Hey, it's Almost-Friday, plus Waffle Day and the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Birthdays today: Flannery O’Connor, Gloria Steinem, Sarah Jessica Parker, Aretha Franklin. What fragrance are you wearing?
I bet somebody can guess my scent just from today's picture, before I even post the attribution for the image...? But if nobody does, I will post another clue this afternoon. Update: too easy, of course I'm in Diptyque Philosykos.
Reminder: 3/26 will be Guessing Game Friday, edition 4. Describe your perfume to us, OR, give your perfume the name it ought to have had, and we'll see if we can guess what it is. Suggested by Glannys.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2021, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Good morning Y’all,
Back in Rebecca Minkoff today….I keep coming back to it week after week. Such a nice tobacco vibe on a cool rainy day! Me likey!
It’s a really lovely scent! You smell great!
In SL Nuit de Cellophane.
Warm, cloudy day. Very busy work week. Started my day at 5am, so I am on my third plain cup of coffee with a piece of peach pie. Anxiously looking forward to a walk at lunch time, so I can have at least some fresh air.
Happy almost Friday, everyone! ?
Ugh to 5 am, yay to peach pie, and hope you get a lovely walk later!
Thank you, Robin! It was an enjoyable walk. The sun is out now. Gorgeous day!
Yay for sunny walk, coffee and peach pie!
Double yay for peach pie! My lord, I can’t wait for July…
Passing you some in the meantime! ?
I never have a longer lunch time, so sadly no walk during the day. Enjoy it
Thank you Tannina! It was a short, but great walk today.
Yes to peach pie- and I feel your 5 am wake up woes!
Two days in a row already of 5am. Looking forward to the weekend already!
I’d get up at 5 am every day if it involved peach pie.
Lol! No doubts is worthy! ??
Blergh for the 5am wakeup! That’s harsh. Hope the coffee and the peach pie are sustaining you until dinner.
Counting the hours for Friday to be over! Peach pie and coffee were of big help!
If there is any left, I will take a slice ?
Still some left! ?
Passing you a big slice! ??
Robin, is your scent Philosykos? That looks like a fig tree to me. SOTD is Apres l’Ondee.
I’m guessing Philosykos also.
Of course it is!
Morning all!
SOTD is Opardu. This is as close to smelling lilacs as it’s going to get this year. I love it!
Robin, I’m guessing you’re wearing Philosykos…
Yep.
You smell gorgeous!
Thank you Petunia!
Guessing game
To me, a very expensive baby powder from a house that does french perfumery well but not located in France
Tempted to say Tart’s Knicker Drawer, but don’t know whether 4160 Tuesdays counts as French Style, but not in France…
Nope:
Hint: this is their symbol ?
Is it an Amouage?
Yes!
Guessing game:
A creature who once was a perfume ingredient but is now the name of a perfume.
Zoologist Musk Deer?
Bat? Just kidding… Civet?
Ding Ding Ding! Civet
If not Civet, Hyrax?
Happy Almost-Friday! I think Robin is wearing Philosykos…
As for me, when today’s perfume was young, she modeled in Timotei shampoo commercials — all lush meadows and shining hair and strapping men on horseback — but it wasn’t long before the trope of cantering off on the back of a man’s horse began to gall. Nowadays she walks the catwalk for only the biggest houses for Paris and Milan fashion weeks, but mostly she can’t be bothered. She’d rather be at home, being a brilliant inventor, or tending her iris garden. She’s five foot ten and flawless even when dishevelled. She still rides her white horse bareback through the meadows, alone and content. Her favorite drink is champagne; her favorite color is green; her favorite position is CEO.
Is it No. 19?
I was stumped but that has to be it. Good call even if it’s wrong.
It is indeed! As someone who’s five foot one and disheveled even when I’ve made the best of efforts, No. 19 is basically a corrective for me.
Philosykos is right!
