The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 29 September 2022 8 Comments

And two more on my wish list from Lush, both limited edition reissues: Turmeric Latte ("As the night draws in, snuggle up with the cozy scent of vanilla, creamy tonka absolute and a hint of spice. This limited-edition scent is only around for the holidays, when we need its warm comfort the most. It's an incredibly long-lasting scent, with excellent projection"; 30 ml for $65 or 100 ml for $130) and Hot Toddy Shower Gel ("Best served in a hot shower, this blend of fresh ginger infusion, cinnamon leaf and clove leaf oils has a spicy, comforting scent. Fair trade organic aloe vera keeps skin soft and soothed even in cold weather, while fresh lemon juice brightens and cleanses. This one warms you up like a hot drink"; 3 sizes $11.50 - $38). Also new, and I don't think a reissue, Elf Shake Shower Gel ("This fruity shake gets skin glowing with fresh, vitamin-rich apple, kiwi, grape and lime juices. A hint of fresh mint infusion brightens and invigorates, while the essential oil blend gives a fruity, sour gumball scent that fills the shower and smells delicious on the skin").

I love turmeric lattes (I think I’m a bit late to the party on that one) and my two favorites have been made by small coffeeshops on the San Juan Islands (a bit inconvenient to indulge in regularly, unfortunately). Anyway, I’ll give this a try if I ever get to a Lush store.

I am even later, I have never had one other than homemade milky turmeric tea, which I doubt is the same as what they serve in coffee shops 🙂

I have tried the Turmeric Latte body spray thanks to a kind NSTer, and it’s quite nice.

I second what Robin said. The Tumeric Latte body spray is on the higher end of pricing for body sprays and I believe it is because of the ingredients. It is super excellent.

I bought Hot Toddy shower gel last year, it smells very cinnamony and it’s strong. A little goes a long way. I didn’t care for the micro glitter which is always on the bottom no matter how hard I shake, but the scent itself is very Christmas-like.

Just ordered the Turmeric Latte and Elf Shake. FYI the U.S. website has less than 10 bottles in stock right now for each size of the Turmeric Latte.

    Robin +2 😁

I’m hoping they will get it at Fashion Valley.
