DS & Durga Notorious Oud ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 15 May 2019 12 Comments

Indie niche brand DS & Durga has launched Notorious Oud, a new fragrance inspired by rapper The Notorious B.I.G.

D.S. & Durga's Notorious Oud fragrance takes inspiration from Notorious B.I.G., one of Brooklyn, New York's treasures. An unlikely muse, this eau de parfum uses a worldwide perspective, blending sublime Indonesian oud, North African papyrus, Afghani saffron and Bulgarian rose.

Additional notes include camphor, white galbanum, lavender, civet and cetalox.

DS & Durga Notorious Oud is available now at Harrods in the UK, in 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

I want to make it clear that inasmuch as I will ever refer to this fragrance, I shall do so by calling it the Notorious O.U.D.

(Could they possibly not have done it because of copyright restrictions? Otherwise, I can’t imagine what stopped them!)

Or, don’t refer to it ;-)

I’m so disturbed by the grammar of the second sentence I can’t think about it anymore.

Why, you don’t think an EDP can be its own unlikely muse? ;-)

Whilst maintaining its own worldwide perspective? That is asking an awful lot of any inanimate object.

If only this were inspired by the Notorious RBG… I’d buy it unsniffed!☺️☺️☺️

All of this, and Biggie would have approved.

Other than agreeing that they should start hiring a copy editor, I’m going to keep my thoughts about this to myself.
