Guerlain will introduce Jasmin Bonheur, a new addition to the brand's L’Art et la Matière collection, in January. The last release in the series comprised Oud Nude, Cherry Oud and Oud Khôl.
Guerlain’s Jasmin Bonheur Eau de Parfum brings new life to this iconic fragrance range. The scent mixes floral notes of powdery iris and delicate rose with sweet apricot, for a scent to be remembered.
I will update with more information when I can.
Guerlain Jasmin Bonheur will be available in 100 and 200 ml Eau de Parfum.

Update ~ Limited edition packaging for Jasmin Bonheur (and the new Figue Azur candle) was developed in collaboration with Maison Matisse. "Faithfully inspired by Henri Matisse’s painting, the motif developed by Maison Matisse exclusively for Guerlain is designed as an olfactory portrait that turns Jasmin Bonheur and Figue Azur into editions of true artistry." From the fragrance description at Guerlain:
Jasmin Bonheur unveils a colourful jasmine tinted with joyous nuances—radiant orange with an apricot note, vibrant violet with powdery iris and tender pink with rose—for which the Guerlain Perfumer drew inspiration from the dazzling palette of Henri Matisse. A perfect picture of happiness signed by Guerlain.
Delphine Jelk, Guerlain Perfumer, takes the beguiling sensuality of jasmine and floods it with sunlight. This daring approach unveils a trail bathed in the light of southern France, a region once beloved by Henri Matisse.
“If Jasmin Bonheur were a masterpiece, it would be a creation by Henri Matisse.” A born painter of happiness and sublime master of colour, Henri Matisse was one of the greatest artistic minds of the 20th century. “Drawn directly into colour”, as the artist put it, his masterpieces exude an irresistible joie de vivre.
On par with rose, jasmine is the most iconic flower used in perfumery. It is also one of the six beloved ingredients of the Guerlinade, the Maison’s secret olfactory signature that has defined Guerlain fragrances ever since its creation.
Jasmin Bonheur exalts both of the varieties of jasmine used in perfumery. Known for its olfactory potency punctuated with fruity notes, the large-petalled Grandiflorum jasmine is sourced by Guerlain from three different locations—Grasse, Calabria and India—to achieve exceptional olfactory quality. Among them, Indian Sambac jasmine offers up its more sensually solar facets, forming a scent akin to that of orange blossom.
Jasmin Bonheur is also available in 50 ml ($285). The 100 and 200 ml are $380 and $570.
The limited edition Maison Matisse Edition ("this Maison Matisse precious edition of Jasmin Bonheur transforms its case and the plate on its stopper into the most exquisite adornment. Limited edition of 1,000 bottles available worldwide") is $720 for 200 ml.
The notes sound nice, I like iris and rose
I like jasmine!
I am anxiously awaiting this one! I hear release date will be Jan. 23.
Harrods says 1/1, but I have no idea.
That sounds amazing, i thought this would be all about jasmine but iris and rose sound wonderful, can’t wait to try it.
I’m supposed to get a sample (a tiny one) sometime in January.
LOL! What is a “tiny sample” in your book?
Ha! A small, very small sample 😆
From S? I need to ask her for one too if so.
Yes.
So I have tried my sample several times, there is a white musk and ambroxan base that is a bit difficult on my nose, but layering it with a sweet lotion and spraying very moderately is making it more appealing to me. My husband loves it.
