It’s Monday and the 10th day of Christmas (lords a-leaping), plus National Chocolate Covered Cherry Day. Birthdays: Lucretia Mott and John Ronald Reuel Tolkien. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in Dawn Spencer Hurwitz Ruby Candlelight.
Reminder: on 1/7, wear a fragrance to match Very Peri, Pantone's color of the year for 2022. ("Displaying a carefree confidence and a daring curiosity that animates our creative spirit, inquisitive and intriguing PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri helps us to embrace this altered landscape of possibilities, opening us up to a new vision as we rewrite our lives. Rekindling gratitude for some of the qualities that blue represents complemented by a new perspective that resonates today, PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri places the future ahead in a new light. We are living in transformative times. PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri is a symbol of the global zeitgeist of the moment and the transition we are going through.")
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2022, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.
Note: top image is the Pantone Balancing Act color palette: "Balancing Act is a complementary palette of color whose natural balance of warm and cool tones support and enhance one other. The brilliance of PANTONE 17-3938 Very Peri is intensified within this artfully calibrated palette, injecting a feeling of liveliness and visual vibration."
My SOTD is Dzongkha, since we have finally got cooler weather in Texas. It is currently 29 degrees, with a high of 53 predicted. Not so bad, I know, to you in the north and northeast, but a big change from Saturday’s high of 83. I am back to work after a short vacation, and my office temperature is sitting at 61 degrees. I need to figure out why my thermostat never seems to work.
The climate control system in my building does not allow manual adjustment of the room thermostats. Naturally, this “centralization” does not actually ensure a comfortable temperature in any of our classrooms or offices. Also naturally, we are discouraged from bringing in any space heaters when our rooms become uncomfortably cold; instead, we have to fill out an online work request, and wait. 🙂
Bundle up, PriscillaE, and smell good!
its not nice, if the air conditioning doesnt work. Mine started to cool down my already cool office today.
We fill those online work requests out as well, and then they come and explain to us why it’s impossible to fix the building temps. So I just keep a sweater and blanket handy. At least, that’s what I did back in the day when I worked at the office!
You smell great!
Ditto!
Fingerless gloves are the way to go. I hope you get heat soon!
It’s colder in Houston than in NJ!
My theory is that building temperatures are controlled by Maintenance, who sit in tiny, stuffy basement offices wearing layers of guy clothing.
? You may just be right!
That would just figure, wouldn’t it?
I went to Yves Rocher and got a bunch of the Orange Fondante shower gel, 3 400-mL bottles at $4 each, which ought to last me a while. It smells exactly like the 2010 limited-edition Orange & Chocolat, which is to say it smells like a Terry’s Chocolate Orange or a simplified version of Fendi Theorema. Luckily, they made an edt version in 2010, and luckily, I bought it, so I’m wearing that today. It’s so nice. I can’t understand why CSP has never done a version: it’s exactly in their wheelhouse, you’d think, since they’ve already done a chocolate scent and an orange scent, and it would sell like gangbusters, you know it would.
I have the scrub in that scent and like it. Also the candle, which is on sale now. I hadn’t looked at the size when I bought it. Price is more in line with what it should be now…it smells great, but was pricier than expected.
I will vote for the CSP too!
And thanks for the reminder, just ordered a bunch of YR shower stuff.
I have three YR shower gels on the way too plus a votive candle. I jumped on it last week after I read about their sale here.
I hope we all like our shower gels — I do hate a bad shower gel.
I’m excited for my YR Melting Chocolate shower gel and votive candle to arrive! I never tried their 2010 edition, but chocolate and orange sounds like it will hit the spot.
Good morning. New week already!? Chocolate Covered Cherry Day sounds right up my street. Cherry is one of my absolute favourite fruits and I can never resist chocolate!
Sotd is JM Myrrh and Tonka.
Currently drinking rose tea, extra rosy.
I am drinking my third cup of chai, extra spicy 🙂
You smell great!
Seconding cazaubon – you smell great today!
Thirding that you smell great! And now I want some chocolate covered cherries… ??
I am wearing L’Artisan Mont de Narcisse and drinking my second cup of Shalimar tea.
Oh drat, now I want Shalimar tea again.
I really like Mont de Narcisse. I think it’s very similar to their limited edition Fleur de Narcisse from years ago.
It’s a sort of solemn first day back at work after winter break as quite a few students are quarantined or have tested positive. I am trying to have a good attitude about 2022, but I’m struggling!
