Guerlain has launched Embruns d’Ylang, the latest addition to their L’Art et la Matière collection.
Embruns d’Ylang is a spicy floral centering on ylang ylang and the 'iodine spray carried by a stormy sky'. The notes include salty note, bergamot, ylang ylang, jasmine, clove, patchouli, iris and vanilla.
Guerlain Embruns d’Ylang is available in 75 ml Eau de Parfum, €205.

I’m absolutely curious to try this, but the recent tuberose one was quite simple to me.
I also did not realize the price point on this line.
The price point is an effective deterrent since I like but don’t love most modern Guerlains 🙂
I don’t like much at this price, to be honest. That’s more than the bell jars in the EU. Though whether or not those are still worth it in 2019….
The only Guerlain I’ve bought in the last decade was the Arsene Lupin Dandy , which is now discontinued ?. I think I’m immune to Guerlain as a brand
I would still love to try this. Maybe if I’m lucky I can try it in Dallas at NM on my way back from Austin.
I don’t think it’s in the US yet, but worth a try.
I’ll look for it next time I’m at Saks!
I’ve only read one review of this on Basenotes, and it was quite negative. I will sniff if given the opportunity but my expectations are low.
Ah, good to know.
