Ouch, another Monday. What fragrance are you wearing?
I’m in Hermès Brin de Réglisse.
Reminder: on Saturday, 2/8, Now Smell This turns 15! For our birthday, we're moving the Friday Project to Saturday, and meshing it with the Lazy Weekend Poll. Wear a fragrance that you found out about from Now Smell This, or received in a freebiemeet, swapmeet or splitmeet, or just wear a favorite fragrance that you've talked about on Now Smell This. Plus, if you can, share the single best tip or piece of advice you ever received from another reader. (There will be no post on Friday, by the way, because I'm traveling again...if you want to chat, use the Thursday poll!)
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2020, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Wow! That is a very peaceful and beautiful picture, Robin!
Wearing the last drops of Carner Barcelona D600. Full bottle thunked! I liked it and enjoyed it, but I will not replace it!
Happy Monday everyone!
Put on Brin de Reglisse and close your eyes…
Ok, not quite, but beats the Monday morning outside my window right now 🙂
You smell wonderful. Do you plan to restock D600?
Thank you! ? I heard about D600 from you and I really enjoyed it. I have no plans to restock, since there are so many other perfumes on my to buy list that are priority. But if another bottle falls in my lap I will welcome it eagerly!
Brin de Réglisse is beautiful. Good idea for a Monday!
For me, more Philosykos.. just easy.
Congrats Chiefs fans! What a great game and of course the commercials, so many good ones. Both my husband and I teared up over the NY Life Insurance one.
Yay for reminding me to go find a commercial compilation! Do you remember any of the other great ones?
I loved the Groundhog Day/Jeep one in the 4th quarter. But you had to have seen the movie to fully appreciate it.
Yes! That was my favorite. My husband and I were both laughing out loud, but I love Bill Murray in everything.
That was my favorite commercial as well!
LOVED Bill Murray/Groundhog Day commercial. Perfect idea! Google also had a winner (more tears!).
Here’s the director’s cut if you want a little more laughs! #BillMurrayROCKS

Nice, thanks so much for the link JadainGA!
Skipped the game, so thanks for this–best ad evah.
Thanks for posting! I just rewatched the movie about a year ago…
One of my favorite movies.
???
I’m going to be an outlier here on the commercials, but I thought this one was hilarious:
https://youtu.be/9OpuHa2vwdk
I’m throwing in a swoon for Sam Elliot ?
That was the first one I watched, because I’d already seen the “trailer” — seriously!
Also liked the Smart Park one.
I teared up over the google one where the man was telling google to remember things about his wife.?
Yes! Really good.
I am wearing Sadanne today because I forgot the Friday theme, but I have so many things courtesy of you all that I will have to participate for the rest of the week!
Somehow, forgetting things should also be part of the theme 🙂
Good morning Y’all,
While the Super Bowl was on, I took that time to deep clean my room including my perfume collection (I don’t think I could ever sit still as long as that game ran), and I always get re-inspired and re-excited about my smelly collection. I also find scents that I’ve forgotten about and it’s fun to get reacquainted with old favorites. So today I’m smelling cozy and cocoa-y in Nest Cocoa Woods. Such a good one for a cold winter day!
SMELLY GOOD PRICE ALERT: My TJ Maxx had a couple of bottles of Korres Amethyst Oud and Emerald Oud EdP for just $6.99!!! These were launched just a year or two ago, and they must not have been very popular. Anyway, I bought the Amethyst Oud and really love it…it’s RICH and woody and deep, and definitely unisex. Anyhoo, keep an eye out for this good deal……Korres is a great brand!
Nice deal! Thanks.
Didn’t know Korres had moved into perfume. They have some really nice lip products.
That’s an awesome find! I have been having luck too lately at TJmaxx for make up
I’m wearing my favourite scent of all time (I can’t believe I have one, but I do), Parfum d’Hermes extrait from all the way back in 1984, one of those of-the-moment scents that borrows from nearly every fragrance family: it’s green, a floral oriental, a chypre, woody and balsamic, but most of all it is rich and voluptuous and intoxicating. In a just world it would have been acclaimed as one of the all-time great scents, an instant classic, and would still be available, unaltered and beloved. I’ve been neglecting it, and I’m going to wear it every day this week, see if I can make myself sick of it. I’m betting no.
A favorite scent of all time — wow, that’s quite something. Not sure I’ll ever get there. Enjoy your week of wearing it!
You smell fantastic 🙂 I have a modern iteration of the PdH extrait that I love to bits. The vintage stuff must be marvelous.
