Punctuation police here! If the letter N is an abbreviation of the word “and”, then surely there should be an apostrophe both before & after said letter…
It looks like the perfume name is a riff on the rock band name “Guns N’ Roses”. There’s only one apostrophe in that, too.
I thought the same thing!
Oh good grief, that never even occurred to me! I am aware of the one apostrophe in the band’s name, though. Just been annoying recently reading media articles with glaring spelling, grammar & punctuation errors, not to mention restaurants with errors on their menus.
I think this name dumbs down Dior even more now. Sad really. I wish they would just stop.
It comes off as a case of the name really not matching what the perfume is.
Being the punctuation police for the fragrance industry is a thankless task, that’s all I can say.
Husband & I just laughed out loud at your comment, Robin, thank you!
I tried this in the store and I actually really liked it! The dry down was kind of boring though.
I tried it tonight, and was pleasantly surprised. I thought the bottle was nice looking too.
