Gucci A Chant for the Nymph & A Midnight Stroll ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 1 May 2020 10 Comments

Gucci will launch A Chant for the Nymph and A Midnight Stroll, two new fragrances in The Alchemist's Garden collection.

Crafted from pure natural plants and flowers layered with modern molecules, each fragrance and formula in the Alchemist’s Garden is inspired by the science of alchemy, telling the story of a place, a moment, or a memory. The singular scents in the eaux de parfum, acque profumate and oils are customizable and transformative when layered in a multitude of ways, allowing each wearer to curate a distinct identity from their combinations, which linger in the air when worn.

A Chant for the Nymph ~ floriental. "A Chant for the Nymph is an ode to tropical forests filled with sublimating solar flowers. The fragrance is inspired by the Frangipani, which symbolizes immortality for the heavenly and enduring smell that it releases on warm nights. With its enchanting beauty, the Frangipani embodies the story of a mythical nymph who appears on a summer’s night in a long-forgotten dream. Hiding behind the intoxicating Ylang Ylang and sensual Tiare flower, the nymph invites you to exotic lands, where seasonal clusters of long-lasting flowers are warmed by soft Vanilla."

A Midnight Stroll ~ woody oriental. "Evoking the resinous profile of Incense, A Midnight Stroll is an homage to the allure of night-time. Epitomized by a jaguar, an animal of unerring strength, the elegant creature is imagined to capture the essence of the scent’s mystery. With its combination of aromatic Incense and intense, smoky Cade Wood, the solitary jaguar moves under the cloak of darkness, as fresh Cypress channels this expression of vitality."

Gucci A Chant for the Nymph and A Midnight Stroll are available now for pre-order at Saks, $330 each for 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

It’s cheaper than some others in this series, assuming that price is correct. But, yeah.

These bottles look so cool, but boy howdy. I thought the price tag was a bit aspirational….

midnight stroll sounds intriguing but yeah 330 is a bit of a reach, love the cat on the bottle though. So maybe if I had the money sure, why not? Lol
