More scent-related advent calendars for 2018 — see part 1 if you missed it. And don't forget, most advent calendars sell out early! If you know of any I missed, do comment.

Diptyque's 2018 Advent is out: "25 little pleasures to discover before Christmas. The advent calendar brings together holiday treasures in a magical box. Emblematic products of the House in discovery formats make everyday a celebration; contains candles, fragrance & body care products." Jo Malone's Georgian townhouse Advent for 2018: "A shimmering countdown. Bursting with twinkling gifts. Colognes, Candles and more. The ultimate indulgence for you." $450 at Jo Malone.

Space NK gets into the act: "Our first ever beauty calendar is housed in an opulent emerald green and burgundy open-out box. Hidden within each of the 25 pull-out drawers is a beauty favorite from new brands including Votary as well as bestsellers from, Sunday Riley, Diptyque and more. This one-off, seasonal extravaganza is only available while stocks last. Don’t miss out on what promises to be the ultimate countdown to Christmas." $250 at SpaceNK.

From Rituals, The Ritual Of Advent: "Count down to Christmas with The Ritual Of Advent Gift Set, including 24 RITUALS surprises. This Advent calendar is the perfect present to give or to get. Treat yourself or your loved ones to a special moment each day." $89 at Macys.

L'Occitane has two calendars this year, both featuring designs from Castelbajac Paris. Shown is the Luxury model, $124 ("Discover the magic of the Holidays with this captivating Luxury Advent Calendar! Featuring 24 exclusive gifts for a luxurious way to beautify the countdown to the Holidays"). The Classic model is $59 and benefits Unicef ("This holiday season, join L’OCCITANE in helping UNICEF improve the lives of 1.7 million children around the world. For each purchase of the Signature Advent Calendar, L'OCCITANE will help UNICEF provide Vitamin A supplements to children in the fight against preventable childhood blindness").

Molton Brown's Opulent Infusions Advent Calendar: "A merry muddle of festive fragrances, our Opulent Infusions Advent Calendar is the ultimate homage to Christmas. Behind each of the 24 doors, a tantalising treat awaits - many in full-sizes." $250 at Molton Brown.

Moving on from perfume, how about tea from Palais des Thé? "Count down to Christmas with this beautiful Advent calendar perfect for tea lovers. Open a numbered door each day of December before Christmas to find a tea bag containing a variety of Palais des Thés' best-selling flavors and varietals. Includes 24 varietal tea bags packaged in a gift-ready Advent calendar." $29 at Nordstrom.

Or chocolate? "The Neuhaus Chocolate Winter Wonderland Pop-up advent calendar where the magic of Brussels awaits you, one chocolate at a time. Filled with 25 of the most timeless pralines." $70 at Bergdorf Goodman.

It’s lovely, although I think for the money I’d rather have the yearly trio of holiday candles? Not sure. It would be nice to have the travel sprays. And yes, we can dream — I’ll take both 😉

Humbug. I can’t imagine spending more than $50 or so for advent anything.
