The daily lemming

Posted by Robin on 6 December 2018 8 Comments

Several body sprays (including Vanillary and Rose Jam) are back in stock at Lush USA, but of course the one that caught my eye is UK only: Big. "Dishevelled and breezy, this sunkissed citrus perfume is unexpectedly evocative. Sweet not sharp, Mediterranean orange flower and neroli counter juicy mandarin, creating heady floral undertones. A postcard perfume made of relaxed summer notes; on your skin, holidays are revisited, and mandarin is reinvented." £25 for 200 ml. The UK also has a bunch of new and/or reissued perfumes, some in oil format: Butterball, Grass, Yog Nog, American Cream and Lord of Misrule. (And the Spritzen gift set includes 15 ml bottles of Butterball, Yog Nog and Lord of Misrule for £49.)

    Dear Lush,
We Yanks want these good smellies too. Please send some Big and Butterball over here. Thanks! Jada

PS: Might want to rename Butterball for the American market…. LOL

Hmmm, an eau de cologne with neroli you say?

Gee, this truly sounds delightful, but I will wait until summer here in the USA to see if it launches here. I am still loving Cap Neroli for this scent, though.

I adored my American Cream solid. Sure wish I could get my hands on the spray!

I always forget to check the Lush website regularly, so thank you for this heads-up, Robin. I see some of the perfumes have been released in the tiny brown apothecary bottles, which is how Hay was presented way back when – can only hope it will also reappear. In the meantime, I’m in town on Tuesday so may pop y to see what my local branch has in the way of relaunched products – have to be a quick visit, though, as my husband can barely walk past the shop without sneezing…!
