How can it be Monday already? It's also the International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Slavery and the Transatlantic Slave Trade. And yes, the swapmeet is still open! It doesn't close until a week from tomorrow, so you've still got plenty of time. What fragrance are you wearing?
I'm in the fantastic Blackbird Y06-S, currently in what Kevin called its "strong and steady banana note" phase. It's going on my buy list.
Reminder: on 3/29, wear an orange blossom or neroli fragrance, if you have one.
And for those of you who like to plan ahead, see Scent of the day ~ Friday community projects 2019, where I'll try to always have the next five or six weeks mapped out in advance.

Getting my orange blossom on in 24 Faubourg.
You smell divine!
You smell sophisticated
Oh, that’s such a pretty fragrance, lovely!
Twins! It’s still cold here and 24 Faubourg is such a cozy orange blossom.
You smell perfect.
Elegant scent!
Heeley Oranges and Lemons Say The Bells of St. Clements.
Despite the name, I think its dominant note is neroli.
Ooh. I would probably love that one. And the name makes me smile.
I think the name is what attracted me even before smelling it.
It’s a clean, soapy, natural-smelling citrus cologne – neroli, lemon, bergamot. Smells somewhat masculine. I like it a lot.
me too Oakland Fresca. I thought of Ingrid Bergmann dressed up like nun in Bells of St. Mary’s.
Hi NST,
The daffodils and crocuses were in bloom as I walked to work this morning, and nothing says spring like a crocus! Feeling great and wearing Ael-Mat.
How lovely! We are still several weeks away from flowers in bloom.
I have some succulents and nectarine trees blooming! Seeing them makes me so happy! Yay Spring!
SotD is New York by Nicolai
This is so gooooooood!
Sorting my way thru all sort of GDPR related stuff and issues at work today. Even though it takes a lot of effort (in this case my effort haha), i am actually glad we have regulations like this.
New York is wonderful stuff! I just commented below that when I get home this afternoon, I’m joining you 🙂
Jiji, I feel ya, I deal with GDPR all the time on projects. AND I too am glad security is in place. Although I would rather retire.
Casablanca.
Received four compliments before eight in the morning
The trick is to dab rather than spray as it’s a pure perfume.
Twins! Dabbing from my sample vial.
Wow!!! Twins two days in a row.. LOVE THIS ????
A steady banana note sounds really intriguing! I only have banana conditioner which I like, but I’m not sure if I would like to smell (like) banana for a full day?
I’m accidentally early with my orange blossom. SOTD is Artisan Parfumeur’s Histoires d’Oranger.
Histoires d’Oranger is on my to-try list. Bet you smell wonderful!
Do try it! It’s lovely!
It turns to mostly jasmine 🙂
Is your banana conditioner the one from The Body Shop? I’ve been thinking of getting that one.
I haven’t worn jasmine for a while, it sounds good!
Yes, from The Body Shop. I like it a lot, almost feels like mashed banana and doesn’t smell like banana candy.
Thanks Hilde, I might have to get some 🙂
I liked FM Eau de Magnolia so much last week that I chose it again for today. Not sure whether it has any orange blossom, but it sure is gorgeous.
You smell great, I love Eau de Magnolia
Beautiful!
My spring favorite! You smell great.
Kicking off neroli week with Jo Malone Basil & Neroli body creme, topped with Sarabecca Neroli oil.
Today’s tea: Stash peach black.
It’s your week!?
I’m making the most!
🙂
Sounds like a great combo!
I’m wearing Jo Malone Basil & Neroli for the first time. I had pulled it to wear a while ago, but it had languished untouched. Pretty, but I get no basil.
Twins! Except I’m in the body creme, which does smell basil-y to me.
Eau de Neroli Dore, Hermes.
I will be in that again this week for sure.
Montale Orange Flowers for the CP
Missoni dress
Cappuccino
Ciao!
Looking and smelling good, I bet!
How is the Montale?
I’m wearing Donna Karan Cashmere Mist since I have a routine doctor’s appointment this morning, but when I get back I’m going to imitate Jiji and put on some Nicolai New York. Debating whether or not to put CM on my swap list but it falls under the category pretty, inoffensive, innocuous which is sometimes hard to find without a perfume being totally boring.
? we smell mighty good!
Cloudy and rainy day, but seeing crocuses in bloom everywhere makes any day bright and cheerful.
