Maison Francis Kurkdjian 754

Maison Francis Kurkdjian will launch 754, a new unisex fragrance celebrating the 111th anniversary of Bergdorf Goodman in New York City:

Created exclusively for Bergdorf Goodman by Maison Francis Kurkdjian. "754" custom fragrance, inspired by Bergdorf Goodman and conceived to capture the allure and vitality of New York City. Masterfully blended with notes of citrus, florals and musk, this sensual and fresh unisex eau de parfum is an olfactory evocation of a bright blue Manhattan morning.

Maison Francis Kurkdjian 754 is available now for pre-order at Bergdorf Goodman, 71 ml Eau de Parfum for $300.

71ml – $300 for citrus floral and musk…uhum…no thank you.

It’s pricey, but that seems fitting for BG, right? Not something I’ll be buying though.

I read somewhere recently that 754 smells similar to his / MFK Aqua Universalis.

I’d rather stay with my samples of MFK Amyris Femme & Homme than go for this 754 number. Yawn!

I’ll stick with my refrigerated 200ml of Chanel’s Eau de Cologne for a few bucks less. In terms of citrus floral musk, for me it’s tops.

Ha…I’ll stick with my even cheaper Eau de Guerlain ;-)

I need to seek this one out, Robin! I own – and LOVE – Fleurs de Cedrat and Cologne Imperiale but I’ve never even sniffed Eau de Guerlain. Me think I’d like it from what I’ve heard.

EdG was my favorite. I do need to go smell a new bottle & see what’s been done to it in the last couple years. It had a lot of oakmoss so has probably been redone, but I’ve heard it’s still fine.

71ml? Seems an odd amount. Wholeheartedly agree that $300 for citrus floral based on Manhattan. Anyway, isnt that Bond territory?

It really is odd — usually it’s 75 ml.

I’m a part time, work from home proofreader. Was “Bergdorf Goofman” in the first sentence intentional? If so, I like it.

Best laugh I’ve had all day. Love the Goofman.
A part-time, work-from-home proofreader is a much-needed commodity in the world today, enhanced only by an afinity for hyphenating compound modifiers.

I know I was careless in my post. I just really wanted to say I loved Goofman.

Love the bottle and package it comes within. Sounds like a lovely perfume. But for $300? I am sure, I can find something excat the same and for much less.

Beloved, the Amouage fragrance sold exclusively through Bergdorf’s, is one of my least favorites of that line. I want to read several reviews & test before I commit to 754. With Coco Noir coming out today and several other interesting fragrances on the way, I want to spend my perfume dollars wisely.

I was fortunate enough to visit NY a few weeks ago & popped into the Bergdorf Goodman store. Wow, how the other half lives is all I can say! Anyhow a very nice lady handed us a card spritzed with the 754 fragrance & it is truly divine! Myself & my friend kept having a good old sniff at every opportunity & I have just taken the card out of my bag and it stills smells gorgeous!
Only downside is the price, however if money were no object then I wouldnt hesitate in buying it!
