The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 12 January 2021 12 Comments

Ok, which one of you will buy this first? A reissue of a 1952 collector bottle inspired by Christian Dior's dog, Bobby, originally created for Miss Dior and now containing the more modern and (insert adjective of your choice) 2021 version of Miss Dior Blooming, the frosted flacon was created by Waltersperger and sports a bow by Safrane. €450; 3000 bottles were made. Do you have to take the dog’s
Head off to get the perfume? I find that disturbing. Poor Bobby.

Not as disturbing as it would have been if they had put the spray at the other end

I feel like there should be a German word for something that is both totally awful and wonderful at the same time. That word.

I’m sure when I was very young you could get stuff like Avon bubble bath in, say, a yellow plastic version of this tat. :^)

If I win the Mega Millions lottery tonight (615 million!), then I will consider buying it. (At the moment I’m thinking NOPE.) :)

I think it’s really cute and am so lucky they choose to fill it with a fragrance I have never tried and don’t really care to try. I wouldn’t spend that much on a LE bottle anyway yet it would have been a temptation. ?

The bottle kind of reminds me of the Moschino “Toy” bottles.