Wearing Dame Perfumery Bergamot, Jasmine and Labdanum. Sample gone! Such a pretty powdery, creamy jasmine with a nice woody drydown. I am surprised by its longevity. Usually Dame perfumes are very fleeting on me.
Have a good Monday everyone!
My son has the full bottle of that one and it smells amazing on him . If you need more let me know ?
?
Weather twins! ☔??
At least is not that cold anymore! ?
True! But it isn’t T-shirt weather yet for me. ?
Hi all, SOTD is Le De Givenchy by Givenchy – still not able to smell much so wearing an easy scent today. Happy Monday! 🙂
How elegant this must be. I’ve never tried it.
Hope that your sniffer is back to rights ASAP!
Vintage, old or newest?
Yes, hope you are back to 100% sniffage soon!
In Cap Neroli. Orange blossom is my favorite.
It’s a good one. You smell gorgeous.
Ooh, that Y06-S sounds like a must-try. Anyone else love a different Blackbird scent while I’m ordering samples?
I’m wearing Terracotta, the perfume that broke my no-buy – it has been on my wishlist forever and a tester price + coupon would not be denied. It has been a while since my sample ran out, and when I sprayed it on this morning I momentarily thought I’d remembered it wrong! The top is a little too creamy-sweet for me. But an hour later it’s so beautiful I can hardly stand it.
You smell like summer.
I’ve been wanting to try Terracotta for a while and you are making it sound soooo good! I love a summery scent and it sounds like a great one!
If you have tried AG Songes and liked it, then you will probably like Terracotta. I find them to be the same style of BWF.
I do love Songes, so I’ll have to try some Terracotta.
Not on theme but smelling poetic in vintage Nina by Nina Ricci. No neroli but plenty of citrus in the top notes.
Ignoring the orange blossom for now, for one more outing with Black Orchid before I put her away for the warmer months. Thise should be coming any day now.
*those! This is what I get for posting from my phone.
Haie Fleurie du Hameau from my newly arrived very vintage bottle–the box says Jean Laporte on it (as well as L’artisan) and the bottle looks like the MPG ones. Still glorious but a little sharper than my more recent bottles and hey, it even qualifies for the community project since it contains orange blossom
Oh congrats, what a score!
Sunny and cold today. Sotd is Raffinee, which has orange blossom. I wore this yesterday to work and received a compliment from 2 customers. This is such a joy to wear, I’m wearing it two days in a row.
Hey lillyjo! I was catching up on the comments last week and saw yours on “what would hajusuuri do” and would have spewed any liquid I was drinking at that time but thank goodness I wasn’t. Anyway, congrats on your AdV travel spray purchase! It’s a bummer that you have not received the GWP that was as advertised. Good for you for insisting on getting what was promised. So what would I do? If I was buying something because of a desired GWP, it actually would have started with me taking a screen capture of the web page with that info “just in case” there’s a dispute. If it did not come with the order, I would call (like you did except I will only make one call) and if the person couldn’t help me, I would ask to speak to the supervisor and will not take no for an answer (a call center has to have at least a manager and/or team lead). If that person couldn’t help, I will keep asking to get to the next higher level manager. Once I am with the last manager standing, I will tell him / her that unless I get the GWP by a certain date, I will dispute a portion of the charge with the credit card company. If you’re asked to return the other GWP, tell them you will send it back only if you first get a shipping label that you will not get charged for. Also, with the call center, you shouldn’t have to repeat yourself – tell the manager to review the notes taken by the previous CSR and/or have the previous CSR explain the situation; explain again if you think the message got lost. Good luck!
Ha! I’m so glad you saw that post! I had wanted that travel set for a long time, and the gwp seemed like the right time to get it, as you know, I was very disappointed that it didn’t come with my order. Those customer service folks are tough cookies, I was told twice a manager would call me back. The third time, I did get to a manager. She is looking into getting me the correct gwp, and will contact me today. Good advice from you, as always ?
Don’t trust them if they say a manager will call you. Call centers live and die by metrics so if you can stay on hold, stay on hold until a manager can come to the phone.
Raffinee is lovely indeed, I get carnation mostly, from it.
Is that where the powderiness come from?
Sorry about the spelling
“Powderiness” looks OK to me. My spellcheck is being clueless about it, though. Maybe it wants a hyphen in there somewhere?
My spell check didn’t know either. I took a chance, lol
Hello Lillijo: I’m not sure about powderiness, maybe more a gentle spiciness.
New or old Raffinee?
