April Aromatics Lotus Rising ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 18 November 2020 2 Comments

Berlin-based indie natural brand April Aromatics will launch Lotus Rising, a new limited edition, small batch fragrance, next week.

This perfume was inspired by my travels to India and to the lotus ponds.

The LOTUS FLOWER is one of the most ancient and deeply regarded symbols of our planet. It is appreciated in many different cultures, especially in the East; as a representation of purity, enlightenment, self-regeneration and rebirth.

Even though Lotus roots grow in the muddiest of waters, the plants rise above the surface and bloom with the most remarkable and beautiful flowers. It offers us hope and strength in our everyday struggles.

I created this perfume, which fits perfectly into the times we currently live. Lotus is an example to us, that no matter how muddy it gets…there is always light, love and grace. It points us in the direction to pure illumination of consciousness, it’s the symbol of life, ever-renewing youth, eternity, purity, and divinity. LOTUS is an example to us.

The notes feature lotus, champaca, frangipani, jasmine, rose, iris and botanical musk accord.

April Aromatics Lotus Rising will be €239 for 30 ml Eau de Parfum.

Tanja B is a very talented perfumer, can’t wait to try this one! It’s also a lovely sentiment for a very difficult year.

Yes it is! Not a cheap sentiment, unfortunately, but I bet it smells great.