I’m in FM Superstitious, which has grown on me over time. Perhaps 2022 will, too, if I give it a chance.
The struggle is real, I’m right there with you! As my daughter is virtual this week.☹️
So real. Good luck this week!
I am choosing to believe those who say the pandemic will burn itself out by spring. Please don’t disabuse me of the notion.
Meanwhile, good wishes to irisjasmine and madtowngirl!
I thought that Superstitious was wonderful the first time I smelled it. That perfume was the one which helped me to “get” aldehydes.
Yay for 10 hours sleep! Still a holiday at the house of cosmetics and fragrances. As a consultant I don’t get paid, but that’s ok. I have the delicious day.
Still in robe and having coffee. Lots of small errands after manor house clean and yeah, I dropped a glass down the garbage disposal. Oye ve. Have been using tongs and headlamp to pull pieces out. Five minutes at a time, that’s my threshold.
Something wintry and spicy today, maybe Caravan Spice.
Oh no! Sorry to hear about the glass. My daughter sent some gravel down the drain while cleaning out the fishbowl once upon a time, so I know your pain!
Ugh — good luck getting that glass out!
Stopping by to say: headlight flashlights are the cat’s meow. Everyone should own one, or four! Pop by your local big box home improvement store and get them! No affiliation, BTW! 😀
I have had driving adventures all over NYC today, and not in a good way. I have now had the dubious pleasure of backing down a one-way street at other cars’ urging in order to avoid an altercation involving a FedEx truck, all while having so much stuff in my car that I couldn’t see out the rear-view mirror! Good thing I was wearing Ormonde Woman to see me through the stress. Hope everyone is enjoying 2022!
You were absolutely wearing the best scent protection possible for that outing. Hope the day gets better and better!
It has!
Hope your day improves!
Thank you, it’s already better.
You smell amazing – good job with the backing down a one-way street. Hope things improve from here!
I am Woman, hear me roar!
I hear! Back up with full car, oh yah!
Ok, in the spirit of it could be worse, my sister, who was driving with her husband, her son, her dog and her cat, broke down on the NJ turnpike this morning and is now in a hotel and having trouble finding anybody who can fix her car any time soon.
But still, sorry about your mishaps, that does not sound fun!
Oh no! I am sorry to hear about your sister and the whole human and other-animal family! I hope they find someone to fix the car SOON!
Ack! I hope that your sister can get back on the road soon Robin.
As soon as I post this, I’m headed downstairs for a second double espresso. I’m following apsara’s lead, and staying in my jammies while that happens.
Today’s scent is Amour le Parfum — the one in the gold bottle — and it’s my absolute favorite of the Amour line (granted, I haven’t tested every single flanker, but I’ve managed to sample a few). It’s industrial strength, somewhat like L’Elephant in that regard, so one only needs a little spritz to last for hours and hours. It’s like the original Amour, with some vintage Opium vibes added into the mix. I smell marvelous.
That was a nice one, and such great bottles.
SOTD is Chanel 19 EDP, after my stepson mentioned it somewhat facetiously yesterday — he thought he was inventing an improbable perfume name by using a number larger than “Chanel Number 5” which, of course, is the only one most people have heard of. I told him there actually IS a Number 19 and that it’s one of my favorites. I did NOT tell him about the plethora of other numbered Chanel fragrances — I don’t think he would have believed me. 🙂
And he picked a good one!
He made an excellent choice, you smell wonderful.
LOL at your stepson, and his adorable misapprehension of just how many Chanel perfumes there are. 🙂
Great story!
Excellent perfume pick, especially for the first Monday of the year!
Currently in no 5 extrait while heading out to a doctor’s appointment. After yesterday’s fiasco of my grandmother being missing/lost yesterday, I needed a little comfort today.
Yikes. I think I missed that part when I was scanning through the weekend’s comments. I hope everything turned out okay and Grammy is safe and sound.
Gosh, I missed this too! I hope your grandma is safely home now. What a scare!
Oh boy! I hope she’s okay now.
Oh no! Hope she is fine at home now.
That sounds scary!
Oh my gosh, how scary! Hope she’s ok!
I hope your grandmother is home safe and sound!
Oy vey! Scary! I hope that your Grandma is safe and sound now.
It got very cold here in my neck of the woods, suddenly donning gloves and hat when just two days ago I didn’t even need a jacket (altho layers). Undecided on my SOTD, I may just default to some Chanel, or I may try the Child samples that I still have, a floral-y scent may be just what I need today.
Your weather sounds exactly like what I had!