My scent is a note that is love/hate for many, but the house it comes from is not. Final clue: someone on this board just bought themselves a bottle of this, I believe…
Happy Thursday!
Hmm…
Is it Le Participe Passe for the love/hate immortelle note?
I gotta try that one! Love immortelle!
Sintra?
Try less niche-y.
No, and no. Apologies, I thought this was super easy!
Is it Iris Torrefie? Only thinking of it since I just bought a bottle and the house clue seems to fit. But I don’t think of iris as being too polarizing.
nope, but another one I’d like to try eventually!
Coromandel?
Ding! Ding! Ding!
You got it!
Woke up in Courtesan this morning and now in vintage no 19 edp. Need a little extra backbone while at work.
Hey twin! Hope it effectively works its magic.
Trying two from a MIX:BAR discovery set which I believe is a Target exclusive line: Vanilla Bourbon and Tangerine Squeeze and enjoying both. No affiliation…the vanilla always draws me in!
Vanilla Bourbon is not groundbreaking but quite nice and I am glad I got a large hajusuuri sized sample of this one too.
https://www.fragrantica.com/news/MIX-BAR-A-New-Fragrance-Layering-Brand-For-Target-14790.html
Have you checked out the new Laboratorio Olfattivo?
Vanagloria? I haven’t tried it but saw the article below.
I haven’t tried anything from line I don’t think…is it good?
https://www.fragrantica.com/news/Vanagloria-A-New-Fragrance-by-Laboratorio-Olfattivo-14791.html
That sounds interesting! I think Tiger Lily in SF has the line.
Waffles Day! And I planned a “breakfast” dinner of waffles, eggs and fruit. I’m feeling very on point about this.
Today I’m in Eris Mx. and loving it–woods and spice. This one is my LL Santal 33 (that one has a note that just won’t quit and wears me out). Mx. was one of those samples I just happened to request and it’s the best of the bunch for me. I also received my new Nez and will report on that tomorrow or Saturday. Have a great day, all.
Ooooh, do you mean the Nez magazine or Ambre a Levres? I broke down and ordered a bottle last night. I broke my no buy, but apparently needed at least a cursory glance from Donatella more.
The fragrance! Here’s the short story: I’m really enjoying it.
Trying to encourage spring with a dose of Vivacious.
In yesterday’s thread about chocolate covered raisins, someone mentioned being more in thrall to chocolate covered cherries, which didn’t appeal to me till my introduction to these:
https://cherryrepublic.com/dark-chocolate-covered-cherries/
So good!
Oooh, I can smell you here and it’s lovely <3
I’m from Michigan and some of my oldest friends live there still and sent me a huge bag of these for Christmas. Oh they are SO good!
I’m moving to a very dangerous area….these are everywhere…

I am wearing a perfume named for a French lover.
Casanova? From Histoires de Parfums?
Let’s hope it’s not HdP Marquis de Sade! (joke–another kind of French lover I guess!).
Ha, ha… No! ?
Oops. But Casanova wasn’t French. My bad.
Great guess but no.
Hdp Georges Sand?
Or: Lolita? (eek…)
No. It’s not HdP
Bel Ami?
No, sorry
Colette? 1873?
No. Sorry
Perhaps I should phrased it, A lover of someone French.
Now I am even more confused. ?
Maybe FM French lover?
I guess my clues are too vague. This French person is beloved by perfumostas and fashionistas alike.
Someone iconic.
There isn’t a perfume called Francophile, is there?
Ha, I doubt it!
Had the same thought.
Thérèse???
No. Gosh I thought this would be easy. The founder of this house is no longer living. SHE was a pioneer at time she established this brand.
Chanel Boy? (had to google a little…shame on me).
We have a winner! You are correct!
And I’m sure that we all look things up. ?
Woohoo! Makes me feel so accomplished! (well half accomplished, anyway.)
