Smell Bent Elf-fulfilling Prophecy & A Scent Called Home ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 11 November 2020 3 Comments

Indie line Smell Bent has launched two new limited edition fragrances for Holiday 2020, Elf-fulfilling Prophecy (a repeat from 2009) and A Scent Called Home.

Elf-fulfilling Prophecy ~ "in a nutshell: tobacco spice // notes: aged tobacco absolute tossed with incense, blood cedar, vanilla and mulling spices // backstory: when we created our very first holiday collection in 2009, a naughty little elf managed to make his way into our lineup. reveling in his cuteness, this little fella never made it into spray form. utilizing a vintage tobacco absolute sourced for the original, our updated ELF is smoother and more sprayable than ever before"

A Scent Called Home ~ "in a nutshell: snuggly amber // notes: aged amber brightened with chai spices, orange peel and crisp mahogany // backstory: after a year like this one, we couldn't imagine a more appropriate theme than the importance of home. we, like many others, have spent more time here than ever before. this scent was born out of the gratitude and comfort that we take in our most private spaces. and with that in mind, while remembering how many are struggling, 25% of the selling price of this scent will be donated to organizations dedicated to helping those without homes."

Smell Bent Elf-fulfilling Prophecy and A Scent Called Home are available in 50 ml for $60.

Smell Bent is so reasonably priced and a charity contribution to boot, what’s not to love. I shall be tracking down the A Scent Called Home.

And that one does sound nice. Actually they both sound nice.

Yay, they brought back Elf-Fulfilling Prophecy! It is my favorite cola-smelling perfume. I still have a little bit in a decant I received when the original was out, and I will buy at least a travel spray soon to compare the new version to original.
