Anna Sui Fantasia Forever ~ new perfume

Posted by Robin on 19 September 2020 8 Comments

Anna Sui will launch Fantasia Forever, a new fruity floral flanker to 2017's Fantasia.

Introducing Fantasia Forever, where the charm and playfulness of an unconventional pink unicorn kick starts the enchantment of an entire park. With a playful wink, travel deep into the inner workings of a magical pink carousel.

This floral fruity fantasy opens with cheerful and happy notes of bergamot, kumquat and bright apple blossom. The whimsical heart leads to a dewy garden along a pastel-colored waterfall, where freesia petals, tender rose and water lotus are surrounded by the endless beauty of everlasting flower. The wonder filled journey concludes with comforting base notes of blonde woods, clean amber and musk.

Fantasia Forever was developed by perfumer Christine Hassan.

Anna Sui Fantasia Forever will be available in 30, 50 and 75 ml.

Do scents with names that seem targeted to teenage girls do well with adult women?

Yes! Jessica is an Anna Sui fan, she’s reviewed several of them.

Anna Sui’s cute/kitsch is just not exactly *my* cute/kitsch — it’s leaning more towards — but despite my age I do not think of myself as too old for cute/kitsch. I lean more towards more streamlined versions, like the Comme des Garcons kitty bottle for Grace Coddington, or the stupid Gwen Stefani solid-perfume dolls heads I bought a few years back but would probably buy all over again ?

(Although sorry, you were really talking about the name and I was talking about the design. So maybe never mind!)

Hah! I love a fun design on a bottle. It’s just the name that kind of makes me tilt my head….

Well, look, it’s a bottle with pink juice and a unicorn! The advertising revolves around unicorn merry-go-rounds. Fantasia Forever is not such a bad fit 😉

Oh my gosh! You are dead right. I didn’t notice the unicorn or realize the bottle was a carousel. That makes it charming whimsy. I’m a fan of whimsy.

Ha, well now you make it sound like I am advocating pink bottles with unicorns called Fantasia Fantasy — all I really meant was I know this stuff appeals to adults, because Jessica likes AS and she is an adult with good taste. And I know I like equally whimsical but different sorts of things 🙂