Back to work today, virtually. My work has told me to work from home for the next two weeks. The students are back on campus, but having classes virtually for the next two weeks. I get it, but I don’t. So they’ll be spreading germs amongst themselves in the dorms but not in classes? At least it’s better than both. Things are just confusing now I guess.
Well, I am glad to be working from home. Drinking a chocolate rose tea today, it’s rather weak so I’m glad it’s only a sampler pack.
I jotted down every perfume I wore in 2021! I’m working on trying to get it to a state where I can easily “compute” it for some fun stats. Quite sure that, just by glancing at the list, Guerlain would be the most worn house, closely followed by Chanel. Stay tuned!
Oh fun, look forward to hearing your stats!
And yes, better not to think about it — just enjoy working at home.
Wearing Narciso White Cube from a mini, that one nice NST member from Europe sent me in the freebie meet some years ago. This almost. makes me like Gardenia.
Aftelier’s Cuir de Gardenia is the one that made me like gardenia — generally, it’s a scent I love in flower form but find very hard to wear. With Cuir de Gardenia, the salty-buttery leather cuts the sweetness nicely and the effect is very sexy and close to the skin.
I love White Cube, you smell great!
I’m not very peri today in Hippie Rose, and thinking I may do a week of roses to ease back into working after two weeks off, and to start the New Year off on a sweet note. So far I’ve managed one hour of digging out my inbox and swatting out a few figurative fires, and now I think I’m going to pile some compost on the asparagus bed and take a few deep, outdoor breaths before re-engaging with it all.
It’s never fun to get back to the email avalanche after vacation. Good luck this week and you smell great!
Oooooooooooh, you have an asparagus bed? Yum!
It came with my rental home! My first spring here, I noticed something weird poking up along the back fence, and it was asparagus! Long neglected, but well established. I feed it a big blanket of compost every winter and it rewards me handsomely all spring, except for this past year when we had frost into May and most of the shoots froze and withered.
In Tom Ford Lost Cherry on this cloudy, freezing day.
Back to work in the office and having a crazy, busy day. On my third cup of coffee and counting the hours to be out of here.
Happy Monday! ?
Opposites on the weather. We had to keep the doors and windows wide open all night to try and cool down enough to sleep. Warm and tacky. Hope you have a happy week!
Glad you finally got some heat!
Thank you, Kanuka!
I wish I could trade the weather with you!
You smell yummy!
Thank you, Cazaubon!
Did you get any snow today? Or just the cold? ?⛄
No snow at all. Only cloudy, still very windy and brutally cold. ?
You smell wonderful today!
Thank you! ?
Summer was here for a day so I headed out to the botanic gardens to walk amongst the roses. For the first time ever I noticed a combination of rose and very sweet candy cane peppermint from some of the blooms. Then on to the herb garden where all the specimens were in full flower, accompanied by the buzzing of bees and insects. One of the most prolific chamomile plants was called Dyers’ Chamomile so I looked it up, to see how it was used.
http://www.wildcolours.co.uk/html/dyers_chamomile.html
As I walked I plucked leaves, crushed them and put them in my pocket, not really aware of the combinations or the fact that my spare face mask was also in my pocket . Later, I took it out when I went to the supermarket and it smelled like sage, chamomile and tarragon.
Wearing California Chocolate this morning as Pyramus mentioned a Terry’s Chocolate Orange which this reminds me of, and Jaffa Cakes.
I never knew that chamomile could serve as a dye!
It’s surprising to me that scented masks haven’t been more of a thing.
Lyn Harris’s Perfumer H does sell Mask First Aid:
“This product has a 100% natural fragrance and has been created to be sprinkled onto the mask to freshen and invigorate the senses and bring some happiness to this important ritual that is part of our life today.”
https://www.perfumerh.com/cucumber-mask-first-aid/
I’d hesitate to apply anything to my higher grade masks, which partly work because of an electrostatic charge. Letting the mask absorb scent as you did should be OK, though.
Happy New Year NozKnoz! We’re still in the incredible position of not having any Covid cases here ( southern part of the country) for over a year so although we have to wear masks inside ( supermarkets, shops, University, businesses etc) most people still opt for cloth masks at this stage. Once omicron gets past the border I expect to see more higher grade masks, plus compulsory outdoor usage. The country is about 92% vaccinated ( eligible population, not children) at this stage.
NZ has done so well, but don’t sleep on Omicron. It’s so contagious! Please try to have N95s, KN95s, or KF94s on hand if at all possible.
Wishing you all the best in 2022, Kanuka!
