Viktor & Rolf Salty Flower ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 19 September 2018 9 Comments

Viktor & Rolf will launch Salty Flower, a new addition to the Magic Collection.

Magic Collection potions swirl in irregular glass bottles laced with tiny, thin bubbles—providing a transparent view of the subtly hued, pastel liquids encapsulated within. The bottles are reminiscent of luxuriously crafted apothecary bottles. True to this nostalgic, chemist form, the glass-embossed letters of "Magic" and "Viktor & Rolf" run vertically down the sides of the potion-filled capsules. The latest potion in the Magic Collection creates an an exotic escape of Frangipani flowers, which are transformed by a magical wave of an addictive salty accord that is fresh and floral.

Salty Flower was developed by perfumer Marie Salamagne.

Viktor & Rolf Magic Salty Flower can be pre-ordered now at Saks Fifth Avenue, $190 for 75 ml Eau de Parfum, delivery in October.

V & R scents are interesting, but a touch overwhelming. Frangipani and salt sounds intriguing! Will have to swing by Nordstrom’s and try it.

I tried all of these on strips and not one was worth trying on my skin. This sounds good but I wouldn’t seek it out without someone telling me it was worth the time.

Sounds like code for beachy, tropical floral?