Wow I didn’t know it was waffle day…I’m wearing imaginary authors waffle cone! Its funny, I guess I wanted a scent that was vanilla, and cone, and that …cold disinfectant? smell that ice cream parlors often have. But I guess no one wants to smell like that! This is good though, it reminds me of something else. Maybe a mild version of spiriteuse double vanille. Spiriteuse pour les enfants?
I love Waffle Cone!
Oh, I forgot about that one. I should buy the travel size unsniffed, I am sure I would love it.
I got a twofer this AM!
I am wearing two perfumes this morning, in part because the one in my hair (it is designed to be applied to hair) does nice things to it. They are from the same house.
The first, apparently, was inspired by a particular aesthetic in the 1920s that itself was inspired by so-called “African culture” (don’t shoot the messenger–that’s what the copy says; it is a little cringy, but the perfume is lovely). The second shares its name with a type of popular fiction.
And if you are wonderful how I am managing all this perfume–to be honest, right at this moment it is a little too much
!
Do you have Bal d’Afrique in your hair and Pulp on your body?
Yes! Exactly so.
PS. I just noticed I wrote “if you are wonderful how. . . ” Well take and run I’d say.

Ha, I’ll take it! You smell great today btw.
Is the house Bond No 9?
Pulp always makes me feel like I’m being extra, but in a good way!
Yup. I was extra extra today in the perfume dept.
Pulp always makes me feel panicked a little bit, but in a good way!
I am wearing a scent by Comme des Garcons whose name matches my bad mood.
Bah! Too many CdGs to sort out which one–but I am sorry about the bad mood. I know the feeling.
Guerrilla? or Black?
Black it is. I picture a little black cloud hovering over my head like in the cartoons.
Oh dear. Well it could be worse. It could be Concrete.

Just trying to make you smile!
Ok that made me snicker.
Aw, so sorry ScentSpirit!
My perfume comes from artisan brand with a month in its name.
The scent however is a unique flower that emerges from the underwater.
Lotus Rising!
That was too easy! >_<
Since it is Flannery O’Connor’s birthday, also wanted to add that the American Masters series on PBS has a new 2 hour episode on her…I’ve just started watching it and so far, so good.
https://www.pbs.org/wnet/americanmasters/stream-flannery-oconnor-documentary/16694/
Thank you for posting this, Robin. I have never heard of this author, and now I want to explore her writings. PBS always does such a good job on documentaries. ?
If you like Southern Gothic, she’s a must read.
Re birthdays, may I please wish Paul Michael Glaser a happy birthday? He’s 78, which I can’t believe. He was my favourite, even though all my friends fancied David Soul – most of my boyfriends were the ‘Starsky’ type – small, slim, dark-haired – but funnily enough not my husband, who’s tall, slim & blond (though now grey & balding, which he says is due in no small part to the 35 years we’ve been together!).
Of course you may, and wow, 78.
He was my favorite too!
Adding, he stared in the movie Houdini which was awesome.
My sotd is like the inside of a new suede handbag in which holds a few sprigs of pink roses. Hint: the design of the bag is crisscrossed leather.
Bottega Veneta???
Yes!
You smell wonderful!
L Air de Rien today, my bottle is almost empty and it’s no more on the Miller Harris website…. I fear they will discontinue this gem. Must buy a BUB fast!!!!
Ok, this is too funny – check out my post below!
It has been hard to find in the US for some time, and as I was deciding if now is the time for me to buy a BUB I noticed it’s been taken off the MH website. So my BUB just arrived yesterday, and I’m thinking of even buying a second. I hope you can still find a BUB for yourself!
I have one in reserve already, it’s a must!
I’m wearing one of my top 5 perfumes today since my back up bottle arrived yesterday. I’ve mentioned it as being a favorite a few times. Tannina also loves it. ? It’s getting harder to find since it was discontinued. From a British brand and created for a gorgeous British actress/model/singer.
L’Air de Rien!