The scent in your mask sounds lovely!
So glad you had a summer day!
I had California Chocolate on yesterday morning (from a sample). It was pretty orangey upfront and then settled nicely into the subtle chocolate.
Sounds like you had a lovely day!
A peppermint rose in bloom sounds marvelous! ?
Back to work (but still in my home “office” = corner of our living room) in a sample of Indult Reve en Cuir. I’m generally not a huge leather fan, and this one will not turn into a bottle either, but it’s nice. I’m looking forward to reading our Donatella confessions tomorrow. And also hoping for a small break in the rain today so I can get a walk in!
Donatella is going to get a bit of an earful from me. I fell off the wagon last quarter…
How nice to have an herbal scented mask ?
Oops the mask comment is for Kanuka.
It was lovely. I came away thinking I must try and put in a proper herb garden at my home instead of just pots.
I’m in Chanel no 18 from a sample I forgot I had. Lovely.
We have blue skies and sun today, but it’s cold. Guess we can’t have everything. ?
No 18 is such a nice one when you need something low key. You smell great today!
Blue sky and sun here too!
I am still going to complain about the cold and snow though!
Wearing TF Noir for men. I really like this one but I have a mini to dab from and it would wear better if it was sprayed. I might top it with Cabochard later this afternoon.
Beautiful sunny, cold day with plenty of snow on the ground, just as January should be. Have a good day everyone ?
Hoping that all the places that need snow get it this winter!
I think the Sierra bears are going to be happy this year!
I’m wearing Shalimar MVP for another rainy day, so I’ll stay in and hand knit another blanket. Even though they are quick to make, I’m getting a head start on next years Xmas gifts. I don’t want to have a lapful of yarn in August.
Good for you, thinking ahead!
I’m in Cuir Ottoman from Parfum d’Empire today.
https://www.instagram.com/p/CYRQ4DNIp-D/?utm_medium=copy_link
You smell fabulous, and I may join you in this choice today!
You smell great!
I love Cuir Ottoman and happily bought a bottle at the beginning of last year. You smell really good.
I’m in a few spritzes of Mon Guerlain Intense and will likely spray on more soon. It’s lovely.
That’s my favorite version of Mon Guerlain.
Mine too!
Another fabulous day here in Wellington. Like Kanuka, we’re finding it very hot at night – we’re really not used to this. I was sitting on the couch all hot and sticky at 8am!!!
I’ve been able to wear all my lightest summery dresses, most of which I didn’t wear at all last summer.
We’ll be out for a walk shortly, I’m going to wear a white silk dress with black roses. I made it last summer and never got the weather to wear it. I’ll accompany it with Armani Rose Alexandrie, a lovely light rose.
Your dress and perfume sound beautiful!
Great perfume/clothing combo!
Mmmm, that all sounds so lovely. I miss summer frocks. And seeing my legs.
We had a surprise snowstorm this morning in the DC area! (There were forecasts last night, but no one believed them because it was 60 degrees yesterday.) Very beautiful with snow-covered tree branches, though not great for anyone who did have to commute or who lost power due to falling trees and branches.
Fortunately, I am stocked up on everything and was able to cancel appointments and enjoy the beauty. We’d had hardly any snow since 2019.
I think I’ll join Lucas in PdE Cuir Ottoman.
Glad that the snow didn’t cramp your style today! ⛄
I don’t mind that periwinkle color but honestly isn’t that color palette they are calling lively, transitional, and invigorating kind of lackluster and dated? Every color in the set is drab and lifeless.
I’m no too keen on them either. The pink and lilac looks like 80’s colors, and the other two in that row remind me of 70’s colors. But then again, I’m the gal who takes five years to pick a paint color…
I suppose they seem brighter to the people who bought into the “everything in shades of grey” craze and now live in grey houses with grey walls, grey floors, grey rugs, etc etc etc. To me they seem pretty greyed down themselves. I like the elderberry one, myself, but all the rest seem diluted with dullness…. give me bright sky blue, bright pink like pink crabapple flowes, a real lilac color, a real rose color…oh, well, can’t make everyone happy all the time…
Oh, I think you’re right about the “shades of gray” business. Well observed. I watch a lot of home remodeling shoes on HGTV and it drives me crazy how all the new remodels are black, white, and gray. And what on earth are they thinking when they put all white furniture in those homes, that people don’t have kids, pets, or sometimes want to drink red wine? Grrrr. I’m totally with you on REAL colors! Lol!
