Maison Francis Kurkdjian has launched 724, a new unisex fragrance. 724 is reportedly a relaunch / reworking of 754, a 2012 Bergdorf Goodman exclusive.
In the light of a pure sky rising over the city ascends the elegant silhouette of 724. Urban landscapes and their surrounding architecture overtly influenced the graphic aesthetic of this musky floral eau de parfum. Luminous, vibrant and comfortably addictive, 724 invites you to feel the city rhythm.
In the top notes, a fresh, urban accord is perceived. It is the sensation of clean, energizing freshness, formed of bergamot from Italy and the verticality of aldehydes with sophisticated, slightly metallic, effervescent facets. At the heart of this fragrance lies an airy aura conveyed by a bouquet of flowers structured by jasmine absolute from Egypt, sweet pea and mock orange. In the base notes, this universe of whiteness surrenders to an enveloping, comforting sensation thanks to a sandalwood and white musk accord.
"There is something about big cities that sweeps over you, electrifies you, elevates you. I translated that communicative energy, that life pulsating in unison, into a fragrance." — Francis Kurkdjian
Maison Francis Kurkdjian 724 is available in 35, 70 and 200 ml Eau de Parfum.

Do the numbers mean anything? Also, this reads like world salad. I will try it though when I see it in passing.
I just checked, and Bergdorf’s address in Manhattan is 754 5th Ave. 724 on 5th has a Prada shop on the ground floor—so perhaps originally it was a signifier for BG, but now it is just a number? Numerologists may beg to differ!
Yes, it was the BG address, and perhaps he just changed 1 number so people who liked that fragrance would recognize it was the same (or reworked) product??
I don’t even pay attention to building addresses!
Yep as soon as I saw ‘light of a pure sky’ I was like..white musk alert lol. I just can’t do much of the common, modern, white musks, which I think could be generally galaxolide but not sure. Interestingly, galaxolide is very toxic to aquatic life.
Yep, and “universe of whiteness” doesn’t help either.
*** Warning: A rant and negativity ahead ***
I want a relaunch of Absolue Pour le Soir instead!! APlS was this sublime, raunchy, animalic sweet amber that apparently didn’t sell like hotcakes for MFK. Why didn’t it sell? Cos common people have have basic, banal, unadventurous sensibilities, that’s why!!!!!
