We’re into the afternoon of the 3rd day of the New Year here in the UK, & no doubt earlier where you are, Robin – & we already have 3 flankers being launched – I despair…! & the news about Annick Goutal on Fragrantica a few days ago isn’t good either…

Indeed… & my apologies for the ‘s’ typo on the end of ‘be’ & the comma instead of full stop – my nails need trimming!

Don’t despair. There will always be good perfumes!

I haven’t liked any of the Prada Candy flankers – you just can’t improve on the original, which was quite excellent.

Yep. Love the original; the flankers haven’t done a thing for me.

I agree with Cazaubon^. The original is fantastic! Sadly, I feel Prada is going down the path Guerlain blazed with LPRN. IMHO, Guerlain ruined LPRN by reformulating the original 2009 version. Hope Prada doesn’t make that same decision.

Yes! I even started to brainstorm the composition. An alliance of aniseed and vetivert with ethyl maltol and helichrysum on an Iso E Super and musk base.
