cp connection. I thought of that too but I am currently hoarding what is left of my mini.
You smell wonderful.
I was in K de Krizia for the CP, it was still going strong as it usually does but I’ve applied Guerlain l’Instant Magic on my sleeves, it’s got one of the best citrus top, my bottle is older so I’m happy that the citrus is still fresh-smelling, the drydown is creamy almond.
I bid on K recently but missed out. I have heard that the older bottles up for auction have turned. How has yours held up?
Hi Lillyjo, the thing is I’m not sure how old my bottle is but the scent is unchanged to my nose and very potent just like I remember it, I think I have a BUB too, I should check that. So sorry you missed this time around, bid for a bottle in its box for added protection, mine is boxed.
I’m CP-compliant in a very old (1990s?) version of Armani Acqua di Gio for women, which was my signature scent in the late ’90s. The bottle is almost empty, but I still keep it for old time’s sake. It’s a very pleasant scent for a warm, sunny day.
It’s a classic now!
Hi everyone! I’m glad it’s Friday.
Wearing Bottega Veneta today for the CP.
Last night I dug out my box bottle of Gucci Rush for Italian week, man I love that scent. I didn’t wear it today because I got a haircut and didn’t want to overwhelm my stylist but Rush is so over the top yet still very wearable. I need to wear it more often, Mr ringthing loves it, but maybe it would lose it’s magic if worn too frequently. Meanwhile, BV smells wonderful too.
Thanks to all the terrific nurses here and around the world. I’ve had some really nice ones through many surgeries.
Eeek, I love Rush, too!! A guilty pleasure. See my comment.
Wearing Gucci Envy.
Happy Friday! 🌞
A Perfume Unicorn sighting! 🦄
I am hoarding whatever is left in the bottle. I don’t think I will wear it again this year.
Hoarding? 🤔 Do we do that in these here parts?
Perfection!
Lush American Cream…happy Friday to all!
This will be the 5th Mother’s Day without my Mom and I am feeling sad 😞 though I am so grateful for the time I got to spend with her.
Fragrant hugs, She-ra 🌹
Thank you…hugs to you too, ringthing.♥️
More hugs. I’ve been missing my Mom something terrible lately.
And a hug for you, Jalapeño.
Hugs to you too, Jalapeno!
Adding another hug for you. 🤗
Thank you, Laila!
I can understand that, I’m sorry. Hopefully mini She-ra will make the day special for you.☺️
Thank you, MTG!♥️
Hugs! 🌷
Thank you, PL67! ♥️
Here’s another hug, She-ra! I also often miss my Mother; I lost her and my Father 4 years ago. But so much joy came into our family when my niece became a mother two months ago. I see some of my Mother in her and of course my sister, too.
Thank you, MossyBerry! Hugs to you! ♥️
Adding hugs She-ra. 💙
Thank you, lillyjo!♥️
Hugs to you, She-ra.
Thank you, hajusuuri!♥️
It’s a sunny Saturday morning here, and should be a bit warmer after a preview of mid-winter over the last couple of days.
I’m completing my Armani week with Bois d’Encens.
You smell fabulous, twin!
Summer temps here, but not the smothering humidity thank Goodness. Adding my thanks to all the nurses. I had a great one when I was in the ER last month. He did a good job calming me down when I had to have blood drawn. A decent stick, too; sometimes those hurt like a bleepity bleep.
SOTD = Roberto Cavalli Eau de Parfum. Loved this when I bought the bottle. Not so sure about it today. It’s a honeyed orange blossom, which is too heavy for the weather. It might smell great in fall or winter.
Sending a big 🤗 your way – good news on Teflon kitty and 🤞for sweet Spooky.
Thanks Laila. I caught Teflon kitty licking one of her sore spots rather energetically earlier this afternoon. Hope she doesn’t do that too often.
But the antibiotic shot she got seems to have helped.
I don’t think I have ever tried RC. It’s not available around here.
It was indeed a gorgeous day, if not verging on hottish. At least Teflon kitteh is semi-behaving for you!