Yes! Tannina and I were in sync today. ?
How funny!
Oh, that’s a bummer hearing that L’Air de Rien has been d/c’ed.
Sampling what I think is one of the more popular scents from a popular themed niche brand that I suspect ringthing is also wearing. Opening reminded me of Serge Lutens Arabie, but now it’s gone more smoky and animalic.
Civet?
No but it is a Zoologist!
Is it Camel?
??Yep!!
Informed by Twitter that it is Elton John’s birthday as well!
For those who tried but didn’t guess the perfume I wore yesterday, it was Cuir de Chine. As it is usually Cuir de Russie that was my first clue and the other fragrance I referred to was Fleur de Chine by Ford.
Today’s fragrance is mostly about one flower that is notoriously hard to do in perfume. The flower in question comes in different colours one of which is referred to in the name of the fragrance.
This flowers name in English refers to another colours it often has.
iris?
Hmm but that is not a color name
Violet something?
Neither
Lilac maybe?
Lilacs is right
A Lilac a Day?
No, remember that the name contains a colours regerende that is not lilac
Regerende =reference
That’s tough…
Totally White?
Any hint for the brand?
Totally White it is!
Is it Narcisse Noir (Caron)?
No, though I would love to try that.
SOTD: Encre Noire
Crazy that it’s Thursday already. Hope to head out for a walk later today with a friend.. no coat needed
I wonder what we’ll find blooming in the park after rain and sun and warmth.
Wow, I have not worn EN in just ages. Must get on the ball.
Enjoy the walk!
My name refers to something Turkish, though my origin is 1,400 miles away.
I’m having the roof de-mossed today (the joys of living in the PNW) and thinking about getting estimates to replace the patio cover. Just think of how much perfume I could buy if I let the house fall into ruins! Of course, then I would have no where to store the perfume…it’s a paradox.
Rahat Loukoum? Though I looked up the distance between France and Turkey and it’s more like 1,700 miles ?
No, sorry.
Cuir Ottoman?
No, sorry.
Istanbul (by Gallivant??)
Not that, either, but good guess!
Traverse de Bosphorus?
So many Turkish references I hadn’t thought of, but Traverse isn’t it.
2nd clue–I was created by a woman.
Odalisque?
And we have a winner, ladies and gents!
(Adanst, Google told me the distance between Paris and Istanbul is 1400 miles. Sorry if that might have thrown you off.)
Oud Ispahan?
Now I am just curious, since I do not live in the PNW — is demossing the roof purely for the look, or are there maintenance issues to letting the moss grow?
The moss roots will eventually eat into the shingles, and we also get bugs living in the moss (silverfish a specialty of the area).
Oh yuck on silverfish! Bletch!
My sentiments precisely.
Aha. Yeah, the silverfish alone would be a good enough reason!
I’m still doing white florals from my new samples and am really impressed with Amouage Love Tuberose. Also liked the Perris Monte Carlo Tuberoses I tried last night, but this is a bit more rich. It’s funny, I can’t stand being around real tuberose flowers–they’re just too potent and almost sickly smelling, but I’m quite a fan of this note in perfume.
which tuberose do you like between the two?
I prefer this Amouage one. It’s just amazing. The Amouage version is buttery and creamy with some vanilla a lot of depth. It also has sandalwood. It has a beautiful buttery gardenia note too. It is smooth smooth smooth! It’s tranquil.
The PMC one is also very interesting but a quite different interpretation that leans more spicy-minty, a fragrance with more angles to it. It includes lavender, cedar, and cardamom. I picked up a very sweet top note of orange blossom, almost too much, really. This is a bit more challenging than the Amouage.
Reading up on both of these, I learned that tuberose was brought to Europe by missionaries from Central America! Very interesting. And it had been used there by the Aztecs.
