The (almost) daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 13 March 2020 9 Comments

A lemming too late — I would have killed for some version of this 10 years ago. The Serge Lutens Eaux de Politesse Eau de Parfum Discovery Set, with 7 ml sprays of Des clous pour une pelure, Fleurs de citronnier, Santal blanc, L'Eau d'armoise and Gris clair. $125 CAD at Holt Renfrew.

Same. And skip the funnel and case, I don’t need them.

    What TOOK them so long?

And why haven’t they done like six of them? A set of gourmands, a set of florals, a set of orientals….

It is possible they have and I don’t know where they’re selling them? Or possible they are testing the waters with this set?

The French site sells coffrets voyage, and the parfums de politesse are only sold in full bottles.
I’ve lost track of what Lutens is up to these days. I fondly remember a Monday in 2009 when I bought 3 bell jars for all of € 110,- each.

And I remember when they were 90€. Those were the days.

Yep, I’m so glad I started collecting when I did. Preferably I would have started a bit earlier, but I got plenty of steals on ebay.