It’s vintage, but I’m not sure which one? It’s just so lovely. Thank you to generous gail!
Glad you are enjoying it, lillyjo! Wow, congratulations on 2 compliments! It must smell amazing on you.
And I hope your GWP fiasco was corrected ?
My kind of week! Starting it off off-topic, though in Chanel 5 parfum, cause I didn’t read the memo. I realized today that I’ve had a cold since forever and I’m finally grumpy about it.
About time. 😉
Feel better soon!
Thanks for the well wishes!
Séville à L’Aube for juicy orange blossom. So much lushness! And following the link to read Kevin’s review of Robin’s scent.
I love Seville – it’s my go-to going out scent.
Today, I am wearing the olfactory opposite of Orange Blossom, L’Aire du Desert Morocain. 🙂 I love orange blossom, but curiously do not have that many perfumes which feature it. My scent for Friday is going to be Seville a l’Aube.
You smell awesome, even if it’s not orange blossom-y!
Right now, I’m sampling Pekji Zeybek on one wrist and Masque Milano Hemingway on the other. Oddly, I am getting a root beer smell from the Zeybek! It’s really good, however, and I like it. Just don’t know what combination of notes could be making this happen. With the Hemingway, I think it is the vetiver and ginger that is most pronounced.
Later, if both of these fade, I’ll put on AG Neroli. May have to wait a while before that happens. If it doesn’t, I’ll wear the AG tomorrow.
I got so much root beer smell out of Boucheron Trouble that I ended up giving my bottle away. Maybe a note comparison would reveal something?
Root beer is sometimes benzoin, if that helps.
Happy Monday! I smell fantabulous in Histoire d’Orangers, and since this gorgeous scent only lasts for a few hours on my skin, I brought my decant with me! My decant is looking dangerously low. Once it’s gone, I’ll definitely miss it.
I need to invest some time this week to look for that danged decant of Dilettante that I am SURE I have 🙁
Hey Koyel! I caught up on posts and saw that you mentioned your dad getting a good report on his treatment – woo hoo!
Thank you, hajusuuri <3 <3 Yes, that news really made my day 🙂 my week!
Hope everyone had a good weekend. I’m starting off Monday right with SB Smoked Ambergris.
Oh, all the things dogs do for mankind and the world, with their sniffer no less! This is amazing?.
https://youtu.be/f3PFQGsxUwc
Thanks for the link, Deva.
Amazing indeed! Thanks for sharing.
?❤??????
In Dylan Blue and smelling like nice shampoo. Wish I was in a neroli scent–this one is making me sneeze this AM.
Feeling a bit grumpy myself as I just blew through our erstwhile “vacation” budget for flight and hotel reservations in a small town in Ohio in the freezing rain next week to visit another college with my son. Oh the places we will go . . .
We’ll be trading places! Next week I’m leaving Ohio for a vacation in sunny California. Hope the weather is nice for you – campus tours are no fun in the rain and snow.
The weather is supposed to be dreadful, but I am thinking that maybe we can spend the first night in Cleveland and possibly even squeak in a peek at the Rock & Roll HoF . . .
The Rock Hall is a perfect thing to do on a crappy weather day. Cleveland has lots of great museums (full disclosure: I live there! Well, just outside the city.)
If art is your thing, I strongly recommend the Cleveland Museum of Art too.
The museum looks amazing, but we won’t have enough time. I just made a reservation for a hotel and for R&R Hall tix in Cleveland. If you have any downtown lunch recs, I am all ears. I am most excited about seeing Lake Eerie. I’ve always been a coastal gal, but read a lot about the trade and shipping on the Great Lakes when I was young. I have never been to any of the lakes.
There’s a beautiful view of Lake Erie from the Rock Hall! I don’t often venture downtown for lunch, but the food scene in Cleveland is surprisingly good, so you’ll have options.
Is he tourng Oberlin? I loved going there
Yep! He’s a city boy at heart, so he’s leaning towards his more urban options–but this trip could change his mind.
If you have it in you, please ping me about your experience there. I’d love to learn more! ann dottie eisenberg attagirl comcast dottie net
And if you can’t be bothered, no worries!
Still in hospital waiting for surgery tomorrow. My nurse came and gav me a fresh gown and helped me have a bath and brush my teeth so I feel much better after a bad night. Just put on the April Aromatics Liquid Dream which is the only thing I had in my purse when I came. My brother is here helping address my mom’s situation so I can relax and de-stress a bit.