Honestly, if you like tuberose, you owe it to yourself to try both of these. I’m unlikely to buy them…. so expensive! It’s $400! I’ll probably go for a decant. The PMC is $190. Again, that’s a lot, so another decant is likely, unless I discover a sudden windfall when I do my taxes!
I tried Love Tuberose two years ago and if I hadn’t already bought a huge bottle of Cuir Cannage, I’d have bought it. You have reminded me how much I loved it. First bottle in a long time on the wish list!
It’s really good and easy to wear, only $200 at FragranceX.com
I adore Love Tuberose, you smell fantastic.
It’s so amazing, I just want to bite myself!
Wow- must try!
Seriously
Now *that* is a blind-buy-inducing comment, if I ever heard one!
Guessing game:
It was so foggy out I pivoted to wearing this, by a beloved indie perfumer. The scent reminds me of a dewy forest.
SSS Pacific Forest?
Not a west coast thing.
Or Cape Heartache?
Nope. I have to refresh my memory of this one.
Another clue — This limited edition perfume is where the perfumer lives.
Air des Alpes Suisse?
Nope. Holly got it – DSH Colorado!
Foggy morning twins! Thick enough to cut with a knife, too.
I say! I was actually surprised at how thick it was!
DSH Colorado?
Ding ? Ding!!!
I’m basking in a scent that could easily have been called Vetiver Noire. It’s a favorite of many here, but also a love-hate thing for others … but then, what perfume isn’t? ?
Is it Encre Noire?
No, good guess but not that one. The scent’s real name is a bit generic.
Maybe Terre d’Hermes? Definitely a popular scent, although I am not sure about “Noire”.
No, although I guess I’d better get my ykw in gear and try that one.
Additional hints to the clues: The ending “e” in Noire is a clue, as is my comment that the actual name of this fragrance is rather generic. Remember the black and white labels on various non-brand-name items several years ago, for things like “Beer” or “Shampoo”? That kind of generic (but note that “black and white” is NOT a hint or a clue).
Vetiver extraordinaire?
No, sorry.
Well, I thought for sure lucasai would get this, since he’s had my number all week. It was Woman, from Ormonde Jayne.
I was really stumped. I never thought of Woman as a vetiver scent.
Jo Malone Blackberry & Bay
I am wearing a partly iris perfume named after a fancy piece of clothing…
Guerlain LPRN?
I thought of the same
Good guess! It’s SL Bas de Soie, though…
Guessing game: Rich sandalwood, set on fire so that the incense wafts up in a curvaceous line, capped off with a pop of red geranium. Truly a 10 – bellissima!
I don’t know what it is, but I think I want some!
Maybe 10 Corso Como?
Winner winner, chicken dinner
Woohooo!
Me want, too!
The road to hell is paved with perfume.
My first thought was “so true”, and then I realized that was a clue. ?
???
By Kilian Playing With the Devil?
I was going to suggest a BK fragrance as well
Hahahaha. Passage d’Enfer?
Oh, excellent guess!
We have a winner!
Good Morning!
1) The company sent out a notice saying that they will be expecting people back at work campuses starting in April! This will be done in staggered shifts. This is exciting, and it will be nice to see people again! However, protocols will still be in place, including masks! This will be great when I am in the server room, but there will need to be all sorts of steps for meetings and so on.
ONWARDS.
2) Am in Memoire d’une odeur by Gucci- a perfect almond blossom/herbal/chamomile scent. This is a perfect bookstore scent.
3) I keep getting these letter through my door asking me to sell my house. It’s weird- my block can be described, rather kindly as ‘shabby’ and we have no sidewalks. But somehow, the housing market (for buyers) has become so tight that would be flippers are now writing letters to people.
I could, in theory, sell this place for an handsome profit. But where would I go in PDX metro? I have kept up this place and updated it. It feels very comfortable to me now, despite being on a shabby block, because I have the best neighbors and I am close to the bus and train, just like a NYC house. I can bike to my shopping. Closer in, in an equally shabby neighborhood I would need to spend $200K (no, not a joke) to have an equally spacious place to live. Or I could live in a small condo in the Pearl District with neighbors locked away in their apartments.