There’s nothing more plush and golden, nothing. It’s practically incandescent. If you ever see the vintage extrait, buy it. (My half-ounce bottle is from 1984 and it has not faded a bit in those 35 years.)
Oh, do you know what? I mixed up PdH with Jour d’Hermes. That’s the modern extrait I have and love. I’ve never tried PdH, though your description sounds incredible. I saw a bottle on eBay and was tempted, but I really shouldn’t indulge in blind buys anymore, even for scents you describe as plush, golden, and incandescent 🙂
Today is a sample of Guimauve de Noel from Parle Moi de Parfum. I like this one. Quite a bit. And I don’t find it particularly holiday-ish, although I enjoyed wearing it over Christmas as well.
Cologne du Soir, from my most recent swap with Koyel. I plan to wear either swaps, splits or freebies this week – should be easy! For now, I smell cozy on a cold day. (cold for CA, I should add. Just at freezing).
Happy Monday!
That’s a great idea! I think I will join you tomorrow!?
Oh, that IS the cp duh, lol. Can you tell it’s monday and I’m tired.?
My SOTD is also from a swap! I’ve gotten some real gems from NST friends 🙂
I think I need to take this foot to urgent care and see if I fractured anything.
Went from 85 to 41 Degrees in my part of Los Angeles and a touch of JM vetiver and golden vanilla will do the trick. I love this one. Warm and cozy, and never cloying with a fresh opening.
Yikes! Get to a dr.!
I’ve not tried that new JM. Maybe this week I’ll seek it out. Hermes’ Vetiver Tonka is a favorite of mine.
Oh dear. Still swollen? Different pain?
Probably a good idea. I twisted my foot once running up stairs with Birkenstocks on? and thought I’d just sprained it but it turned out to be a comminuted fracture and I got one of those lovely boots for a few weeks.
Ditto what MTG said!
Thanks all for you thoughts!
I am home with a diagnosis of a closed displaced broken metatarsal in three places.
I have on the BOOT. I left the crutches in the car. Too dangerous for me. Need to call an orthopedist now.
Good grief.
Oh no! I am so sorry apsara, but I am so glad you went and got it checked out! The boot does suck, but my foot definitely felt better in it. Sending healing wishes your way!!
Oh gosh, I hope you are not in too much pain!
Yes, better to know. Although I would think about going to see an orthopedist. Urgent care missed a fractured collarbone on my son that the orthopedist found.
Yes, much better to get peace of mind. I empathise as I broke my ankle recently and had assumed for several days that it was just a sprain. Best wishes for your recovery.
Oh no, I hope things repair quickly and easily!
It was 68 in my part of the Bay Area on Saturday, and this morning it was 33. Interesting to see that a similar pattern was observed down south.
Oh, dear! I hope it’s not broken!
And that’s a crazy temp drop.
So sorry to hear that your foot is in such rough shape! Sending healing thoughts!
Jo Malone White Moss & Snowdrop (sample finished). I learned about it here, from one of Robin’s posts. It is nice, smells like an expensive masculine cologne to me (in a good way). I put it on about three or four hours ago and can smell it only if I bring my hand to the nose.
That description immediately made me think of Prada Man, the original one.
In my Perfumarie blind scent choice, which was revealed over the weekend to be…. Un Jardin Après La Mousson by Hermès.
Which is both good and bad, I suppose. Widely commercially available? Yes! Do I like it? Yes, very much so, the shivering-cold spices and vetiver are a nice change for me, and I do get that impression of watermelon rind (a smell I love) without it smelling rank/rotten as some people did.
But $110-150CAD for an EdT with a lasting power of a few hours? Ouch. Unless I can find it on sale somewhere, I think I’d feel hard-pressed to go FB on this one.
Hermès makes nice 15 ml bottles, you can usually find them on eBay.
Yes, do check eBay. I bought my 15ml bottle of Mousson there for about $22 IIRC. Luckily, it has good lasting power on me too.
Thank you for that tip you two!! That’s a much more attractive price! ?
Wore Dia this morning and thinking on what perfume I can wear that I can fly under the radar with at work. I think that I will go with Chanel no 5. If I get nonsense about it, I can say it must be the mystery lotion I found while cleaning. If my coworker can wear her BBW lotion, I can wear my scented lotions.
Dia ia beautiful.
Back to work, and back in Eau Duelle, my new favorite vanilla.
