Posted by Robin on 20 September 2018 14 Comments

Jennifer Aniston has launched Chapter Two, a new fragrance for women.

Jennifer Aniston's Chapter Two is a luxurious scent inspired by the natural grace and effortless elegance of Jennifer's California lifestyle. It is a floral woody fragrance that surrounds you with a golden aura, endlessly captivating and alluring, inviting you to share the moment in the spotlight.

The notes feature coconut water, mandarin, lavender, watery California accord, orris, gardenia, jasmine, hibiscus, solar floral, sandalwood, musk, ambrette and golden amber rays.

Jennifer Aniston Chapter Two is available now at Kohls, in 30 and 50 ml Eau de Parfum.

What do “golden amber rays” smell like?

I’m more worried about “watery California accord” if I’m being honest.

Me too. Is it orange grove kind of watery or Venice Beach kind of watery?

The Pacific Ocean is watery; I’m afraid California itself is running dry (again). ‘Smoky California accord,’ now that would work.

Considering the current “red tide” issue in Florida, that is probably better than a watery Florida accord.

They are what shines over watery California?

I guess they had me at “endlessly captivating effortless elegance”. Seeing that friends seems to be going through a bit of a revival (judging by my 13 year old and her cohort), perhaps there are some customers who are eager for this?

Is it just me, or does that bottle sort of resemble the original Shiseido FdB?

This is the third time i’ve seen the word solar :D

Is this a code word for hedione? I heard hedione is very radiant.

Usually an accord meant to smell like sun warmed skin, or sun warmed sand, or beachy in some way. Might have ylang, might be a musk (and you’ll sometimes see the term ‘solar musk’).
