Jo Malone Blossoms 2021 ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 26 February 2021 7 Comments

Jo Malone has launched the limited edition 2021 Blossoms collection, including two relaunches (Frangipani Flower and Nashi Blossom) and two new fragrances (Red Hibiscus and Yellow Hibiscus).

Red Hibiscus ~ "A vivid flower on an island paradise. The red hibiscus is known for its enchanting petals and can be found in the heart of a tropical forest. With a touch of Jasmine Sambac and the warmth of vanilla, this intense solar floral draws you in with smoothness and sensuality." Additional notes include mandarin and ylang ylang.

Yellow Hibiscus ~ "An exotic bloom growing on tropical islands. The beaming yellow hibiscus is revered: its fanned petals are delicate to the touch, unfurling every afternoon to receive the sun. The dewy freshness of rose underpins this sparkling floral scent, with a slice of lime adding a burst of juiciness." Additional notes include white musk.

Jo Malone Frangipani Flower, Nashi Blossom and Yellow Hibiscus are available in 30 and 100 ml Cologne; Red Hibiscus is in 30 and 100 ml Cologne Intense.

Since hibiscus don’t have a scent, seems an odd choice for TWO fragrances.

I would rather have hibiscus in a cocktail :)

Well, actually gives them more license to play around…that part does not bother me.

    Those bottles aren’t very cute…. And I do love a cute bottle. I didn’t think hibiscus had a fragrance…..

I seriously dislike these bottles. And usually their spring sets are so cute.

I know, I do love the Spring sets and this is… well, a disappointment. Big ‘MEH’ from me.