We watched the super bowl yesterday too and we cheered for Kansas since they hadn’t won a game in over 50 years. It wasn’t looking good there for awhile but they came back for a great end of the game. I love watching the game just as much for the commercials but didn’t see any VW ads this year or Budweiser with the horses and yellow lab pups.
That’s a good one! You smell like a cupcake
Thanks!?
Is Eau Duelle going to take over the spot previously held by Vanille Insensee?
Lol, I think so!?
Oooh! My Vanilla Insensee is down to like 20% but I was thinking I’m not SO enamored that I would need a rebuy once it’s gone, which meant I’d need a new vanilla option. Eau Duelle is going on my list to try!
I blindly grabbed one of my decants, which turned out to be Eau de Néroli Doré. Sprayed it, but two hours on, I can’t smell it at all. Oh well, I have fragrances in my drawers at here at work.
I decided on Montana Just Me, from a cute mini that I bought unsniffed. I’ll see if it’s worth taking home.
I think I will wear that tomorrow, thanks!
I’ll start the CP anniversary week off by wearing Infusion d’Iris, which got so much love here that I did a blind buy about 6 years ago. I never loved it, so set it in the back of the cabinet And also gave various decants away. It’s about time I revisited.
I must have read NST starting in the early days but was just a lurker for a long time. I know that back in 2005 I was a big blog surfer…perfumes and many other subjects. Many of those blogs have disappeared, so I’m tremendously grateful for NST living on. It will be easy for me to find scents I own simply because of a review or recommendation here.
And, off topic…I started watching Super Bowl but joined a bit late because I went to see “sex, lies and videotape”, which I hadn’t seen since it was first released. Holds up. And a young James Spader is always worthwhile to view. I ended up switching away from the SP to the 7 Continents show on BBCA. I simply got tired of all the commercials. Every third down it seemed. Switched back in the 4th Quarter…good timing. I’m sure most of my friends in the Bay are crushed today (I grew up a Raider fan, so I’ve never been among The Faithful.)
James Spader… swoon ?
Second that.??
That was a great movie…
I loved that movie and saw it in the theater when it came out. I should revisit it…
I loved SL&V and watched it several times. James Spader was fascinating and hot when he was younger. Loved him in The Secretary as well.
Extra swoon for Secretary ??
Yes, SF/Bay area fans (my hubby included) are crushed. Equally, Kansas City earned their win, The Niners earned their loss; bad calls from the refs (e.g., Ben Niemann helmet hit Jimmy Garoppolo) didn’t help matters. *sigh*
There’s always next season, and baseball season is right around the corner – pitchers and catchers report for Spring training next week.
*Rant over* resume perfume discussion!
Sorry you did not love your blind buy! That is the down side of perfume blogs, presumably.
Oh believe me, others scents more than made up. I’ve gained immensely from others’ recommendations.
🙂
Beautiful lavender field!
I’m in Guerlain LUI today.
You smell great!
With the CP today… wearing Teresa Helbig Old Money which I learned about here on NST. Enjoying it quite a bit today, and it’s definitely office-safe which is good since Monday is my usual one-day-a-week in the office.
Such a great name!
Sluggish morning today in PW Tea Rose, which is stunning and also cheap as chips and I’m sad I didn’t pick it up from Marshall’s when I saw it there once for about $15.
Exciting news: SSS is have a 20% off sale until Valentine’s Day with code SCENTS20. (I think they raised their prices though? I’m not sure.) I nearly pulled the trigger, but I just want a few 5 ml travel sprays, and don’t really want to pay the massive shipping fee for <$125 carts. But if you have a purchase in mind, go make it now!
I just saw that in my inbox! Very tempting.
I’m kicking myself for purchasing immediately after SSS reopened instead of waiting for this sale. I bought all 4 perfumes I wanted, and of those, I’ve only worn from one of the bottles so far.
Aww that’s a bummer 🙁 (maybe you can verify if the prices have indeed gone up a bit?) Anyway I am sure they appreciated your early business. I bet it helped get things going!
What were the four bottles?
I think they were raised slightly but not significantly. I still find them quite reasonable. I think the old prices for travel sprays were $17-$21 and now they’re $20-$25 if that helps.
I bought 15ml of Equestrian and Jour Ensoleille and 5ml of Bee’s Bliss. Bee’s Bliss was the only blind buy and the only one I’ve worn so far to try it out. I do still have samples and a decant of the others, so I’ve worn Equestrian from my decant after I bought the bottle.
