The 7 Virtues Peace Perfumes ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 21 February 2018 12 Comments

The 7 Virtues has launched Peace Perfumes, with seven new fragrances: Grapefruit Lime, Jasmine Neroli, Orange Blossom, Patchouli Citrus, Rose Amber, Vetiver Elemi and Vanilla Woods. The collection was developed under the Sephora Accelerate program ("dedicated to building a community of innovative female founders in beauty"), and features organic fair trade essential oils.

Grapefruit Lime ~ "This hero scent is as popular for its story as it is for its rejuvenating aromatherapy properties and is loved the world over. Opening notes of sweetie grapefruit, lime, and basil blend with ambrosial, big hearted notes of green tea and petit grain. Its warm dry down lasts thorugh base notes of bamboo and cedarwood. The scent for women and men blends well with Vetiver Elemi for a signature peace fragrance."

Jasmine Neroli ~ "This natural jasmine essential oil’s aromatheraputic properties help with meditation and remaining positive regardless of your challenges. This evocative blend is fresh yet sexy with healing neroli and soft honeysuckle. Anchored by base notes of labdanum and amber, this will become your favorite jasmine scent. For women and men looking for a new interpretation of the classic note, this scent is as comforting as soothing jasmine tea."

Orange Blossom ~ "Healing neroli (orange blossom) essential oil is known to reduce anxiety and has aromatheraputic benefits. This bright, fresh orange blossom blends gloriously with the lush, juicy freshness of mandarin, tangerine and bergamot. Known as the kind perfume, it comes with a warm heart of jasmine anchored with precious amber as a base note. This vegan perfume is for men and women who want a scent they can wear to work in the morning and layer with a bolder Rose Amber at night."

Patchouli Citrus ~ "This organic, fair trade patchouli essential oil has aromatherapy benefits to reduce tension. It is accented by wildly complimentary heart notes of sweet peony and rose geranium and base notes of sandalwood and amber. This is not the hippy scent of the past, but a modern, sexy rendition that required 25 versions before excellence was achieved. The fragrance is for men and women and blends well with Rose Amber for a sensual and free-spirited effect."

Rose Amber ~ "The rare and precious rose essential oil is famous for stimulating feelings of love, as well as for its aromatherapy benefits. Adventurous Rose Amber peace perfume is for contemporary women and men who want to leave a better footprint on this earth than they found. This is the warm rose of love. The contemporary scent features heart notes of warm cinnamon and crisp lavender, anchored by base notes of sensual sandalwood and delicious vanilla. Wear alone or blend with the fresh, bright scent of Orange Blossom for your own trademark impression."

Vetiver Elemi (shown) ~ "Vetiver Elemi perfume features organic vetiver essential oil, and has aromatheraputic and aphrodisiac properties when blended with natural pheromones. The unique formulation with precious elemi offers spicy heart notes of cardamom, cumin, and nutmeg, and is anchored with base notes of warm cedarwood. This fresh and sensual vetiver is a popular scent for women and men."

Vanilla Woods ~ "This precious, organic, fair trade vanilla essential oil alleviates stress with aromatheraputic benefits. The intoxicating Vanilla Woods formulation is a classic scent with fresh notes of pear, a big heart note of rose, and base notes of soft caramel and vanilla for the perfect balance of sweet, warm musk and amber. Blend with any of the other peace perfumes to create your own signature peace scent."

The 7 Virtues Peace Perfumes can be found at Sephora in Canada. They are available in 50 ml Eau de Parfum ($88 CAD) or in an 11 ml Rollerball ($30 CAD). The "Peace Blend Box" features 1.5 ml samples of all 7 fragrances for $30 CAD.

I really like their vetiver perfume, but can’t find it anywhere in the US…I wonder if it’s a Canadian company?

Yes, they are Canadian. Hoping they’ll bring these to Sephora in the US.

Oh, I stink at describing perfumes! And I sampled it probably 2 years ago…BUT it went on my full bottle list! The price is right, the longevity was good on me, and I remember is being more of a gourmand-ish vetiver…? Anyone else care to chime in?

Ha, all I remember is Vetiver! All her original collection scents were nice, decently priced, very materials focused.

Deva, thanks to a lovely NST benefactress, I have a bottle of The 7 Virtues Vetiver of Haiti. It’s maybe 5 years old or so, and I don’t get a gourmandish vibe at all, but if you’d like to try it, drop me a line: my gravatar name at mail in the land of gee.

I was sad when Lord and Taylor stopped carrying the line a few years back.

Oh, thanks for the offer, but I’m good. I have tried it but my memory and nose are probably wonky, or it may just be my skin. Enjoy that bottle! I have several splits to look forward to and my NSTer Fairy Godmother sent me a decant of Naja, which I am truly loving, so plenty of goodies to keep me busy.

    soft
    warm
    precious
    sensual…..
Ah where would we be without a gazillion adjectives! 😉

Fair trade is a plus though, I like the packaging/illustrations AND they offer a reasonably priced good looking sample box! Not bad, not bad. 🙂 But I probably wont see them here in Europe…. (And Sephora probably does not ship perfume overseas).

Thank you for posting that link. These are the kind of people who should be running the world. Instead we have $@#%*. Reminds me also a bit of Tauer and his inspiration for PHI.