Sorry to hear you’re in the hospital! I hope your recovery is swift and painless! ?
Wh wh what? I missed the update. Waiting in a hospital bed is the worst. I hope you are feeling okay–and really glad you have your brother around to help with your mum. Please keep us posted. Your gazillion fragrant friends are thinking of you!!!
Best wishes for your surgery tomorrow! So glad your brother is there to help.
Best wishes on the surgery!
I also missed the update and hope everything goes smoothy!
Best wishes for the surgery and a swift recovery!
Good luck for tomorrow.
You’re being very brave, Calypso, sending good thoughts your way.
Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. Glad to hear your brother is helping out.
Best of luck with your surgery tomorrow. Good to hear that your brother could come and help out with the situation.
Best wishes for your surgery. I’ll be thinking of you tomorrow.
sending good energy to you, Calypso!
Wishing you all the best for your surgery and a speed recovery also.
Calypso, so glad you are being taken care of and your brother is there!
Good luck tomorrow! You’re almost done with the waiting part, which is typically the worst of it. Hang in there!
I’m wearing vintage Box of Eels parfum today, it’s evaporating fast and there’s no sense in hoarding it. I’m decluttering today, stuff that just accumulates but never gets thrown out. Old eyeglasses and their cases, scratched sunglasses, curtain finials that didn’t fit the rod, a basket that held Christmas treats long since eaten–you know the kind of stuff that hangs around. It will be nice when this stuff is gone.
So… I’m not supposed to keep every old pair of glasses, you know… just in case? Lol?
I totally need to get rid of that kind of stuff too.
No sense is hoarding something that is evaporating. I am having that evaporation issue with Amouage Epic and LADDM. I guess my dogs knocking bottles onto the ground while counter surfing will do that.
There are two boxes of empty picture frames in my basement that really really need to go . . . but what if . . .
Maybe you can decant some BoEels into an airtight container? Also, decluttering ftw! I should get to it too
Look like AMIGOS Eye Care/Lions club take donations of eyeglasses…
Thanks for this info! I have a collection of old prescription eyeglasses that are just sitting around and not doing me any good any more.
Sometimes there’s a Lions Club collection bin at LensCrafters. I always keep my last decent pair and donate anything older, because if you share my prescription, you really NEED glasses, and the lenses are expensive.
I totally borked it on the swapmeet and forgot to post over the weekend, so hopefully someone will actually see my post over there!
Today I’m wearing Venezia, and over the weekend I smelled Shalimar Souffle de Parfum and was left feeling insulted by the experience. I don’t usually get my wig in knots about flankers, but it’s like smelling a perfume from several rooms over. A perfume that accidentally got thrown in the wash. It’s such a pale boring nothing. At least Parfum Initial had oomph and personality, if not much Shalimar DNA.
If you do want a light Shalimar, the newer cologne is very good. I think of it as Shalimar Summer, because that’s when I wear it.
Early morning meeting/retirement breakfast (not mine, alas) at work, so went with the last dregs of my Jour d’Hermes Absolu.
Going to Florida on vacation (for me; for my fellow travelers, a trip, since they are all retired except for the tour director) had me thinking of retirement…which is still quite a ways away. A couple I know is moving to Florida imminently. Their house is being built. They had been effectively retired since both got laid off a few years back and have all the time in the world to research the “best” places in Florida, considering the weather, population, proximity to services, etc. I didn’t pay attention to where exactly they’re moving (I’ll be more aware once they actually move in a few months).
This woman is starting her retirement with a Mediterranean cruise!
That’s the way to do it!
Nice!!
Perfect!
I never remember to check the CP until about Thursday. Today I’m wearing Bvlgari Black. The bottle is so short, I usually lose track of it so it’s quite neglected.
Same here – I forgot I have this!
SOTD = Les Infusions de Prada Mandarine
On theme with neroli and orange blossom. The oppoponax makes it smell like it has iris. Beautiful, perfect for spring!
I was baaaaad yesterday with 2 impulse purchases. Macy’s had a 15% off beauty and I got No.5 L’Eau Body Oil and a 50mL bottle of the original Tiffany.
Vacation was nice (I posted towards the bottom of the LWP) but I am also glad to be back. I had a few days off before leaving for vacation and I organized a few sections of my room. I have at least 3 bags of stuff to donate and I am sure there will be more. I will check out the swap meet to see whose wishes I can fulfill, especially with samples. I have a lot (150+) new manifacturer’s samples. I will actually count because I am curious.
