Evocations de Lubin ~ new fragrances

Posted by Robin on 1 November 2017 2 Comments

Evocations de Lubin

French niche line Lubin will launch Evocations de Lubin, a new trio of unisex fragrances: Attique, Brittany Breeze and Vetiris.

A new privileged sourcing of natural raw materials prompted us to develop a new scent collection: “Evocations de Lubin”. These compositions are characterized by their simplicity. The heart of these eaux de parfum always combines 2 or 3 natural ingredients only, which makes them legible immediately. The precious ingredients which mingle together bring the sensation of outdoor scents, long lasting and fresh at the same time. Every perfume evokes a rare and precious moment in a particular place: aboard a sailboat which clears off on the Atlantic Ocean in the early hours, in a Tuscan garden in springtime or at twilight in the scrubland of the Peloponnese.

Attique ~ "Attique recreates “Attic Nights”, by Aulus Gellius. In the shade of a gnarled fig tree, the scholar spends his evenings studying in the scrub of Mount Parnassus, near the sacred sanctuary at Delphi. The sea breeze blows through the coves and mixes aromatic herbs with the scent of the green figs on the trees." The notes include lemon, bergamot, sea spray, basil, jasmine, orange blossom, fig tree, Virginia cedar and solar notes.

Brittany Breeze ~ "Off the coast of Brittany, the ocean winds fill the sails of a clipper which is sailing towards the horizon. Brittany Breeze is an eau de parfum with sea accents and a hint of iodine and sea spray. Minty notes and aromatic herbs dominate, over a woody, spicy and chypré base." The notes include peppermint, spearmint, star anise, artemisia, bergamot, thyme, lavender, galbanum, geranium, green violet, vetiver, cedar, tonka bean, cumin and oak moss.

Vetiris ~ "Vetiris opens with a bright burst of citrus and juniper, whisking us away to a fresh spring morning in Tuscany. The aromatic herbs, clary sage and cardamom melt into the woody essences of vetiver and cypress and are then joined by clove and nutmeg over a dry base enhanced with iris." The notes include lemon, lime, bergamot, petitgrain, green cardamom, clove, clary sage, black pepper, neroli, vetiver, iris, cypress and nutmeg.

Lubin Attique, Brittany Breeze and Vetiris will be available in Eau de Parfum, size unknown.

Vetiris! Love the name, love the notes. Maybe I’ll get to sniff it someday.