I tend to gravitate to Boho Librarian decorating schemes. Everything needs to be a bright color so that it doesn’t get lost in the piles of books. 🙂
Maybe Pantone thinks that’s as much color as people can handle at the moment, having lived in the grey shadow of COVID for several years now? I prefer more brightness as well.
Not related to the colours but wanted to say that I also laughed often while watching Don’t Look Up. Really enjoyed all the performances. By contrast, I found House of Gucci over long, with too much filler and overacting by some.
Oh good! I just watched The Lost Daughter last night, and really enjoyed it too.
I thought a lot of those other colors were muddy.
I think they would be flattering tones to wear, but not great for rooms. I always find blue rooms depressing (unless turquoise). Periwinkle has a bit more energy than most but it’s also kind of heavy. I couldn’t take a wall in that color.
Yes, I would wear that pink one.
Hawthorn Rose might make for a lovely lipstick color.
Very Peri invites me to wear iris fragrances all week, and I’m very tempted to do so! I started out the morning in Modern Muse Le Rouge Gloss, so I could finish up and post my monthly Scent Semantics contribution with my blogger collaborators (thank you, Portia, for organizing us!) but I think I’ll switch over to Tiffany & Co. Intense for the afternoon and evening.
I do love that periwinkle color. I’m a sucker for a pretty shade of blue or purple.
Mmmm — iris!
Seconding that Mmmm, although I’ve been having a hard time wearing iris lately as it wears a bit melancholy on me, and my baseline level of melancholy has been too high. A shame, because it’s one of my most favorite notes.
I was thinking about iris as a match for Very Peri, too. Haven’t been able to come up with anything else so far.
Very Peri looks lavender to me as well but of course, iris is tops on my list!
I’m in Alahine today, and trying to like it. I know lots of folks love this one, but it’s a little too biiig for me. Too much ylang I think. The drydown is nice though.
I need to get the Wild One to the dog park quickly so we avoid the usual crowd. She *really* needs to air it out!
My two (nearly grown) kittens are used to going out and hanging out on the kitchen porch. I let them out today and went up to take my shower, and when I came back to check, they were very eager to come back inside! A bit too cold even for a body covered in long fur!
Your new kitties are so pretty! Yes, it was cold today, but the wind wasn’t blowing at least.
There used to be more people commenting about Alahiiiiiiiiiiiiine! here.
I know, complete with the mental image of people swinging on trapezes while crying, “Alahiiiiiiiiiiine!!!”
Or a Tarzan yell!
I’m wearing the latest LPRN flanker, Nectar. It is supposed to smell like macaron… not sure about that, but it is delicious.
Good to know. It looked like it would smell good, but wasn’t sure.
Oooh, I have to try this!
I’m feeling clever for thinking to wear Tiger’s Nest to celebrate the Chinese Year of the Tiger (though it isn’t actually for another month). This fragrance is fierce!
You are clever! Good choice!
Rawr! ??
SOTD is Chanel No 5 Eau Premier.
I have about 7-10 fragrances for Spring/Summer and about the same number for Fall/Winter. Just curious if others think it is a good idea to have from a variety of different scents such as citrus, floral, fruity, oriental, woody, etc. or if it is ok to have the ones that you are most comfortable in. I ask because I noticed that most of mine are floral with several being BWFs. In current rotation is Eau de Protection, Gucci Bloom, Jo Malone Vintage Gardenia, Jo Malone Blackberry and Bay, TF Black Orchid Parfum, Chanel Eau Premiere, Chanel Coromandel, Dyptique Philosykos, Chanel Coco Noir and Givenchy L’Interdit. I feel like many are kind of the same, but still different if that makes sense. I probably need to branch out more.
I say if you love it wear it!
I think most of what you listed smell different from each other. They are all wonderful!
Wear what you love! If that’s BWFs, then rock them!
I’ve noticed that I have only 1 citrus perfume in my collection because most citrus doesn’t play well with my chemistry. No shame in that.
Also adding to the “wear what you love” chorus!
Thanks for your comments. I do have a few fruity and citrus scents that I wear, but I think I am kind of a floral girl☺
I should have posted this morning while I was still in a positive mood. My stupid check engine light came on this afternoon. It might as well be a dollar sign light. I wish it would at least tell me if it’s “super urgent” lol. I will take it by the shop tomorrow but was already told it probably won’t get fixed tomorrow.
Anyway… I am wearing Paris edt, because I am trying to usher in Spring! ( hey.. it could happen)
??⚘???