Oooohh I bet the L’Eau body oil is soooo good!!!
Yas!
I didn’t know there was an oil! Or a Prada Manderine! Lol, is it really orange-e?
Prada Mandarine is very juicy orange. Oppoponax times down that juiciness and makes it greenish.
tones, not times!
Heh, I bet that you will get good use from that No. 5 L’eau body oil. So I wouldn’t call it a bad purchase. ?
“Bad” only because it was impulsive ?
I spent the morning in vintage Mitsouko extrait and commando post shower. I spent the past week getting rid of subscriptions and streamlining some financial stuff. So far, I came up with around $175 saved. Bark Box and Amazon Prime are the only ones that have been saved. I am dealing with two full bottle spray bottles that are showing signs of evaporation and they are Epic and LADDM. I guess I have to wear the snot out of them before I lose them. I think I will wear Givenchy III today and vintage one at that.
If memory serves, Givenchy III is a green scent, right?
Yep, it’s a green. I am waiting for some warm weather to arrive. I am tired of wearing long sleeved shirts and hoodies and coats.
Oh, Givenchy III is such a great scent! I went through a few bottles back in the day!
My hand wanted Beloved this morning so that’s my SOTD.
The hand wants what it wants haha.
You know those days where nothing is shouting at you? I was relieved to let the hand decide this AM.
Beloved is a great perfume to counter the Monday blahs. (I could have ended my sentence after the word “perfume”.)
?
I’m in Prada Amber Pour Homme today and it happens to have a neroli hiding within it’s gorgeous soapiness
Plus, you smell great.
SOTD: JM’s English Pear and Freesia. I went a brief freesia kick last summer and acquired a sample of this. Sadly, my love for freesia did not stand the test of time. This might be a nice scent for a young girl but I need a little more oomph.
I got the same reaction. Nice for what it is but not full bottle worthy or even decant worthy.
I love the smell of freesia but have never found a freesia perfume that suited me…
My left arm is participating in the CP (Gris Montaigne) and my right arm is doing it’s own thing in Early Roses.
I’m liking my left arm a little better, but both arms smell very nice! ?
My arms don’t always cooperate with each other either 🙂
commando today, but i bought a handful of yellow freesias from Trader Joes and they smell just wonderful <3
Oh I wish I had some yellow freesias on my desk!
Dilettante!
Dilettante for a lady of leisure…I myself am in work-friendly Cuir de Lamcome (again).
Twins! We smell awesome.
Just found out on this very sunny day… rest in peace Scott Walker – what a voice…
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=koO-rnus45M
I just found out too (it’s evening here), such a warm barytone, RIP.
*baritone of course, and many thanks for the link Viridiaan.
You’re most welcome Aurora! ?
Back at work but certainly not happy about it! My, how the emails do pile up when one is away for a week. Grrrr.
Dilettante to lift my mood. I really love this one. I’ll have to do some searching for some other neroli/orange blossom for the week. Hope all you sweet smelling folks making through Monday okay!
You smell awesome!
btw Your instagram pics gave me serious food cravings. ?
I ate soooo good last week! I am back on my healthy eating since I returned, but I have dreamed about my NYC food all day today ha!
Glad to hear that you enjoyed your NYC trip! ✈
Your photos were amazing. I am very jealous, and wish I could rock a striped sweater dress as well as you!
I love that dress mainly because it’s super comfy ha!
Ditto on your Instagram pictures. Looks like it was so much fun!
There was still a chill this morning before the sun appeared, I thought it was a good day for Hermes Hiris.
Project start in Portland delayed by 2 days so I got an extra 2 nights in my bed and one more day to avoid packing. Fly up tomorrow.
For someone who travels every week with military like precision, one would think I would have it down, but I don’t. Oh well, who cares. I have an unopened bottle of JM cade and cedarwood to pack.
today was just a touch of TF oud wood.
I emailed Parfum
Satori and Osawa san emailed me back to let me know Mizunara may not ship out of Japan until the end of the year. Damn.
We will have to meet up while you are here! Fumerie and The Perfume House await, and a store called Mantel carries all the Blackbird scents.
and no sales tax!!!!
Wearing Chanel Coco edp- two healthy sprays and I am swimming in a beautiful ambery cloud, and yes, I can clearly smell orange blossom:)
I didn’t even remember there was orange blossom in amongst the beautiful florals. This is, I think, my favorite CP yet.