That’s a good way to look at it of supporting the business early on with the new owner. I was thinking over the weekend about how much of a bargain shopper I am. I very rarely pay full price for designer or niche perfume, but I’m very willing to pay full price for indies. I’m thinking it’s mainly because there’s less mystery to who is behind the brand and the price point is typically lower.
Oops forgot to say the 4th bottle, which was 5ml of Yin and Ylang.
Oh yeah, agreed that the price increases are small and that the new prices are still reasonable.
I’m also way more ok with spending full price on Indie scents than on bigger brands 🙂 It reminds me of pixel’s semi-serious attitude of considering Indie purchases as donations to independent artists!
I consider my indie purchases as patronage of the arts. 🙂
I got that email, too. Unfortunately, samples are excluded from the sale. I understand why, but I’m not sure I want to try another SSS blind buy, even though my previous one worked out.
Ah! Well, the 5-mL travel sprays are not excluded, and I pretend those are large samples anyway, since the little sample tubes aren’t sprays anyway. What was your previous SSS blind buy?
I blind bought travel sprays of Nostalgie and Fireside Intense.
Fireside Intense is a favorite of mine 🙂
Not only so I NOT KNOW who won the Super Bowl, I don’t even know who played. I’m an avid football fan in case you couldn’t tell. ?
I’m in Bvulgari Omnia today, the original. Monday, Monday…
I’ll call your “I don’t know who played,” and raise you a “I didn’t even know it was Super Bowl Sunday yesterday.”
Excellent!!??
Ha! Same here! ? Another huge fan- nice to have company ?
I wish I could say I didn’t know it was on or who was playing but people at work don’t allow me to not know. However, I’m very excited for a 6 month break from hearing about football.
LOL. The only way I knew was because all the grocery stores had huge sales on junk food! It took me a minute to figure out why.
I always ask my husband who is playing, and then almost always have to ask where these teams reside. Except 49ers, even I can figure that one out.
I’m wearing Jasmins Marzipane, received in a swap with cazaubon. It will not be hard at all to do the CP every day this week.
This Monday started off very well other than feeling so tired when I woke up. As I was checking emails, my eyes were drawn to an eBay alert letting me know a listing had come up for Paul & Joe Blanc, which has been discontinued for at least 8 years or so. I’ve had this eBay alert set up for a year or two with no hits, so I bounced on buying the partial bottle that was just listed. I’m so excited to have more than the 5-8ml left in a bottle that I’ve been hoarding.
In weekend smelly news since I didn’t post in the lazy weekend poll, I thunked both my decant of Volutes EDP and my sample of the EDT. I definitely prefer the EDP and hope that when I purchase a bottle it smells as good as my older decant did.
I didn’t really have anything to add to the reading poll since I haven’t read much since last time I posted about books in early Jan. But I’m about a third of the way through The Goldfinch. I love it and wish I could spend all my time reading instead of going to work. I also read a fun thriller, The Last Time I Lied by Riley Sager, just before I started The Goldfinch.
I could do a week of just “swaps from therabbitsflower” ??
And I could do the same for you!
You smell wonderful. 🙂
Thanks to you!
I am also in a Lancome, namely Cuir de Lancome. After it was raved about here I bought unsniffed and really liked it.
Lucky you, to have a bottle of CdL!
Mmm I sure love me some Cuir de Lancome. I should wear it before winter is over.
The Goldfinch movie is excellent too!
I have forgotten which actors are in it and I’m purposefully not looking it up until I’m done with the book. I don’t want to assign real faces to the characters. I hope I will like the movie too!
Oh congrats on your Blanc, such a great scent.
Thanks! I’ve already had a spendier 1st quarter than I meant to, but I don’t regret any of my purchases. I bought a partial bottle of Jour de Fete off someone in a Facebook group, and I’m pretty pleased with that find too.
Chanel No 5 EDP layered on top of No 5 shimmering gel
Nice!Did you ever try the Elixer Sensual I wore over the weekend?
No, I haven’t. I will have to look that one up.
SOTD = Jo Malone Vetiver and Golden Vanilla
… from samples kindly procured for me by the Nordstrom LaMer SA because the Macys Herlad Square Jo Malone SA was b-tchy. Anyway, if you like nutty vetiver and non-gourmand vanilla, this one’s for you! I likened it to Carner Barcelona D600 except without the iris. I was highly amused when I saw pfl67 wearing D600 today ?.

Will be back later to read other comments.
Oh, and one more rant. In the past week, I saw 3 instances of drivers running a red light from a stopped position! They were probably distracted and saw the green from the side and no cars so decided to go. They were extremely lucky…
That always baffles me, seeing people stopped at a red light and then suddenly just run it.
