Last year, British niche line Ormonde Jayne launched Montabaco Verano, a limited edition flanker to 2012's Montabaco. This year, the brand is introducing a new collection, La Route de Soie, leading off with the four fragrances Byzance, Damask, Levant and Tanger. Look for Xi’an, Indus and Xandria to join the series later in the year.
Montabaco Verano (not shown) ~ "Limited edition Montabaco Verano eau de parfum is Ormonde Jayne's new take on their international best seller Montabaco. A dash of grapefruit and cashmeran brings a touch of vitality to the notes of suede, leather, wood and tobacco leaf that made the success of Montabaco."
Byzance ~ "Inspired by modern magic and the bridge between East and West, where soft leather meets gourmande notes, this Ormonde Jayne's eau de parfum is soft and velvety, sophisticated and simmering with inner passion. Byzance's oriental overture draws you closer into its sultry depths."
Damask ~ "The Damask eau de parfum by Ormonde Jayne is an abstract creation around a Damascene rose shimmering with charm and elegance. Fruity notes of pear, lemon, blackcurrant and pink berries form a backdrop of unique character. Mineral amber and musk reveal inner depths of sophistication, guiding the scent into a beguiling and extraordinary perfume."
Levant ~ "The Levant eau de parfum by Ormonde Jayne is a bottle of happiness that has no intention of being anything other than ravishing and gorgeous. An innocent note of peony, adored by all flower lovers, a singing note of lily, a garland of orange-blossom and jasmine make this brilliant, appealing and flirtatious fragrance."
Tanger ~ "This eau de parfum by Ormonde Jayne is a vivid display of neroli, playing to win your heart. The scent is a lasting tribute to the quintessential marriage of harmonious perfumed oils. Expertly blended with ylang ylang and bergamot, Tanger is a sunny, golden perfume, joyful and entirely lovable."