Feeling somewhat energized after a workout, shower and a few squirts of Anne Boleyn Rose perfume. This was my souvenir from Hever Castle in Kent last September. Its bringing back lovely memories 🙂
“Anne Boleyn Rose” sounds intriguing!
Rain has rolled in during the afternoon hours here. ?☔
SOTD = Silences, from the sample stash. It goes perfectly with the weather today. Maybe I will be in the mood for orange blossom tomorrow?
I think thecrain is heading my way. Today was gorgeous here however.
Lucky you, having gorgeous weather today! ? It looks like the rain will stick around here into the overnight hours. At least it wasn’t a heavy rain.
I am eyeing at least 2 more orange blossom perfume this week!
You just need an orange blossom that works in rainy weather. I have L’Heure Bleue and Elie Saab L’Eau Couture lined up for the cooler days with a chance of rain this week.
I’me very late posting today; in fact I should be in bed, but I’m following the voting in the House of Commons.
SOTD was Givenchy “Pi” again – it’s in rotation with 2 other perfumes Sat to Thu and on Fridays I can wear a sample of something else. Got some nice decants coming though.
Sunday was a rare sunny day and pretty warm out of the wind. TOMK had a really enjoyable walk through the protected area of sand dunes north of Scheveningen, the old fishing port and now beach resort part of The Hague. All the bushes are just poised to burst into green over the next weeks. At places it was so still and calm we could hear hardly a noise; then over the next ridge birds would be calling of the sound of the sea would suddenly come to us – it is strange how sound behaves in that landscape. The Other Mr. Koenigsberg is a great Nature lover and has been missing the canals of Birmingham or the parks of Malaga, so I was glad to see him drinking in the atmosphere of the dunes.
Today is a non-working day for me. I spent the day on company admin and generally pootling around. Back to the grindstone tomorrow. :^)
Glad you and TOMK had a good day doing your own things! It sounds like you both are making the most of your temporary residency!
Late to reading the Monday posts, but just wanted to say your day sounded really lovely. And thanks for clarifying what TOMK stands for!
I’m old, so always assume there is some “code” that I’m not in on. 🙂
I’m wearing Arielle Shoshana today. I ordered the travel spray because I fell in love with the top notes, but the dry down is absolutely amazing. This is really special stuff.
Love and hugs to all of you. I got some bad news today which just made me appreciate the light in the world even more. This community is definitely a beautiful shining light. Thank you.
So sorry to read about your bad news. I hope it turns out okay in the end.
AS is a quirky one. I have a decant. Glad uou are enjoying it!
Ugh, just what no one needs… bad news. I’m sorry. Hugs.
Sending a hug and positive thoughts your way.
Hugs to you, sistine.
Appreciating the light is a good way to keep things in balance. Enjoy the Arielle Shoshana–that punch of passion fruit is delightful.
Late, but I’m sorry to hear about your bad news.
I’m sorry you got bad news. Hope today is better.
Aaaaggghhh! It’s the end of the work day, and I haven’t applied a single spritz of perfume ALL DAY. It’s been one of those “hit the ground running” days, and I just managed to sit down and log onto NST.
I am intrigued by the Y06-S – I’ve only smelled banana in Sira des Indes.
I am going to stop working now, and go find myself some gorgeous perfume to wear.
Monday is almost over, everybody!
Yes, but tomorrow is Tuesday and not Friday or Saturday ?
Put on a couple sprays of Natori tonight, just because. I just love the bottle shape and how the lid snaps on.
I should have enough Orange Blossom fragrances for a few days this week?
It is a lovely bottle. I got a mini just for the bottle.
I am all in on orange blossom/neroli week. With samples, I could probably do at least two weeks. Today I’m trying, for the first time, 7 Virtues Neroli Jasmine. It opened with a loud, breezy Jasmine, and dried down to a slightly spicy floral melange. Not as much Neroli as I was hoping, but quite pleasant. Think I’ll check out the Swapmeet, although I don’t have much to swap. I’m thinking about blind-buying some Guerlain Insolence, though, so I may have something for next time.
Crazy day, haven’t read many comments yet. Probably won’t be able to read or post much tomorrow either. I wore Jo Malone Basil and Neroli. Lovely stuff.
Whoops. See my reply below.
Lovely indeed. This is going to be a great week, at least perfumewise.
Yes, I agree! Orange blossom and neroli perfumes have been some of my favorites since getting into perfume years ago so I have a LOT to choose from this week.