Exactly what happened and the other driver and I just looked at each other with our eyes wide and mouths hanging open.
Some intersections by me do allow right turns on red. Usually side streets, though. I sure hope that no one you saw tried to make a left turn on red!!! ?
They went straight across the intersection so basically they could have been hit on either side. Seriously crazy, distracted and if they get into an accident and live, it’s always the other person’s fault.
O.M.G.!
SotD is Eau des Merveilles.
I drained my 10 ml travel mini a few months ago…and turned out I really missed this fragrance. So I bought a small bottle (30 ml) a few weeks ago.
I had a very relaxed and relaxing weekend.
Saturday we saw Knives Out in the cinema. That was fun!
And yesterday I binged Terry Jones’ Medieval Lives on YouTube.
Congrats on your new bottle!
I wish I’d seen Knives Out when it was still around here. I will have to wait for Netflix.
I really enjoyed Terry Jones’ Medieval Lives when it was a broadcast TV series here.
Went to Parfum d’Ambre this afternoon and I could have spent way more time there since there were so many brands I’d never even heard of. Ended up buying Wise Plum which is one of the new scents from their house brand. So new that they just got in the packaging and they had to dilute the concentrate in order to sell me some. I think they said it was plum and saffron mostly. Also, I’m thinking that I may want Quality of Flesh and Dejelam eventually….
Oh fun, then you are the first!
It’s the third week of the semester, and I feel as if I haven’t stopped running since day one. I’m doing the CP today, just in case I can’t manage it later in the week (and also because Robin is wearing a reglisse scent, which reminded me).
SOTD is Reglisse Noire, from 1000 Flowers. It’s pretty great. I can’t remember which of you fabulous people first brought this to my notice, so I am thanking all of you.
I think of cm8 when I see that one mentioned.
Hope you will get a break Lisa D!
Monday.Urgh.Glad its over.Too many trivial bs and too much to do.
SOTD!
Perfume for Kings and Queens(me,lol)Queen of Sheba.a Pretty good although linear green tuberose. Not rocket science, cheap as chips, and helped me cope at work. The brand is part of the Korres lineup.
Happy Monday!
Xo
For some reason, Korres perfumes are really hard to find here in the States. The only retail outlets I see them at are online at Amazon and the Korres website itself.
Sometimes cheap as chips beats rocket science!
Testing Bee…. wow, I like it much better than I expected. I was pretty ‘meh” about Bee’s Bliss and few other honey-centered scents that have come out in the last few years… Wish it had more staying power. Goes on like a powerhouse at least. Just too prove how broke is my my nose, I get patchouli from this frag, and no one has listed patchouli among its notes… needless to say, I should stick to my day job.
Nonsense, there’s probably patch!
Wearing Pour La Belle today, a scent of the Schlossparfumerie in Stuttgart. It’s a great classic chypre and perfect for the warmish and rainy weather we have here in Germany.
Yay for classic chypre!
I’m in Le Cri which was from a very-much-appreciated swap and is a firm love. This CP is an easy one ?
I’m feeling sore today after a weekend of major cleaning and a Carnaval samba party. I’ve never samba danced before- I can sort of Salsa. Samba is a very different bird and excellent cardio. The foot work is extremely fast and it’s amazing to watch the “pros” keep it going. Really fun, but my calves ache.
Samba wasn’t one of the dances covered when I took a ballroom dancing class in college. I still remember the cha-cha, though.
I’ve looked online to see where there are classes and it seems less popular than other Latin styles of dance. Not that many classes here.
How fun you took ballroom in college, though!
What a great party 🙂
It was fun! I went to see our drumming maestro play live. It seemed like a mostly Brazilian crowd because they knew all the songs and really knew how to dance.
Today is decant thunk day – polished off Nishane Ani and Ligne St. Barth West Indies Vanilla. 🙂 I have a FB of the Ligne St. Barth but decided against the Nishane. That house has some sort of synth base that grates on my nerves after a few hours.
Yay for Thunk Day!
I’m wearing the DSH December Scent Trunk scent, which I am quite enjoying and FOR SURE would never have come across if it weren’t for y’all!
Yay, you smell great. I really enjoy that one.
Wearing Tea for Two, which I originally got as a decant in a Swapmeet. Now I own a FB. Thanks for making this such a welcoming, informative and fun place to talk perfume, Robin!
🙂
I’m in the lovely Myrrhe and Eglantine from Hermessence. Still going strong 8 hours later.
