Jo Malone Honeysuckle & Davana ~ new fragrance

Posted by Robin on 17 July 2018 8 Comments

Jo Malone will launch Honeysuckle & Davana, a new fragrance for women.

Honeysuckle & Davana was developed by perfumer Anne Flipo, and is described as a "sunny floral".

Jo Malone Honeysuckle & Davana will be available in 30 and 100 ml Cologne.

Update: from the description at Nordstrom...

What it is: A unisex cologne highlighting the wildness of honeysuckle and the fruitiness of davana.

Fragrance story: The wildness of honeysuckle, winding through the English countryside. Climbing. Twisting. Ever more alluring after dark. Fresh with rose and the aromatic, fruity twist of davana. Woody with moss. Warmed by sunshine. Davana is a green plant with hints of liquorice that brings vibrancy to the fragrance and a touch of a fruity note. English honeysuckle, with a radiant floralcy, brings a rich character to the heart of the fragrance. Evocative of undergrowth damp with fresh rain, the verdance of moss cushions the base of the fragrance in earthy, woody warmth.

Additional notes include honey.

I adore honeysuckle, I’d be interested in giving this a try when it’s released!

Same for me! I’ll try anything billed as honeysuckle, though nothing has come very close to the real thing.

Have you tried the Demeter? I haven’t smelled it for years but it is convincing but very fleeting.

The only Jo Malone I owned in full bottle was Honeysuckle & Jasmine. I loved it and got a lot of compliments. It was quite sweet….wonder if this will be less sweet…given the “sunny” descriptor.

They sent my mum a free 30ml bottle of this today – it’s a nice sunny floral. Nothing amazing but not bad.
