Guerlain is repackaging the Aqua Allegoria line with an eye towards sustainability (including new refillable bottles), and will introduce Nerolia Vetiver in February.
Nerolia Vetiver was developed by perfumers Delphine Jelk and Thierry Wasser. Notes for the floral fragrance include neroli, basil, fig accord and vetiver.
Guerlain Nerolia Vetiver will be available in 75 and 125 ml Eau de Toilette and in a 200 ml refill. The new bottles feature 15% recycled glass, and the alcohol in the formula will come from organic farming.

The way to make the bottles sustainable is to sell refills.
Also note that Nono of the actual scents o the juice are promised to be the result of organic or sustainable farming. I wonder if they will even be the result of farming.
Reportedly they have been working to make the AA line “up to” 95% natural origin, but of course “up to” is not very specific, nor really is “natural origin”. Still, looks like they’re trying to update, like most big brands.
This reminds me of an infuriating conversation with someone at While Foods. For a short time each year, figs are available. Even though I do not eat the skin, I still only buy organic as the skin is very penetrable. While Foods is also usually good about marking their produce. When I did not see signs for the fig, I asked if the ones for sale were organic. The guy looked at me and said all fruits are organic. I gave him a look and my eyes said ? (I was masked) and he realized his mistake and admitted to not knowing.
That’s really ridiculous!
This sounds worth a sniff.
I wonder where this will be available?
Does anyone know?
Usually AAs take a bit to filter out into the world, but right now you can find last year’s Flora Salvaggia & Nettare di Sole just about anywhere — Macy’s, Bloomingdales, Nordstrom, Amazon, etc.
Thanks!
Saks for sure.
Agreeing with sunnlitt! This one has piqued my curiosity.
Mine too!