A big thank-you to all the nurses for the incredible work you do and your remarkable dedication to caring for others, especially over the past 3 difficult years!🙏
I’m joining the Armani crowd for today’s cp in Acqua di Gioia edp. I’m out and about a lot today and its lemon and mint top notes were the perfect refreshing antidote to the warmth and humidity of the day and although light it has enough staying power to last thru the day’s activities. It was practically free as I used up Walgreens’ points that were close to expiring! And, not surprisingly, Anne Flippo is 1 of its 3 perfumers.
Another fun, busy week for me as many of the activities I used to participate in pre-pandemic are now either resuming or transitioning from Zoom to in-person once again. This morning I went to an in-person yoga class with my favorite teacher and this afternoon my library had a wonderful tea to honor its volunteers. This is the second time in a few weeks I’ve been ‘thanked’ for my service, and it sure felt good. Now I’m on my way to our first plant sale of the season – a native plant sale sponsored by our HS Ecology Club. Tomorrow I’m looking forward to my granddaughter’s HS play, Chicago the musical, and I can’t wait to see how the Art Deco bulb atomizer I lent her will be used in the play!
Wishing everyone a great weekend ahead and Happy Mother’s Day to all who have ‘mothered’ in one way or another. I’m looking forward to a day of rest and doing nothing!💐
I love that you and your granddaughter will have an “insiders” moment for the performance!
Had to dig deep in the samples for this one. Came up with Gucci Guilty. Was excited!
Had a great time wearing Gucci Rush in the late 90s: Gloriously big, brash and borderline obnoxious, in a red plastic cassette bottle. One blogger (who really liked the stuff) described it so: “There’s absolutely nothing natural about Rush… it’s as if it were created in a laboratory or perhaps a backstreet meth lab/crack den in Brazil.” Ha. Anyway, it was a perfect clubbing frag and so I had high hopes for all sorts of naughtiness from Guilty. Nah, none of the delicious trashiness of Rush. It’s a pleasant enough floral but no dirt, no skank, nothing to be guilty about. Disappointing. Ready for the CP…
The next CP.
“Delicious trashiness”, that’s a perfect description of Rush!
For the CP, Etro Patchouly. I continue to gather evidence that patchouli scents help repel insects, as I was very elegant and bug-free for a long morning’s gardening in a hajusuuri-level application. Post shower, I applied just a couple spritzes and have enjoyed most of it, but just when the day got humid it trended sickly-sweet via a bloom of tonka. I am *not* a tonka fan, usually. It’s a powerhouse and I’m looking forward to comparing it more carefully with Nobile’s patch. Shout out to all our favorite NST nurses!
Patchouli leaves were put in trunks of clothes to ward off insects and folks realized it made the clothes smell divine. One autumn I wore nothing but a homemade patchouli body oil that I applied every morning post shower and my work clothes smelled amazing, as did my closet every time I opened it.
SOTD = Prada Infusion d’Iris Absolue
Absolutely gorgeous and kinda sorta on theme with todays project!

I left work slightly early today and stopped at Bryant Park for its European inspired open-air market curated by Urbanspace, featuring artisans from New York City and around the world. The Shops are housed in custom-designed, “jewel box” kiosks. Basically, instead of a hard-sided shop )for the Winter Village), these are cloth made tent-like structures with a flat top. I bought a caftan which of course I kept referring to as a poncho 🤣
I am very busy tonight at work because of Mother’s Day. Thank goodness I have the weekend off. Tomorrow I am taking my daughter to the school dance. We have to go to the mall in the morning to get a few things.
I am wearing Dolce and Gabbana Pour Femme. Perfumey goodness.
Enjoy your mother daughter day tomorrow, lillyjo!
Have fun tomorrow, lillyjo!
Have fun with your daughter, lillyjo!
So my BF favorite scent is by Monotheme. Has this company gone out of business? I can’t seem to find it in the US anywhere. I’d like to refresh her supply as a surprise. Thanks