So will answer the letter with “No, but thank you.”
Ede, I’ve been getting those letters, postcards, and flyers stuck in the storm door for years. If you answer you will just encourage them. They would tear down your house and put up two skinny houses instead because they don’t want the house, they want the land.
1) Okay- so I will just recycle them instead!
2) The scary thing is that I LIVE in one of those infill homes! Which I don’t mind- I still have a generous garden and huge amount of living space. It’s just so crazy that the market in PDX is tight that these folks would resort to sending *me* letters!
Also, you can be 1000% sure that the price they offer you is WAY less than what you could get if you sold your home yourself….
Oh I bet that is the case! No thanks, no thanks, gonna plant my spring garden and keep moving…
Re: #1
Our message stated reopening our offices during the Spring and Summer. Truth be told, they are all open but the majority had not passed toll gates for reopening, some of which are actually based on stricter state guidelines (or better put, conflicting definition of who is considered an “essential worker”). I am of course mentioning the above as more countries are entering full lockdown AGAIN. Oy!
Our campus never really ‘closed’ because part of it is a manufacturing facility, and the server rooms are there. But it has been running on staggered skeleton crews- only manufacturing crew and those in the server room needed. Since I do a lot of my networking stuff remotely, I have not had the need to be on campus more than 1x a month to do routine server stuff.
Our issue is that our state health agency is a hot mess with the distribution of vaccine.
NJ = vaccine wasteland so I understand 100%
UUUGGGHH
I just want my two jabs so I can fist bump co workers again!
A coworker got pregnant and had a whole baby during this time!
I get those letters too, they upset me. I ignore them.
I just dumped them in the recycling after shredding. There is an air of desperate predation about them.
We used to get those letters in our old neighborhood and always ignored them because we didn’t plan to sell. (It was an amazing location, but shabby houses.). When we did decide to move it was very sudden. I contacted one of the people who wrote the letters and they offered us $120,000 below what we paid for the house. My husband contacted a realtor who sold our house in one day for $170,000 above what we had paid.
Moral: don’t sell your house too quickly!
I figured out my scent needs slightly cool weather to bloom and waft a spring flower when I’m walking by people on the street.
Vaccine side effects update #999: I felt pretty good last night when I went to bed but then spiked a fever of over 102 in the middle of the night. Which, of course, means one ends up a sweaty mess once the drugs kick in to break the fever. I’m about to go clean the bathroom in advance of our move…make that shower sparkle, so I can check it off my list.
Oh my, I’m sorry that happened. That high a fever is no joke! I’m assuming by your plan to clean the shower that you’re better by now, which is good.
Seriously, 102!! So glad you are feeling well enough to clean a bathroom today.
If I had a fever of 102 there’s no way I’d be cleaning a shower the next day. You’re amazing!
Thanks for all the birthday wishes yesterday! I enjoyed a delicious cake with passionfruit mousse and raspberry.
I’m really happy with the Neil Chapman Perfume book I received. It’s really gorgeous with gold gilding on the page edges, first of all. And so much fun to dip in and out of! I’m looking forward to a quiet afternoon with it.
It’s on my nightstand; lovely book and happy belated birthday!
Happy Belated Birthday, Tulipani! ?
Wow, that cake description is making my mouth water!
Yum, that cake! I’m currently brainstorming my own birthday cake and have been thinking raspberry or strawberry-rose something. I always forget about passion fruits…
Very happy belated birthday!!!
Guessing game:
A US perfume house named after its founders. A herbal scent for the hero of a Western.
D.S&Durga Cowboy Grass?
Got it in one try!
Many thanks to Robin for saying something about ordering pizza yesterday. We did that for lunch today, and oh boy was it ever appreciated! And the leftover pizza makes for tasty breakfast eats. ??
