Posted by Robin on 15 June 2017 9 Comments

DKNY Nectar Love

Donna Karan has launched DKNY Nectar Love, a new fragrance for women.

Irresistible. Intoxicating. Addictive. Experience the allure of Nectar Love as it bottles the heart-stopping moment when eyes meet and the whole world stops. Like a bee captivated by the irresistible draw to a lush blooming flower, Nectar Love captures nature's pull of undeniable attraction. The fragrance is a floral fruity gourmand with an exclusive natural attraction extract of honeycomb and neroli that delivers an addictive dose of delicious attraction.

Additional notes include freesia, mandarin, solar salicylates, jasmine, muguet and mirabelle.

DKNY Nectar Love is available now at Ulta, in 30, 50 and 100 ml Eau de Parfum.

“An exclusive natural attraction extract of honeycomb and neroli”

Hurrr? Natural attraction extract? Where was this when I was single?!
    ;)

Digging this bottle. It’s the lovechild of Paco Robanne 1 Million & Marc Jacobs Daisy.

      It is very Marc Jacobs!

On first glance, I thought it was a Be Delicious flanker, albeit with a more svelte / lopsided top. Freesia, LOTV, meh.

Bottle looks like they did not decide until the last minute if it was a BD flanker or not.

Agreed, and the company has already used this for a couple of ‘Be Delicious’ flankers. The bees are also not terribly original, either.

That reads as if it were written by someone who’s never read anything in their life except other perfume ad copy (“addictive” not once but twice, and “attraction” three times?), then translated from English into some other language and back into English.

    Bottle’s sort of pretty, though.

This doesn’t sound terrible, but I’m not holding my breath.

And I agree, the copy is awful.