Is Hiram Green’s Voyage a safe blind buy? Chime in if you have smelled it! I’m thinking of getting it but really wary of blind buys in general
Seriously, by definition there is no such thing as a safe blind buy.
You are right of course. But so tempting! I will try to resist
SOTD is my last drops of Guerlain’s Philtre d Amour. Such a beauty but I refuse to pay $600 for it.
Hit the gym at lunch, (Butts & Guts) and boy did the class live up to it’s name! I haven’t done weightlifting in a while, it felt good!
Now I’ll collapse like a bowl of jell-o in the corner. 😀
Haha – a name like would definitely ensure I don’t sign up
Hah! No worries, I did enough suffering for a few of us!
Ditto!!
I laughed at the name of your workout class, and would try it! ?
SOTD is Heeley’s Iris de Nuit
Gorgeous and sunny weather here today; it’s almost 60 degrees F. What a change from yesterday’s dreary, rainy weather. ☀☀☀ I’d better enjoy the sun while it shines… forecast has 4 straight days of rain in it this week. ☔
SOTD = Sammarco Vitrum Extrait, from the sample stash. It starts off as a huge SMOKY scent on me, complete with a decent whiff of BBQ. After 3 or 4 hours it has calmed down a lot into a woody vetiver and incense perfume. A little goes a long way with this one.
Self posting to mention that I would have never heard of Vitrum without NST!
When a perfume is described as bbq, does that refer to sauce, or the smoke that comes from a charcoal grill?
In this case, on my skin, it refers to the smoked meat itself! I smelled a hint of smoked pulled pork! Yummy to have as dinner, but I am not so sure as a perfume note. ?
I’m so curious as to what makes that smell in a perfume, even though I know I wouldn’t like it!
I’m iffy when the smoke note smells like smoked meat. I like woodsmoke in tame doses, though- also a fan of the SSS FI.
Wow, Vitrum sounds fantastic. Maybe fantastic enough for me to break my no-sample-purchase rule?
If you can find it, and are a hard-core vetiver fiend, you might want to consider. This starts off as a thundering monster of a scent, and gets rather quiet after about 6 or 7 hours on me.
So do you like bbq notes?
I’m still trying to figure out if I do. This is the first time I have come across one.
I LOVE bbq notes. For me, a bbq note is a kind of smoky, chewy, leather something. I first got a noseful of bbq in Tauer Lonesome Rider, which has a good dose of bbq sauce as well. I also get bbq in SSS Fireside Intense. I know there are some other bbq-y scents I adore, but I can’t remember them off the top of my head.
FWIW, I didn’t get any BBQ notes in Fireside Intense. Lots of leather and wood smoke, plus some amber at the end.
It was a nice day. I enjoyed it.
I am certain I could wear a month’s worth of perfumes I read about here on NST, but I’ll do the CP for the week. Today’s SOTD is Eau de Merveilles. I don’t wear it often, but it smells like nothing else I own and is worth keeping around just for that.
exactly! that’s why I love edm. you smell fantastic. 😀
Earlier I had a light spray of Memo Marfa, before I went out to do some errands. I’m dealing with annoying paperwork issues that keep delaying aspects of life. To compensate, I stopped off at the liquor store (!) then at Marshall’s and TJ Maxx. No interesting perfumes, though I did see Mugler Aura. All I bought was a cute fluffy little cat bed. In the typical manner of cats, they are so far displaying manifest indifference to it. But I bet I’ll find that someone has snuck into it by tonight! On my way home I applied Musc Ravageur from my little sample spray in my purse. Both of my scents today came free, courtesy of kind people on this blog!
Any interesting liquors, though?
I had a pretty good day today with lot’s of sun, plus my boss had the day off, lol. I was able to speak to the head of special needs for the school district, about the issue I had with the classroom helper. It looks like she will have to go for more training but will still be in the classroom.
My Sotd was Allure edp. My bottle is just about half empty, I think it’s 4 or 5 years old, so not bad.
Glad to hear that you had a decent day today! ??
SotD = Twilly
Feeling very twirly in Twilly, a BWF skewed “young”. I like it a lot. There’s a moment when the sandalwood in the base gets a little raspy to my nose, but the rest of the ride is joyful. 😀
House twins with my Hermes folks today! Can I get a woot-woot? LOL
Seriously though, the lavender in Brin de Reglisse is one of my favorites, along with Caron Pour un Homme. I loves me some lavender.
Hope everyone had a marvelous Monday!
?
Woot woot!