Ugh! I hate the ‘pay money’ light. It’s on in our vehicle too. Hopefully it’ll be something easy or cheap.
Maybe this time it will be something simple and cheap?
lillyjo, you pegged it: cars should be honest and have $$ lights! At chez Mossy we just had an encounter with dashboard lights: one just needed air in the tires and the other needed $$$!
Oh no! I hope it is still safe to drive! I just realized I missed an oil change but it can definitely wait a few months if needed.
It’s a cold Monday here, with only a bit of nuisance snow to show for it. There’s less than an inch on the grass.
Robin, when I said I was going to double-mask in stores now, I meant that I would be wearing one of those blue surgical masks under my 2 layer cloth masks. I don’t have any KN-95 masks yet.
SOTD = more Agent Provocateur EdP. Works when there’s snow on the ground, too!
We have welcomed Winter here, too: stay warm, Jalapeno!
Got my thick wool socks out for the occasion!
And to answer your weekend question, yes, I do enjoy Angel quite a bit. I’ve even worn the EdP during the height of a New Jersey summer. Its over-the-topness is part of the charm.
Which is a huge turnaround from the first time I smelled it!
I wish I could double mask, but found I actually can’t breathe well with more than one.
I found that the blue mask actually makes wearing the cloth mask a little easier for me.
I haven’t double-masked yet (this go-around) but when I go out this weekend, I will be. I have a ton of KN95 and can send you some to tide you over. Have you tried Costco?
I did check at my local Costco before Christmas. Nada. Some of the usual things Mr. Jalapeno and I get were also out, so it seems to be the luck of the draw.
If you feel comfortable sending me some KN95’s, I won’t refuse the offer. But I don’t really have to get out into the world, so if you need them for your commute, then save them. Does that sound fair?
AP is great in cold weather! We were hoping for some snow last week, but the precip and the coldest part of the cold snap didn’t align.
Ah, gotcha.
I sprayed myself silly with Aromatics Elixir; the scent is still hovering nicely around me about 8 hours later.
I’ve seen people make huge dents in bottles and noticed that they spray themselves at least 8 or 10 times plus their clothes on top of that. Seems perfectly reasonable to me!
Ha ha — no argument with that! But, I’m a one-to-two sprays girl, and I’ve never finished a bottle of anything.
You smell like heaven in your AE!
Yay! Someone else who is in the “1 – 2 sprays” club! I was starting to feel a little lonely…
I’m with you! 1 or 2 is often more than enough for me. 🙂
You smell wonderful!
✋ 8 sprayer here but I actually avoid spraying on clothes / accessories!
Enjoying the last day of my four day weekend with a cider and an Italian thriller from the 70s (a giallo) after braving the on again/off again rain, snow, and hail mix that was going on earlier for a grocery trip. Dinner tonight is leftover pizza from our favorite neighborhood spot and either Lethal Weapon or My Cousin Vinny. Can you believe I’ve never actually watched them? Maybe I watched Lethal Weapon once a long time ago, but I don’t remember it. Should be fun no matter which we choose, I think.
SOTD: Parfums Quartana Hemlock
oh! I hope you do watch My Cousin Vinny a some point, it’s well worth the time. 🙂
Yes, if we don’t watch it tonight, we’ll definitely watch it soon!
I have never seen either of them, so I can believe it!
SotD = Tam Dao EdT from a sample
Chiming in late to say you all smell lovely. 🙂
I’m happy about the Friday CP. I adore periwinkle. Such a happy color. I’m sure I’ll wear Apres L’ondee for my match with it.
Aprés l’Ondée is a perfect match! Also possibly (lowers voice so that perfume collection can’t hear) my favorite fragrance in the whole world.
🙂
Oh, Apres l’Ondee is a perfect match!
Hey there tiffanie!
Hey tiffanie. Glad to see you posting!
You smell lovely too and have a great CP plan!
SOTD = 4160Tuesdays Hammersmith Tea & Biscuits EDP
What better time than to get started on my perfume haul! Today’s offering is Hammersmith Tea & Biscuits: tea, milk, vanilla and a little bit of citrus up top. I wore my usual 8 sprays which lasted just a little bit over 8 hours. Next time, I may double it!
https://www.instagram.com/hajusuuri/p/CYSjRKiO6bd/?utm_medium=copy_link
I hope everyone survived the new year festivities whether you celebrated with friends or by yourself with one or more friends of a different species. It’s back to work Monday and I was eager to get restarted as it will be a crazy ride through June!
Crazy work thru June?? ACK!