Guessing game: I am from a house that is named after its controversial founder/namesake. However, the perfume of the day is atypical for the house style, and is sadly discontinued. What am I?
Well, I have to guess Dior Dior-Dior, mostly for fun.
Not a Dior, sorry. But that is a fun name!
Is it a Chanel?
Not a Chanel. Good guess, though.
Tom Ford?
If it’s Vert des Bois I’m going to cry.
I’m thinking Plum Japonais
Yes, it is a Tom Ford, but neither Plum Japonais nor Vert des Bois.
Sahara Noir?
Or maybe Violet Blonde?
Neither one of those. This perfume is what I would call a quiet Tom Ford Private Blend.
Neroli portofino?
Nope, not that one.
All of these guesses are proof that there are just too many TFs!
Need more clues–controversial in what sort of way?
Channel controversial–re reports of being a Nazi sympathizer; or more like Gwyneth Paltrow–re her nether parts candle; or more like Creed controversial–regarding price vs product, etc.
Oh, if only I could remember how to do the weepy-with-laughter emoji!
And now here’s me trying to think of soft core porn perfume ads! (see below
)
One could describe some of the past advertising of this brand as “soft core porn”.
THAT does not narrow it down! (Now I wish I could do that laughing-weeping emoji!) Versace? Calvin Klein? Marc Jacobs?
“Cringe-worthy” perfume names probably wouldn’t narrow it down much either. ?
I think Guerlain. Nahema.
Not a Guerlain, sorry.
Yep, I had pizza for breakfast today
So I may need to get on this pizza for breakfast bandwagon as I don’t ever recall doing that!
As to your SOTD, how about TF Jasmin Rouge?
Some kinds of pizza are better than others as a cold breakfast, but I’ve never had anything that’s made me say “Ugh that’s horrible and I will never do THAT again!”
Jasmin Rouge is a big honking white flower fest on me, so it’s not that one. Today’s pick is kind of obscure.
F-ing fabulous? Or Champaca Absolute? Or my absolute favorite Tom Ford fragrance – Lavender Palm?
Not any of those, but you’re on the right path with the guess of Lavender Palm.
The only one left is Lavender Extreme!
Not Lavender Extreme either. I’ve left a hint below.
Moss Breches?
We have a winner folks! ✨?
Aw, shucks!
No games for me today. I had my taxes done which is just never fun. My usual lady is on surgery leave so I had to have someone else, which caused me stress. Anyway I am sampling Miss Dior Absolutely Blooming on one hand and Coco edt on the other.
Are you liking either one of your SOTDs?
At least your taxes are done, and you don’t have that hanging over your head anymore.
I still prefer Coco edp, but the edt is growing on me. I’ve always liked the Dior, but I am retesting it because I think it might be getting discontinued and was debating about using my ULTA points on it.
I was happy to hear that we have until May 15 to file. I am not going to read any further as I am simply assuming that it’s the same deadline for NJ and NY ?
In CA it’s the same for state & federal.
What a relief to get your taxes done! Congratulations! I hope you get something fun with your Ulta points.
I wore Escentric 2 today. A student walked up and said “Are you wearing perfume? It smells amazing!”. I’ve been doing 6-8 sprays because of masks, so I was so pleased someone smelled me.
Perfume compliments are the best!
I ended up wearing Cristalle edp today since it was delivered this morning.
Happy almost Friday everyone!
Congrats on your bottle and happy Friday eve!
Thank you cazaubon!
Smelling good!
Thank you Jalapeno.
A hint: this TFPB is not floral or gourmand. It is one of the earlier ones.
And this was supposed to be tacked on to the end of my string.
White Suede?
Not that one either. But someone has correctly guessed!
Guessing game:
Rows and flows of angel hair
And ice cream castles in the air
And feather canyons every where
Gosh, I don’t have a guess, but do come back and report what it was if you have a chance.
